Libraria: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi is a journal for library and information science initiated by FPPTI (Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum ) Central Java, published twice annually in June and December. Libraria: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi welcomes the submission of research, theory, and practice papers relevant to library and information science. The article will be reviewed by the editors and reviewers who are competent in the related field. The review uses double-blind peer review before the journal is published. The journal will publish a selected paper under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Abstract

This paper aims to offer a methodological framework for the study of resistance of female readers of the chick lit novel on Wattpad. It is hoped that the methodological framework will become the basis for other re- searchers to continue to research. An example of the object of study is the novel Prejudice meets Pride with the production of literary works and various genres. The critical contextualist approach was conceptualized by the author to examine resistance, focus on context, and with dialogic validity whose characteristics include truthfulness, self reflexivity, and polivocality.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertemakan relasi membaca dan pengetahuan, dimaksud- kan sebagai upaya mendeskrispikan keterkaitan yang perlu dipahami antara keduanya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan grounded theory yang mengambil pemikiran beberapa tokoh dekonstruksi yang membicarakan pemak- naan teks yang berkelanjutan. Adapun hasil kajian ini adalah bahwa teks dan pengetahuan adalah sebuah satu kesatuan, sementara menulis adalah salah satu bagian dari metode internaslisasi substansi dari teks maupun pengetahuan itu sendiri.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Library promotion aims to communicate the products owned by the library to the public. It is hoped that the public will be interested in utilizing these products in fulfilling the needs of information. This study evaluates the promotions that have been carried out by the library of Muhammadiyah University of Magelang (UNIMMA) by using descriptive qualitative methods. The result shows that the promotions have not reached all academicians, especially in utilizing the UNIMMA digital library. User education for new students and more interesting promotional content are required.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Librarians, as information’s manager, must be able to take advantage of all available sources of information, both printed and electronic, relevant and uptodate present information. They have to be able serve information to the academic community in both printed and/or electroric documents. Information about scientific papers produced by IPB University Lecture or researcher are very important and o fcourse useful for the progress of research in the future. One of the tools to determine the development of research that has been carried out by IPB University lecturers or to examine the trend researchs is scopus .com. The purpose of this study is to determine the profile of IPB University Lecturers’s scientific paper indexed by scopus until 2021. In this study, will be presented information and analysis of documents based on subject, documents by author, by years, by country or territory and based on funding sponsors. The method used in this study is a review analysis of the subscribed scopus databased at the IPB University Library. The analysys showed that agricultural and biological science, occupied the top rank with 3674 documents, followed by environmental sciences with 3038 documents. Documents basen on subjec area, occupy by environmental sciences with score 23, 8%. Document by type is Articles that occupied the top rank, with score 50,6%. Abstract

ABSTRACT It is motivated by the desire to see the characteristics of journals, by comparing one journal with another that has the same subject. BACA and Khizanah Al Hikmah (KAH) both focus on the field of libraries, documentation with SINTA 2 accreditation. A bibliometric analysis of BACA and KAH is carried out with the aim of knowing: 1) Number of published articles; 2) The pattern of authorship of each journal; 3) Degree of collaboration; 4) The most prolific writer; 5) Gender of the author; 6) Writers from universities and other institutions; 7) Author's city; 9) Research topics based on the author's keywords. The data sources analyzed are accessed from: https://jurnalbaca.pdii.lipi.go.id/index.php/baca/issue/archive for the BACA journal and the website: http://journal.uin-alauddin.ac.id/ index.php/khizanah-al-hikmah for the journal KAH. The data recorded is the number of articles, name, gender, agency, city where the author works, and keywords. Furthermore, the data is processed using a frequency distribution in percentages, and presented in tabular form, for analysis and discussion, as well as conclusions. The result of the research is that the BACA journal published 60 articles, written by 56 men and 51 women. KAH published 57 articles written by 61 men and 60 women. Articles written by two authors, both on BACA (31.67%), and KAH (31.57%) are both the most common articles. The degree of collaboration between BACA authors was 0.73 and KAH 0.71, indicating that the authors collaborated more than individual authors. The University of Indonesia and UIN Allaudin are the universities that contribute the most to BACA and KAH. LIPI is the institution in first place for both BACA and KAH respectively 14 times (70%), and 11 times (61%). Jakarta is the largest city for both BACA and KAH. Most of the research topics are about academic library for BACA and Bibliometric for KAH. It is concluded that when viewed from the degree of collaboration, the two journals have a balanced number of collaborating authors.Keywords: Author collaboration;Journals;Degrre of collaboration

Abstract

Layanan e-resources merupakan layanan yang menyediakan bahan pustaka dalam bentuk digital dapat di akses melalui perangkat elektronik dengan bantuan internet. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat memahami dan mengetahui pemanfaatan layanan e-resources di pusat perpustakaan IAIN Tulungagung pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin adab Dan dakwah angkatan 2017. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, penelitian ini hanya mendeskripsikan data yang ada. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab Dan Dakwah angkatan 2017 dengan jumlah sampel 82 mahasiswa. Tekhnik untuk pengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi kuesioner (angket), observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan layanan e-resources pada pusat perpustakaan IAIN Tulungagung pada masa pandemi Covid-19 berada pada kategori cukup barmanfaat dengan rata-rata 2.51. Pada tingkat pemanfaatan koleksi e-resources perpustakaan IAIN Tulungagung ditengah pandemi Covid-19 ini di ketegori pemanfaatan cukup baik, koleksi E-Journal E-Book Dan Repositori sesuai dengan minat, kebutuhan dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bacaan, refrensi maupun rujukan. Selanjutnya pada faktor kendala dalam pemanfaatan layanan e-resources, seperti keterbatasan dalam jaringan, kesulitan dalam download, penggunaan bahasa asing,dan kesulitan akses dari aplikasi maupun website tidak menjadi kendala dalam pemanfaatan layanan e-resources pusat perpustakaan IAIN Tulungagung dalam masa pandemi Covid-19. Pada faktor pendukung pemanfaatan layanan e-resources pusat perpustakaan IAIN Tulungagung dalam ketegori sangat bermanfaat, karena layanan e-resources yang disediakan oleh perpustakaan IAIN Tulungagung dapat diakses secara murah dan gratis sesuai dan kebutuhan ditengah pandemic Covid-19. Abstract

The corona virus restrain the movement of people. Higher education has also been affected, especially academics. The repository as a data provider is expected to be a solution to data provider problems during the pandemic. This study aims to analyze whether the repository of scientific papers has an effect on improving the scientific work of medical academics or not. This study uses a quantitative method with a bibliometric approach. The sample of this study is the repository of scientific papers at Gadjah Mada University. The sample is divided into two, scientific papers contain the keyword "medical", and the keyword "nutrition". Samples were analyzed based on 2 criteria, the number of publications and study programs at most contributed papers with the keywords above. The study results show that the repository of scientific papers does not cause an increase in the number of repositories, but causes a decrease. One of the things is due to social restrictions that reduce the space for academics to move, especially in access to facilities that are usually provided by the campus. Both in terms of "medical" and "nutrition" has decreased. In addition, this study also found that non-medical fields of study also have the largest repository in library databases.

Abstract

The research in this paper aims to find out how the form of the role of knowledge dissemination can be carried out by the information retrieval Sapa Pustakawan service to the users at the IAIN Kudus Library. This research was conducted with a descriptive research approach . The data collection method used in this study is through the observation method and is supported by data collection through the library research method. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the findings of observations in the field with the theories obtained in the library research method, then synthesis was carried out to find a concept. The results of this study indicate that the form of the role of knowledge dissemination that can be carried out by the Sapa Pustakawan service at the IAIN Kudus Library is 1.) being able to provide knowledge to users to have the ability to search for correct information in print and digitally/online. 2.) able to provide knowledge to users about how to utilize and use reference manager tools applications such as Zotero or Mendeley applications. 3) able to provide knowledge to users to have the ability to avoid plagiarism of scientific work. In this study, it was also known that due to the uncontrolled covid-19 pandemic, the IAIN Kudus Library took a policy to further simplify the role of the Sapa Pustakawan service. The Sapa Pustakawan service only serves the search for sources of information needed by users through a telegram social media group.

Abstract

Information literacy is an essential ability that a person needs to sort information amid the flow of information development. Information literacy is a set of capabilities that help identify data and are valuable for consideration and decision making. This study aims to complete the previous research gap by examining the formulation of strategies, efforts, and implementation of improving information literacy skills through training. The method used in this study is a systematic literature review with details of the identification of research questions and limitations, strategies and determination of search terms, and selection of criteria to assess the quality of research. Based on the findings of scientific papers in this study, 2017 and 2018 were the years of publication of the most information literacy scientific works, namely 3 (three) scientific works. Furthermore, the most widely used information literacy model in research is The Big6 model; there are 5 (five) articles where the majority discuss several things regarding its implementation, including helping in identifying the information needed, helping in selecting and comparing relevant information. To discussions, introducing the Online Public Access Catalog, helping teach information literacy related to naming information sources, and assisting in finding information and evaluating information and resources critically. Challenges in improving information literacy skills include ICT, information explosion, and information literacy skills. Abstract

The Sumedang Larang Palace Library has a collection for the advancement of Sundanese culture and limited human resources are a critical threat to the organization. This research needs to be done to find out individual knowledge that becomes organizational knowledge, so it is necessary to conduct knowledge management research at the Sumedang Larang Palace Library. This study aims to identify the implementation of knowledge management in the Sumedang Larang Palace Library. The results show that the management of the library at the Sumedang Larang Palace Library is still simple. Tacit knowledge is stored by the library manager and has not been documented as explicit knowledge. This study provides several recommendations for the management of the Sumedang Larang Palace Library.
