Abstract

The problem in this study is that the perfume sales information system that is being used to manage sales data, inventory of goods, and payments is still conventional, namely using a manual bookkeeping system, where operational activities have not used available computer technology or devices. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to design and develop perfume sales applications using visual studio at Galaxy Parfum Shop. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and literature review. The result of the system created is a perfume sales application that can run well and be implemented. This application is able to provide stock information in real time, manage payments at the cashier, and print notes automatically after payment is made. In conclusion, this application can improve the efficiency of sales management, minimize recording errors, and speed up the transaction process at Toko Galaxy Parfum.

Abstract

In the context of rapid digitalization, many cafes, including Cafe Casa n Co Sub, face challenges in managing transactions that are still carried out manually, which is at high risk of recording errors and service delays. This research aims to develop a digital cashier application that can improve operational efficiency and recording accuracy in the café. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. This data was collected through in-depth interviews with café owners and staff, direct observation of the operational process, and analysis of related documents. Techniques in data analysis are carried out thematically to identify patterns and provide recommendations for improvement. The results of the study show that the application of information technology in the form of a cashier application can support the management of cafes more professionally and efficiently.

Abstract

The maternal and child mortality rate (AKI-AKB) is an important indicator in determining the level of welfare of a country. A resilient health system plays an important role in reducing AKI-AKB. Such as the provision of universal access to essential health services, training of medical personnel focused on maternal and child health, and technology-based data management have been proven to support the reduction of these numbers in various countries. This research uses a qualitative method that is a literature study, namely a study that uses books and other literature as the main object. The data collection technique was carried out by examining literature sources from academic databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Indonesian journal portals, and academic reference books. The results of the study show that the results of the maternal mortality rate (AKI) and infant mortality rate (AKB) in Indonesia in 2022 and 2023. In 2022, the maternal mortality rate was recorded at 4,005 people, while the infant mortality rate reached 20,882 people. However, in 2023, the maternal mortality rate increased to 4,129 people, and the infant mortality rate also increased significantly to 29,945 people. This increase shows a major challenge in Indonesia's health system, despite the fact that various programs have been implemented to reduce maternal and child mortality. In conclusion, government programs, such as family planning, reproductive health services, emergency obstetric services, and postpartum care, demonstrate strategic efforts in preventing complications and reducing maternal and infant mortality. With an integrated and sustainable approach, this effort is expected to be able to significantly reduce AKI and AKB.

Abstract

The development of the coffee shop industry requires technological support to enhance efficiency in daily operations. Coffee shops often face challenges in managing transactions and sales reports, which are still performed manually, leading to potential errors and time inefficiencies. This research aims to design a Visual Basic-based application as an effective solution for recording transactions, monitoring orders, managing menus, and generating sales reports. The application development follows the waterfall methodology, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the developed application effectively improves the operational efficiency of coffee shops by speeding up transaction processes, reducing recording errors, and providing accurate sales reports. Additionally, the interface is designed to be simple and user-friendly, allowing employees to use the application without requiring technical expertise. By implementing this application, coffee shops can manage their business effectively, support strategic decision-making, and enhance service quality for customers.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a shoe sales application at Alcin Shoe Shop using visual studio. This application is designed to be able to improve management efficiency, speed up transactions, and generate automatic sales reports. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the developed application successfully overcomes operational management problems and increases customer satisfaction. In conclusion, this application is an effective solution to increase the competitiveness of shoe stores in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a desktop-based computer store application called "Onestop Komputer" using Visual Basic and MySQL by implementing CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functions to support effective store data management. This application is designed to overcome the constraints of manual data management that is time-consuming and prone to errors, especially in recording transactions and inventory. The research method includes the needs analysis stage, system design using the Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) model, application coding with Visual Studio using the Visual Basic language, and integration with the MySQL database. The data was tested using a functionality test to ensure that the CRUD feature runs as expected. The results of the study show that this application is able to facilitate the management of goods, customers, and sales and purchase transaction data with a simple and easy-to-use interface. In conclusion, the "Onestop Komputer" application has succeeded in becoming an efficient solution in supporting computer store operations, especially in digital data management.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, online sales applications have become essential solutions for various businesses, including camera stores. This study aims to develop a sales application that facilitates customer transactions while providing convenience for store owners in managing inventory and marketing products. The application is designed with key features such as a product catalog, search and filter options, a shopping cart, promotional notifications, and user reviews and ratings. Aiming to enhance the shopping experience, the application is expected to boost sales and customer loyalty. However, challenges such as intense competition, data security, and customer service quality must be addressed to achieve success. The findings of this study are anticipated to contribute positively to the development of camera store businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of a furniture sales application using Visual Basic addresses inefficiencies in traditional sales systems, such as errors in manual transactions and challenges in managing inventory and customer data. The objective of this study is to create a practical, user-friendly application to improve operational processes and support small and medium-sized businesses. The application was developed using Visual Basic within Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, with MySQL as the database and phpMyAdmin for database management. The methodology included designing a system to manage product inventory, customer data, and sales transactions while integrating a reporting feature. Data collection involved analyzing existing sales systems, while data analysis focused on usability testing and performance evaluation. Key findings indicate that the application enhances efficiency by reducing transaction errors, simplifying inventory management, and enabling store owners to monitor sales trends effectively through automated reports. The application also improves user experience by offering a simple and intuitive interface for daily operations. In conclusion, the developed furniture sales application provides a robust solution for small and medium enterprises, supporting better business management, minimizing human errors, and increasing productivity.

Abstract

Based on the research we have carried out on the development of Hotel Booking Applications based on Visual Studio and MySQL database, especially in creating user and user-oriented applications. This application is designed to provide a user friendly interface, so that it can make it easier for users to make hotel reservations. The application development process involves several database structures to manage hotel booking information, employee data, room data, guest data, check in and check out, as well as logic programming in the application for data processing. The results of developing this application are expected to provide satisfaction to users and users who have used the hotel booking application and show the level of user satisfaction in the speed of the hotel booking process.

Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient and accurate management in petshop operations has highlighted the limitations of traditional methods. This study aims to develop and evaluate a digital solution, "Pet-Tacular," designed to optimize inventory management, transaction processing, and sales reporting using Visual Studio. The application was developed using a VB.NET framework and was tested with a sample of typical petshop operational scenarios, focusing on functionality, user interface simplicity, and real-time inventory accuracy. Data collection involved user testing and feedback, while analysis emphasized system performance and user satisfaction. Results indicate that "Pet-Tacular" significantly enhances operational efficiency by providing real-time stock monitoring, seamless transaction management, and automated report generation. The intuitive interface ensures ease of use, even for users with minimal technical expertise. The findings confirm that the application effectively addresses operational challenges in petshops, contributing to improved service quality and customer satisfaction. This study concludes that integrating technology into petshop operations offers substantial benefits and supports the transition to a more organized, efficient, and competitive business model.
