Abstract

Student's skills in playing talempong very low. This is because teachers are too dominant in the learning activities. In addition, the authors also look at the problems that occur from the aspect of the students during the learning process of music playing talempong students simply imitate the teacher. So that students can not express themselves through the art of learning to play music talempong. Through research conducted using Quantum teaching strategies can enhance students' ability to play a musical instrument talempong .. The results based on observations of teacher activity increased from the level of success both in the first cycle to be very good on the second cycle. Student activity also increased in the first cycle degree of success considerably increased in the second cycle to be very good. Of assessment in the first cycle with the average value was 68.2 students and an increase in the second cycle with the average value is 85.5 students. In addition it also increases the learning process, students are skilled in playing a musical instrument talempong. It can be concluded by using Quantum Teaching strategies improve students' skills in playing musical instruments in the fourth grade talempong District 04 District Baso Salasa Tangah Agam District. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes in the material multipication and division of fraction in class V Elementary School. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were class V students of SDN 01 Maninjau . With the simple purposive sampling technique, the Va class was obtained as the experimental class and Vb as the control class. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test, obtained tcount = 3,8633 and ttable = 1.68595 at a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 38. It means tcount> ttable so that Ha is accepted. Therefore, there is a positive and significant effect on the Problem Based Learning learning model on learning outcomes in the material multiplication and division of fractions in class V Elementary School.

Abstract

This research is executed because student writing narration skill is low. This research aim to increase student writing narration skill. This research use to approach qualitative in the form of description about behavior to able to perceive, and quantitative approach in the form of reached result after study process. This research is conducted in two cycle that is cycle of I twice cycle and meeting of II counted once meeting. Student writing narration skill at cycle of I generally is still lower. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the research is to know the effect of demonstration methods on student IPA learning outcomes. The research was a quasi eksperimen design types non-equivalent control group design. The population was all student class V the SDN Gugus 1 Kec. Sungai Pua Kab. Agam. Taking technique of sample was purposive sampling. The sample of this research was student class VA and VB SDN 14  Simpang Ampek. Based on the analisys, obtained tcount>ttable was 3,0138  > 2,0211 with significant level α = 0,05 so it can be conclude Ha accepted  that there is an affect of the demonstration method on the learning outcomes of students in the class V SDN Gugus 1 Kec. Sungai Pua Kab. Agam. Keywords: Demonstration Method, Learning Outcome IPA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning process  using the Cooperative type Make A Match model in class IV SDN 19 ATTS  Bukittinggi  . The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of research showed the increasing on: a) the score oh the lesson plan in cycle I was 91.25% (SB), cycle II 97,5% (SB); b) aspect observation of teacher cycle I 81.25% (B), cycle II 92,5% (SB); c) aspects  observation of student cycle I students 81,25% (B) and the second cycle II 92,5% (SB). So, Cooperative Learning Type Make a Match Model  can improve student learning process in integrated thematic learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement student learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning by using Problem Based learning model at Grade IV SDN 05 Puhun Pintu Kabun Bukittinggi city. Type of the research is classroom action research  by using qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of the research were teacher and 27 grade IV students. Therefore, the Problem Based Learning model could improve the students learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning. The results of lesson plan observation on cycle I was 80.55%, and cycle II was 94.44%. The observation of teacher on cycle I was 79,69% and cycle II was 90.63%. While, the improvement of students aspect on cycle I was 76,58% and cycle II was 90,63%. While the average student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect is 75.87 to 88.62, and in the skill aspect it gets an average of 83.33 to 92.21

Abstract

This research aims to develop thematic learning media using theapplication Macromedia Flash.Learning media that is more varied and interesting by combining folklore with positive moral values and developed through applications that are easy to use with the help of the latest technology according to the times. This research was conducted on students in grade IV SDN 48 Ganting, using the development method of the 4D model ( define , design, development  and  dessiminate).Based on the results of research that has been done, it is stated that the media are considered valid by the material experts and media experts. The results of the assessment questionnaire by the two experts showed a very valid media category with a total score of both (92.72%). After the assessment by the two media experts was judged to be very practical based on the results of the student response questionnaire, learning was considered very interesting when using media. The results of student responses obtained data of 19 students with a total value of 96%. In addition to student responses stating that this media is very practical, from the teacher's response to the number of school grades 95%. After distributing the questionnaire to the first school, the distribution of media was carried out at the next school, so it was also stated that learning media using macromedia flash  was very practical with an acquisition of 89%. Based on the assessment of the questionnaires distributed states that the media is very practical and valid for instilling positive character in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the objective of this study is the increase in the Student Learning Outcomes Learning IPS using Cooperative Learning Model type rattling. Learning Outcomes meeting first cycle I with an average of 65.86 and a second the first cycle with an average of 76.33, while the end of the second cycle test student increased to 82.43. Abstract

This study aimed to know the improvement of student’s learning outcomes by using Problem Solving models in the grade fourth of Elementary Schools number 09 Bandar Buat Padang. The type of this study was classroom action research with kuantitative and kualitative approaches. The subjects of this study were the teachers and the students of grade fourth. The result showed: the implementation of lesson plan in cycle I B was good, cycle II SB was very good, because the lesson plan filled the criterias. The assessment of teacher’ aspects in cycle I B was good, cycle II SB was very good, because it applied based on the lesson plan and the steps of Problem Solving models. The assessment of students’ aspects in cycle I B was good, cycle II SB was very good, because it applied based on the lesson plan and the steps of Problem Solving models.The assessment of attitude aspects in cycle I was good, cycle II  was very good, because students showed positive attitude based on KI-1 and KI-2. The assessment of knowledge aspects in cycle I was good, cycle II was very good, because students could solve the problem. The assessment of skills aspects in cycle I was good, cycle II was very good, because students could do skills based on categories. In the conclusion, Problem Solving models can improve of student’s learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning.

Abstract

abstracThe aim of this research was to improve the integrated thematic learning by using PBL model on My Environment topic in grade IV of SD Negeri 01 Pauh Kuraitaji Kota Pariman. The subject of the research was teacher and 17 student. The result of the research was the cycle I to cycle II, the score oh the Lesson Plan Increased from 80.4% to 90.8%, the students aspect increased from 80.4% to 92.8%.     Key Terms: thematic learning process, Problem Based     Learning
