Abstract

This study investigates patient safety culture in hospitals, highlighting its role in protecting patients from preventable harm through a culture of safety. Effective patient safety culture involves collaboration, open communication, and strong leadership support but faces challenges like resource limitations and inconsistent staff training. This study uses Primaya Hospital Semarang as a case example to examine how current safety practices align with quality improvement goals. A mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews with 169 staff members, used AHRQ’s safety culture survey to analyze teamwork, staffing, communication, and management support, identifying areas for targeted improvement. Key findings include that organizational learning and continuous improvement received the highest positive response (86.17%), followed by teamwork (83.43%) and communication about error (76.57%). However, staffing and work pace was notably weak, with only 48.08% positive responses. In interviews, a strong no-blame culture was emphasized for managing errors, although communication improvements were frequently suggested. Additionally, while routine error reporting was common, gaps in follow-up actions were noted, indicating areas for ongoing enhancement in patient safety practices.

Abstract

Success in implementing a project often hinges on thorough planning and effective control. This study examines the infrastructure development project at SMK Negeri 1 Garut (DOOM), applying the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) to estimate project completion time, costs, probability, and potential planning alternatives. The goal is to achieve maximum efficiency and project success. The research began by determining the activities, their sequence, and duration using the PERT and CPM methods, with POM QM as the data processing tool. Based on the PERT method, the estimated project duration is 128 days with a 50% probability. The critical path, identified through the CPM method, includes activities B through P and predicts a project time of 116 days with a 0.13% probability. Additionally, Crashing the project reduces the time to 97 days, with a minuscule probability of 3.095359E-15. The probability of meeting the contract deadline of 126 days is 31%. To achieve a 95% probability, the project time extends to 130 days with an acceleration cost of IDR 2,575,898,910.73. The study suggests that when making addendums, companies should not only focus on cost changes but also consider adjustments to project timelines to meet the expected deadlines. It is recommended that companies incorporate CPM and PERT as alternative planning methods to select the most optimal cost-effective approach for project acceleration, thereby minimizing the risk of financial losses.

This plant has long been known as a medicinal plant in several regions in Southeast Asia. However, this plant is still not widely known by people in various parts of the world, the number of studies that examine this plant is still relatively small, and ethnobotanical discussions about this plant are difficult to find. This study aims to provide a review of the current ethnobotanical status of Michelia alba in Java, Indonesia, which includes its biological profile, role in Javanese customs, related myths, and scientific review in terms of its pharmacological activity. The results of the ethnobotanical study revealed that this plant is fairly unique because it is often associated with magical things and is very closely related to various cultural practices of the Javanese indigenous people (kejawen). Scientifically, the results of research prove that the M. alba plant does contain various chemical constituents that have many benefits. The pharmacological activities of M. alba reported include anti-cancer, antistress, anti-fungal, antioxidant, skin protection, and effective in killing Trypanosoma parasites.

Abstract

In this day and age, it is very difficult to find food that is rich in nutrients and nutritious, one of the foods that is rich in nutrients can be a typical Betawi food, namely putu mayang cake. If innovated with brown rice, putu mayang cake will be more nutritious and have a lot of nutrients. As well as the nutrition and nutritional content of brown rice, putu mayang cake will look more nutritious and rich in nutrients. Experimental research on the manufacture of putu mayang involves the division of research subjects or objects into control groups and treatment groups, where the treatment group is subjected to certain treatments while the control group is not. This research aims to uncover the Utilization of Brown Rice as a Fortification of Putu Mayang. This study uses an experimental design with a variation of the addition of brown rice as an addition to fortification in the manufacture of putu mayang. This variation was carried out to determine the effect of the addition of brown rice on the fortification of putu mayang cake making. The data from the organoleptic test results include aspects of taste, color, and texture aroma with the use of brown rice flour. The power test of the level of favorability or hedonic test was carried out on the panelists, which amounted to 30 people. Based on the results of consumer acceptance, consumers accept a variety of wheat flour mixtures with different levels, this is due to the large nutritional content possessed by brown rice flour, but the taste of Putu Mayang is not so disturbed, it's just that the texture is a little hard because the more brown rice flour content is included, the less coarse the texture will be.

The subjects in this study are honorary employees who work in government agencies of the Special Region of Yogyakarta with a sample of 104 people. The data collection technique carried out in this study is using a research scale. The scale of this study has been tested for reliability and validity. The research data was analyzed using classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of this study found that there was a very significant influence of job demands and resilience on honorary employees. This is shown by a significance value of 0.000 which indicates that the higher the job demands, the lower the resilience of honorary employees. The subject of this research is still limited to one area, therefore further research is expected to improve the findings or results of the research.

Abstract

Assessing the quality of services at health centers is an important part because it can indirectly have an impact on improving the degree of public health. Measuring and monitoring the quality of health services is impossible without indicators. Based on the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation No. 30 of 2022, one of the indicators used to assess the quality of health services is patient satisfaction. The interest of patients to return to the Health Center can be influenced by their experience on previous visits. Patients who are quite satisfied with the health services provided will tend to return to the health center because they feel comfortable and believe in the quality of the services provided. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the quality of health services based on the component of patient satisfaction at the Paniki Bawah Health Center. Data collection was carried out using a Google Form questionnaire for 100 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Statistical analysis was carried out with SmartPLS software. Hypothesis testing is used to analyze the relationship between related variables as shown in the research model. The results showed a strong positive correlation between various dimensions of service quality and overall patient satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that the quality of health services at the Paniki Bawah Health Center is highly rated by BPJS patients. Interest in patient visits is also very high, showing satisfaction with the service.
