SETARA: Jurnal Studi Gender dan Anak aims to promote scientific publication concern on Gender, Islam, and Social Inclusion, including children’s right protections in its broadest sense covering textual, historical and empirical aspects, both classical/medieval, modern and contemporary periods in the Islamic World and beyond. The journal strives to include significant studies of gender theory and methodology as well as topical matter. This journal encompasses original research articles based on library and/or empirical research and current book reviews in the field of gender and Islam especially on, but not limited to, eight main topics: (1) Gender and Religious Texts (2) Gender and Islamic Law (3) Gender and educations (4) Gender and politics (5) Gender and Economic (6) Gender and Digital humanities, (7) Gender and social inclusion and (8) Children’s right protection It encourages articles that employ a multi-disciplinary approach to those topics. Scholars from any countries and region that are concerned with gender and social inclusion and its manifestation throughout Muslim community can submit their article to SETARA and use this open access journal.

Abstract

This research was based on a phenomenon that went viral on TikTok social media related to sexual harassment by audience members to dangdut singers while dancing. The purpose of the research was to find out how the ethical value of dangdut dancing prevents sexual harassment. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using Emile Durkheim's Anomie theory. Data was collected through informant interviews and relevant literature studies that were analyzed in depth and comprehensively. The results of the research identified 3 classifications of ethical values that must be implemented by a dangdut singer to avoid sexual harassment, namely: (1) Descriptive ethics, adjusting dance moves in accordance with the proportion and essence of the meaning of the verse (not exaggerating), (2) Normative ethics, the singer maintains her exclusivity as a professional singer, and (3) Mataetika ethics, the singer fortifies herself from the seduction or persuasion of the audience. Keywords: Ethical Values, Joget Dangdut, Sexual Harassment Abstrak Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena yang sedang viral di media sosial TikTok terkait aksi pelecehan seksual oknum penonton kepada biduan dangdut saat berjoget. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana nilai etika joget dangdut dalam mencegah aksi pelecehan seksual. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengunakan teori Anomie dari Emile Durkheim. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara informan serta studi pustaka relevan yang dianalisis secara mendalam serta komprehensif. Hasil penelitian teridentifikasi 3 klasifikasi nilai etika yang harus diimplementasikan seorang biduan dangdut agar terhindar dari pelecehan seksual yakni: (1) etika deskriptif, penyesuaian gerakan joget sesuai dengan proporsi dan esensi makna syair (tidak berlebihan), (2) etika normatif, biduan menjaga ekslusifitasnya sebagai seorang penyanyi yang professional, dan (3) etika mataetika, biduan membentengi diri dari aksi rayuan atau bujukan oknum penonton. Abstract

Film is a medium that can offer a unique perspective on various realities around us. Tiger Stripes is a film from Malaysia which tells the story of a teenage girl who experiences physical and emotional changes during puberty in the horror drama genre. This research aims to analyze how gender dynamics and the experience of puberty are represented in films. Through Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis to explore the various meanings behind film visuals and narratives, from the level of denotation, connotation and myth. The research results show that Tiger Stripes not only depicts the biological changes experienced by the main character, but also psychologically in dealing with environmental responses which are socially constructed as gender biased. The use of natural and supernatural elements creates tension between individual identity and normative social expectations. Additionally, Tiger Stripes effectively uses signs to build a narrative that challenges gender stereotypes and puberty in teenage girls. So this gives room for a more complex interpretation of female puberty. This research not only contributes to the understanding of gender representation in the media, but also serves as a medium for criticism of the social norms that shape the identity of teenage girls. Keywords: Exploration, Gender Dynamics, Puberty, Film, Tiger StripesAbstrakFilm merupakan medium yang dapat menawarkan perspektif unik tentang berbagai realitas sekitar kita. Tiger Stripes adalah film asal Malaysia berkisah tentang seorang remaja perempuan yang mengalami perubahan fisik dan emosional selama masa pubertas dalam balutan genre drama horor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana dinamika gender dan pengalaman pubertas direpresentasikan dalam film. Melalui analisis semiotika Roland Barthes untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai makna di balik visual dan narasi film, dari level denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tiger Stripes tidak hanya menggambarkan perubahan biologis yang dialami oleh tokoh utama, tetapi juga psikis dalam menghadapi respon lingkungan yang secara konstruksi sosial digambarkan bias gender. Penggunaan elemen-elemen alam dan supranatural, menghadirkan ketegangan antara identitas individu dan harapan sosial yang normatif. Selain itu, Tiger Stripes secara efektif menggunakan tanda-tanda untuk membangun narasi yang menantang stereotip gender dan pubertas pada remaja perempuan. Sehingga hal tersebut memberi ruang bagi interpretasi yang lebih kompleks tentang pubertas perempuan. Penelitian ini tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman tentang representasi gender dalam media, namun juga menjadi medium kritik terhadap norma-norma sosial yang membentuk identitas perempuan remaja.Keywords: Eksplorasi, Dinamika Gender, Pubertas, Film, Tiger Stripes

Abstract

Islam came as a religion that Rahmatan Lil ‘Aalamiin taught to enjoy the world and what is inside. With the condition that it remains within the limits set by Allah SWT. Islam even requires humans to take advantage of all the good that is provided by God because all that sustains welfare. Islam also does not forbid women of a career but requires that women remain obedient to their gods and messengers and do righteous deeds. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 caused a rapid transformation of social life. Digitalisation of technology cannot be dammed and continues to affect various fields of life. Women must be able to adapt to these conditions, overcome challenges, and take opportunities to play a role in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. President Jokowi and government officials have responded and anticipated this development through policies and budget allocations. HR development was a major factor in achieving the success of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. However, regulations are also needed to support progress while protecting the community. One of them can be through the revision of Law Number 19 Year 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE). In amending the Law various issues related to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 also need to regulate the principle of gender equality and the involvement of women in it.

Abstract

In contrast to the concept of sex (sex) or nature, Gender only contains the functions and social roles of men and women, which are formed from the environment in which a person resides / lives. Thus, the concept of gender is a trait inherent in men and women who are constructed socially and culturally. Abstract

Sumber Daya Alam bawang merah yang melimpah di desa Duwel kurang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Hal itu disebabkan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) masyarakat desa Duwel yang kurang akan pemberdayaan, sehingga bawang merah sebagai hasil panen utama mereka hanya sebatas menanam, panen, dan langsung “diberikan” kepada tengkulak yang memborongnya. Terbelenggunya petani desa Duwel pada tengkulak tersebut merupakan masalah yang cukup menghambat bagi perkembangan desa Duwel, dan peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakatnya. Keadaan ketergantungan terhadap tengkulak ini telah membelenggu mereka, yang berdampak kurang baik pada tingkat kesejahteraan dan kemandirian mereka sebagai masyarakat yang memiliki kekayaan alam melimpah. Bergantungnya petani bawang merah pada tengkulak ini menandakan pola pikir masyarakat yang masih sederhana dan masih berpegang teguh pada cara lama/tradisinonal yang menurut mereka masih efisien serta tak perlu diubah. Pola pikir masyarakat yang demikian itu, tanpa mereka sadari telah menjadi kontribusi dalam kemunduran bidang-bidang seperti agama, pendidikan dan ekonomi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan suatu metode baru yang salah satunya mengadakan pendampingan terhadap masyarakat desa terutama kaum perempuan untuk mengolah bawang merah menjadi produk yang lebih menguntungkan.

Abstract

Abstract : Craft home industry activities making egg containers for the aqiqahevent prove that women can not only play a role in making a living for families but also can create jobs, especially for housewives.The objectives in this research are to find out the role of women in the form of involvement in the handicraft home industry to make egg containers for the aqiqah event.To find out the role of women in the form of outpouring of work in the home-based handicraft industry making egg containers for the aqiqah event. In order to know the role of women in-depth in the home-based industry of handicraft making egg containers, this study uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is a type of field research and is descriptive. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be said that the participation of women in the economic world must be admitted inevitably, despite the fact that there are differences in the emergence of work activities between men and women. It is known that women who support the household economy with the aim of helping their husbands participate in working for a living. The role of women who work for a living to help their household economy, these women have contributed their time and energy to generate wages from the work they do. Women or housewives who work take part in earning an average income due to economic factors. Suggestions that can be given in this study are as follows to women who participated in the work, one of them worked in the home industry in order to improve their skills and be diligent in what they did, so that in the future it is possible to run their own businesses.To the home industry entrepreneurs to pay attention and develop again the quality of the business they run, both in terms of production, packaging and marketing.

Abstract

Wacana pendidikan anak saat ini masih menjadi topik yang ramai diperbincangkan. Salah satunya pendidikan anak berbasis gender. Sebagian cendikiawan menganggap mendidik anak dengan memisahkan gender antara laki-laki dan perempuan merupakan hal tidak adil sehingga menimbulkan diskriminasi perempuan didalamnya. Hal itu menyebabkan munculnya unsur ketidakadilan dalam perlakuan yang dinilai telah merugikan anak. Problem inilah yang menjadikan sebagian para cendikiawan untuk mengadakan penyetaraan gender antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam pendidikan anak sejak dini. Tujuannya untuk mengurangi diskriminasi perempuan dan menjadikan kesetaraan pendidikan Sehingga lahirlah metode pengajaran yang menuntut untuk disamakan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam dunia pendidikan. Namun pada sisi lain, kesetaraan gender ini masih berbenturan dengan konsep fitrah. Dalam konsep fitrah, laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki peran yang berbeda. Perbedaan ini menghasilkan nilai dan hasil yang berbeda satu sama lain. Sehingga membutuhkan perlakuan yang berbeda dibeberapa aspek pendidikan. Diberbagai aspek, pendidikan anak berbasis gender ditetapkan sebagai elemen dasar yang membentuk karakter anak. Maka, dibutuhkan suatu bentuk metode pengajaran yang mengarah secara langsung pada pembentukan karakter tersebut.

Abstract

Abstrak Bersamaan dengan berkembangnya peradaban dan kebudayaan manusia membuat jarak cukup lebar bagi manusia dan alam bersinergi. Dalam kajian lingkungan kontemporer saat ini, sudah bukan barang langka kita mendapati informasi mengenai kerusakan lingkungan yang arahnya membimbing kita pada pemahaman mengenai degradasi ekologis yang sedang dialami planet ini. Bersatunya agenda-agenda besar keagamaan dan politik dapat membangun identitas ekologis yang berusaha mememperbaiki hubungan alam dan manusia. Agama mempunyai seperangkat nilai dalam mengelola, memelihara, dan memperlakukan alam yang tidak dapat dipungkiri kebenarannya. Selanjutnya, identitas ekologis dapat dibangun salah satunya melalui pendidikan. Di dalam upaya memecahkan masalah krisis ekologi dunia, perspektif ekofeminis tidak dapat ditinggalkan begitu saja, mengingat semakin masifnya diskriminasi dan dominansi. Perbincangan mengenai relasi nilai-nilai Islam terhadap alam yang terpancar melalui pendidikan Islam berwawasan lingkungan dan ekofeminisme diharapkan dapat menghasilkan langkah-langkah strategis untuk menyelesaikan krisis ekologi yang menjunjung tinggi keadilan dan humanisme. Abstract

Marriage counseling is counseling held as an educational method, a method of reducing emotional tension, a method of helping married partners to solve problems and how to determine a better problem solving pattern. The problem of family relations needs to be dealt with properly and effectively, through therapeutic models and techniques. One therapy effort that can be done with marriage counseling. Divorcement is a very unwanted event for every couple and family. Divorcement that occurred caused a lot of unpleasant things and pain that was felt by all parties, including both partners, children, and the two extended families of the couple. There are many factors that require couples to separate or divorce. One reason for divorced couples is a communication problem. The writing of this paper uses a social psychology approach with qualitative data analysis techniques.

Abstract

This study discusses the position of women in the criminal justice system focusing on their position as victims using a normative juridical approach. The results of the study describe that the Indonesian criminal justice system uses the Due Process Model (DPM) model and overrides the Crime Control Model (CCM). Where the position of female victims in the criminal justice system is at the level relating to compensation and rehabilitation as well as the merger of the lawsuit for compensation which is regulated in Chapter XII of the Criminal Procedure Code. Factors That Affect Legal Protection of Women Victims in the Criminal Justice System namely, the lack of Human Resources in related institutions, related to legal apparatus in related agencies and inadequate Infrastructure. The conclusion of this research is that women still need more attention in the Indonesian criminal justice system, especially women victims, as well as initiatives from policy makers to accommodate women victims of crime as parties who suffer and are harmed because they have nothing to do and not in the context of the existence and legal position of victims as the party who suffers and is harmed because of a violation of criminal law and becomes part of the criminal law.
