Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of contextual teaching and learning approach to Learning Outcomes of the Operation of Calculating Round Numbers in in primary schools. The research type is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sample of research is students of class VB and VC SDN 23 Marapalam city of Padang. Sampling using purporsive sampling technique. The instrument used is an objective test in the form of multiple choice. Data analysis technique using t-test. The result of research shows that there is influence of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to Calculating Operations of Round Numbers learning outcomes in primary school. Evident from the acquisition of tcount (3.04)> ttable (1.99). This shows the Calculating Operations of Round Numbers learning outcomes result of the two classes differ significantly. The average posttest of the experimental class applying the learning approach of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is 81.03 higher than the control class that apply conventional learning that is 71,62.  Keywords: CTL approach, learning outcomes.PENGARUH PENDEKATANCTL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR OPERASI HITUNG CAMPURAN BILANGAN BULAT DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop mathematics teaching materials based on CTL class IV KD 3.1 and 3.2 Curriculum 2013 which are valid, practical and effective. This type of research is development research that refers to the model proposed by Branch with the analysis phase, design, develop, implementation and evaluation. This research was conducted in Class IVa 15 Ulu Gadut elementary school with a total of 25 students. The results of the validation of teaching materials by the three validators reached a very valid category. The average practicality test of the teacher's response questionnaire is 96.4% with a very practical category. The average practicality test of the response questionnaire of students is 96% with a very practical category. The results of the average effectiveness test seen from the increase in completeness of students reached 84%. This indicates that teaching materials developed are effective because ≥75% of students experience an increase in their learning outcomes. It can be concluded that mathematics teaching materials based on CTL class IV KD 3.1 and 3.2 2013 curriculum are valid, practical and effective

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes on Citizenship Education (PKn) subjects using the Think Pair Share (TPS) model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a non equivalent control group design. The sample in the study was Class VA and VB of SDN 18 Pudung. Data collection techniques use tests and observation sheets. Hypothesis testing in this study using the t-test formula. Based on the calculation of the t test (t-test) on the posttest results, the results of tcount = 6.34 and ttable = 1.66 at the significant level α = 0.05 of 1.66, then tcount> ttable. This means there is a significant effect on student learning outcomes using the TPS model. Keywords: Think Pair Share (TPS), PKn, learning outcomes Abstract
