Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the use of Actelectronic in international business transactions. However, the validity of electronic activities is still a legal issue, especially in Indonesia, where regulations are not fully in line with international standards such as the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Commerce. This study aims to analyze the validity of electronic deeds in international business transactions through the perspective of Indonesian notaries to identify existing challenges, as well as provide recommendations for regulatory harmonization. This research uses a normative juridical method with a legal and regulatory approach, a study of legal doctrine, and an analysis of international standards related to electronic transactions. Primary data were obtained from regulatory studies such as the ITE Law and the Notary Position Law, while the data secondary comes from international standards such as UNCITRAL Model Law and eIDAS. The results of the study show that although electronic deeds are recognized by the ITE Law as a valid legal evidence tool, their application in cross-border transactions is constrained by inconformities with the Notary Position Law, which still requires physical presence and manual signatures. In addition, the lack of integration with international standards and inadequate cybersecurity infrastructure are also major obstacles. The discussion highlighted the importance of harmonization of national regulations with international standards.

Abstract

The Indonesian diaspora, which is spread across various parts of the world, has great potential to support national development through remittances, investment, technology transfer, and strengthening nation branding. However, Indonesia's single citizenship policy creates a dilemma for the diaspora, forcing them to choose between Indonesian citizenship or the country of residence. This study aims to identify diaspora preferences for dual citizenship policies, analyze emerging opportunities and challenges, and develop recommendations for implementation strategies for this policy. The results of the study show that the dual citizenship policy can increase diaspora involvement in national development, strengthen economic stability, and support Indonesia's public diplomacy. However, the implementation of this policy requires mitigating risks such as double loyalty and legal conflicts through comprehensive regulatory design. With the right policies, the diaspora can become a strategic asset to support national resilience and the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

The Gibung tradition in Kelayu is a cultural heritage of religious and social significance as a tribute to TGH Umar, a great local scholar. In addition to commemorating the haul of TGH Umar, this tradition strengthens social relations and maintains the cultural identity of the community "Trio Kelayu Bersaudara." However, its sustainability faces challenges, mainly due to the declining participation of the younger generation and the influence of globalization. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to explore the value and symbols in Gibung and identify the role of each pentahelix element (government, academics, business, society, and media) in its preservation. The results of the study show that pentahelix synergy is an effective strategy for maintaining the sustainability of Gibung amid modernization. The support of community participation plays an important role in ensuring that Gibung remains relevant for future generations and becomes a symbol of a rich cultural identity.

Abstract

Adolescent mental health is a critical issue that affects their quality of life and development. Digital interventions offer an innovative solution to enhance mental health literacy among adolescents. This article to identify the effectiveness of digital educational interventions in improving adolescents' knowledge and attitudes toward early detection of mental health issues. A scoping review was conducted using the PEOS framework. Literature searches were performed in PubMed and ScienceDirect databases for articles published between 2019 and 2024. A total of 15 articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Digital interventions, such as school-based applications and social media campaigns, enhanced mental health literacy and reduced stigma related to mental health. Several interventions also improved adolescents' abilities to recognize mental health symptoms and encouraged help-seeking behaviors. However, challenges such as low digital literacy and limited access remain significant barriers to implementation. Digital education effectively improves adolescents' knowledge and attitudes toward early detection of mental health issues. Culturally relevant approaches and stakeholder support are crucial for the program's sustainability.
