Abstract

In the ever-growing digital era, online sales applications have become an important solution for various types of businesses, including camera shops. This research aims to develop a sales application that makes it easier for customers to carry out transactions and makes it easier for shop owners to manage inventory and product marketing. This application is designed with main features such as product catalogs, search and filters, shopping baskets, promo notifications, as well as reviews and ratings from users. With the aim of improving the shopping experience, this application is expected to increase sales and customer loyalty. However, challenges such as intense competition, data security and quality of customer service need to be overcome to achieve success. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to the development of the camera shop business in the digital era.

Abstract

Sales transaction applications are a solution commonly used in the business world to simplify the process of recording and managing transactions. In the context of a visual programming course, this application serves as a learning tool for applying programming concepts based on an interactive graphical interface. This article discusses the development of sales transaction applications using visual programming languages, focusing on the use of graphical components such as input forms, data tables, and action buttons. Users can perform various activities, including entering item data, recording sales, calculating total prices, and generating transaction reports. The application development process includes interface design, transaction logic processing, and the implementation of a data storage system. The results of this application help students understand workflows in creating desktop-based software and deepen their understanding of basic visual programming concepts involving user interfaces and system interactions.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged digitalization in various sectors, including the pharmaceutical industry. This research aims to develop a Visual Studio 2022-based pharmacy management application that can increase the efficiency and accuracy of pharmacy data management, including drug data, sales transactions and stock. The research methodology uses a software engineering approach which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance stages. This application is designed with an intuitive and responsive user interface using the C++ programming language and a SQL Server database for data management. Application test results show optimal performance in supporting pharmacy business processes, such as stock management, transaction recording and automatic reporting. The conclusion of this research is that the application developed is able to provide an effective and efficient solution to overcome challenges in managing traditional pharmacies. Further development is needed to integrate the application with electronic payment systems and telemedicine features to improve overall pharmacy services.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have opened up great opportunities to increase efficiency and smooth operations in various sectors, including grocery stores. However, many grocery stores still use manual, error-prone, and time-consuming methods for managing inventory and recording sales transactions. To overcome this problem, a grocery store merchandising application was developed and interacted with a database using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server. This application was designed to meet the needs of store owners, cashiers and customers. The main features developed include product management, inventory management, sales transactions, and sales reporting. Interface design using Windows Forms by prioritizing usability and data security. The design process involves several stages: user needs analysis, database design, feature implementation, testing, and refinement. The result of this design is a desktop application that can improve operational efficiency in grocery stores by providing faster and more accurate inventory and transaction management and reporting. real-time to support business decisions. Therefore, it is hoped that this application can be an effective solution for grocery stores to face operational obstacles in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effect of promotion on purchasing behavior of Make Over brand makeup products among students of the Department of Cosmetology and Beauty at Padang State University. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a correlational design. Data were collected through a Likert Scale-based questionnaire distributed online, with a proportional sampling technique. Validity and reliability tests were conducted using SPSS, followed by product moment correlation analysis to test the relationship between variables. The results showed that the promotion carried out by the Make Over company had an average score of 73.17%, while the purchasing behavior of students had an average score of 69.18%, both of which were in the moderate category. Correlation analysis shows a significant relationship between promotion and purchasing behavior with a correlation value of r = 0.602. Hypothesis testing confirms that promotion has a significant effect on purchasing behavior (t count = 8.617> t table = 2.000). This study confirms the importance of the right promotional strategy in influencing consumer behavior, as well as the need for students to consider rational factors in purchasing cosmetic products to maximize their use.

Abstract

The development of the retail business is growing rapidly in today’s digital era, driven by advances in information technology that provide great opportunities to continue to innovate. Sales management is one of the important elements to ensure operations run smoothly, especially in the perfume sales business that requires proper data management. However, many small businesses still rely on manual record-keeping, which is prone to human error. As a solution to overcome these challenge, a simple computer-based cashier system is needed that is able to record automatically and maintain the availability of goods to be more accurate. This research develops a perfume sales cashier application with Microsoft Visual Studio with the support of MySQL and XAMPP as a database that provides convenience. Hopefully, the development of this application will be a practical solution that supports the sustainability of small businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a train ticketing system based on Visual Basic integrated with a database to enhance efficiency and accuracy in ticket booking management. The system is designed to simplify the ticket booking process, centralize data storage, and streamline information management. The development methodology includes system requirements analysis, user interface design, and database implementation using Microsoft Access as the data storage medium. The system was tested using black-box testing to evaluate its functionality and reliability. The test results show that the system effectively manages ticket booking data, reduces input errors, and provides users with easy access. With stable database integration, this system is expected to support improved services in the railway transportation industry.

Abstract

This research presents the development of a sales data management system application for desktop-based flower shops. In the context of an ever-evolving business, florists face challenges in managing transactions and inventory manually, which often results in inefficiencies and errors. Therefore, this research aims to design and implement an application that can simplify the management process. The application is designed with an intuitive user interface and uses Microsoft SQL Server as the database. Through functional and performance testing, the application demonstrated its ability to record transactions, manage stock, and generate sales reports in real-time. The results of this study are expected to improve the operational efficiency of flower shops and provide a solid basis for better decision-making.

Abstract

Manual management of vape stores often faces challenges in recording inventory and transactions, leading to data errors and operational inefficiencies. This research aims to develop a vape store management application using Visual Studio with a MySQL Server database to optimize product data and sales transaction management. The system development method follows the waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The application was developed using Visual Basic.NET and MySQL Server, featuring key functionalities such as product master management, automated sales transaction modules, and sales reporting based on specific periods. Testing results show that the application functions optimally in managing inventory and generating accurate sales reports. The implementation of this application improves the operational efficiency of vape stores by reducing recording errors and speeding up customer service.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of digital-based cake sales applications among MSME business actors. Using qualitative research methods and case study approaches, this study involves in-depth interviews with 10-15 business actors. Data was collected through interview guides designed to explore respondents' experiences and perceptions regarding the challenges and benefits of using the app in running their business. Data analysis is carried out with a thematic analysis approach, resulting in key themes related to the impact of the application on operational efficiency and customer interaction. The findings of the study show that cake sales applications not only improve the efficiency of the ordering process but also expand market reach for business actors. This research provides recommendations for application developers to continue to innovate based on user feedback to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
