Abstract

This community service activity aims to socialize the use of the DANA digital wallet to the people of Bangun Jaya Village, Pagar Alam City. The methods used are presentations, demonstrations and direct practice. The results of the activity show an increase in public understanding and interest in using the DANA digital wallet for daily transactions. Using the Dana Digital Wallet will save the community IDR 6,500 more, compared to using other Digital Wallets.

Abstract

The video and poster competition is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in Community Service between the Tourism Education Study Program at Indonesia University of Education (UPI) and the Tourism Study Program at Padang State University (UNP). The aim of this activity is to educate and promote sustainable tourism in the era of Society 5.0, involving active students from Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Tourism from West Java and the Greater Jakarta area. This activity is designed to turn students into agents of change in raising awareness about the importance of environmentally friendly tourism practices and supporting the sustainability of local culture. Through this competition, participants' creativity in producing promotional videos and digital posters demonstrates a significant improvement in their understanding of sustainable tourism concepts. Additionally, this activity fosters cross-sector collaboration with academics, tourism practitioners, and local governments. Thus, this initiative not only advances sustainable tourism education but also enhances innovation in the use of digital technology to convey environmental and cultural messages. This serves as an essential foundation for sustainable tourism efforts in Indonesia.

Abstract

Using digital marketing to increase sales of MSMEs, digital marketing has a very important role in increasing sales and income so they can access a wider market. Lack of understanding, skills and abilities in using digital technology is one of the obstacles experienced by MSME players. In this problem, the way to overcome the problems faced by MSME players is that training is provided on how to use digital applications, especially the WhatsApp business and Instagram applications to improve the abilities and skills of MSME players in using digital as a promotional media. The method used in this field work activity uses direct mentoring and training methods for MSME actors by implementing the stages of observation, interviews, planning, activities, activity processes, end of activities, and documentation. With the results, MSME players have begun to understand and understand how to manage and use the WhatsApp business and Instagram applications as media for promoting online sales of the goods they produce.

Abstract

The research entitled 'Evaluation of the Accounting System for Cash Income and Expenditures for MSMEs in Sedayu District" was carried out on 2 MSMEs, namely Angkringan Pusat and Warung Kang Bawor. With the aim of carrying out an in-depth analysis of the cash management system, especially in recording financial reports. The research results show that the largest cash expenditure comes from purchasing goods to carry out stock, while the main income comes from product sales. Apart from that, weaknesses were also found in recording financial reports, namely the combination of personal money and business money that occurred in the 2 MSMEs. This is caused by managers' lack of knowledge regarding a good financial recording system, so this is a major obstacle, so in this research it is recommended to increase education and training for managers of the Angkringan Center and Warung Kang Bawor MSME businesses. With the hope of producing financial report records that comply with standards.

Abstract

One of the significant challenges in the world of education is the learning difficulties experienced by students, including in the boarding school environment. The purpose of this service activity is to provide tutoring to grade VII students, especially class VII-C MTs Mambaul Ulum to help students overcome difficulties in learning mathematics. The method of implementing service activities consists of five main stages: 1) planning and preparation including taking care of permits to carry out service activities, conducting initial surveys to identify mathematical materials that are considered necessary for guidance, compiling teaching materials needed in tutoring activities, and determining the schedule for the implementation of tutoring activities; 2) providing pretest questions to determine students' learning abilities before tutoring activities are held; 3) the implementation of tutoring activities; 4) the provision of posttest questions to determine students' mathematics learning ability after tutoring activities, and; 5) evaluation. The results of this activity show that mathematics tutoring activities for grade VII students, especially grade VII-C MTs Mambaul Ulum, have proven to be effective in helping to overcome difficulties in learning mathematics. The increase in the average score from pretest to posttest, from 45 to 80, shows that students are able to understand and master the material taught.

Abstract

The Association of Indonesian Catering Experts (Ikaboga Indonesia) is a social organization with 28 DPDs in 28 Provinces, providing many courses and training in Catering. It is not easy to control; it requires organizational communication competence because it is essential to lead and maintain the organization's running and effectively achieve organizational goals. In the 4C Model, competencies (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) are 21st Century Skills. So that Ikaboga Indonesia's activities are widely known and trusted, this can include using social media as a branding and reputation-building medium. Moreover, it is known that 60% of Indonesia's population uses social media. Branding is essential because it can place an organization's name above other competitors, and reputation is critical because it can carry positive attributes and provide sustainable profits. This is the urgency and background of this training. The aim is for Ikaboga Indonesia Chairs to improve their organizational communication competence and the 4C Model, both for branding and building reputation through social media. This activity was carried out hybrid (offline and online) on February 6, 2024, in the Hall, Fl. 7 Tedja Buana Building, Menteng, Central Jakarta. It uses presentation, question and answer, discussion, practice, and simulation methods. One hundred fifty-nine participants participated, 44 (27.8%) offline and 115 (72.2%) online. Get positive responses, rated as needed, helpful, and engaging.

Abstract

The ability for young entrepreneurs nowadays in the middle of dynamic economic globalization environment is a worthy skill and have to be enhanced. Beside giving a chance for individuals to improve economically, entrepreneurship ability is important to be enhanced and improved to motivate creativity, innovation and open the job vacancy. One of the important knowledge and skill to become a young entrepreneur is capable in marketing aspect . The purpose of this community service activity is to help young entrepreneurs whether they are new or is in business now. In this community service activity, the method that are used is knowledge transfer through socialization dan discussion about marketing aspects in business with sharing session and question answer activity about marketing strategy and the problem that occur. The result is giving the more knowledge for the young entrepreneurs in selling their product or services

Abstract

Anemia is a widespread public health problem associated with increased mortality and morbidity, especially in pregnant women. In both developed and developing countries, some women experience anemia during pregnancy. Usually non-pregnant women have normal hemoglobin of 12-15%. According to WHO, the incidence of anemia in pregnancy ranges from 20% to 89% by setting HB <11 gr% (h/dl). The rate of anemia in pregnancy occurs 3.8% in the first trimester, 13.6% in the second trimester and 24.8% in the third trimester (Manuaba, 2012). The counseling method on preventing anemia by providing iron (Fe) to pregnant women is used in the community service program. The community service event was presented by twenty pregnant women from Bangun Rejo Village aged 20 to 35 years. After the counseling activity, pregnant women from Bangun Rejo Village understood more about anemia in pregnant women. This can be seen from the increase in their post-test scores compared to their pre-test. The pre-test results showed that most participants answered incorrectly, with an average score of 35; the post-test results showed an increase in knowledge, with an average score of 80. After attending the counseling and completing the post-test, the last participants underwent an Hb examination, which was guided by a gymnastics instructor and documented via video.

Abstract

Poverty alleviation is still the main target in sustainable development.  From poverty alleviation efforts there are some problems that become problems in the implementation of alleviation and poverty resolution strategies in Sido Sari Village which are carried out by the Village government, so that poverty alleviation is resolved properly.  The implementation of this research uses Qualitative Descriptive observation.  As well as the approach during the implementation in the form of field studies, research was carried out using direct observation in the field in the KKN Program conducted in Sido Sari Village.  The research methods used were interview, observation, field study and documentation.  There are several strategies carried out by the Sido Sari village government in poverty alleviation in Sido Sari village, namely, distributing Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), assistance programs in the form of Food Security Assistance, Providing KIP Assistance (Smart Indonesia Card).

Abstract

This community service is carried out to increase halal certification literacy through a self-declare scheme for Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) in Aceh Tegah Regency. The service team for this activity consisted of one lecturer and three students from the IAIN Takengon Sharia Banking Study Program. Activities will be carried out in May 2024 in Central Aceh Regency. Activities are carried out by providing material presentations on halal certification regulations for MSEs through the self-declare mechanism and the process of registering for halal certification with the self-declare scheme, the criteria for business actors who can participate in self-declare, the documents required for self-declare registration, and the types of products that can be self-declared. Declare. Then, I continued with Role Playing learning to increase the understanding of Food and Beverage Product MSEs regarding halal certification through a self-declare scheme. The activity results show an increase in MSEs' literacy regarding halal certification with the self-declare scheme, which then increases the interest of MSEs in registering their food and beverage products to obtain halal certificates through the self-declare scheme.
