Abstract

In filing a bankruptcy petition, the petitioner must fulfill the requirements for the petition to be granted by the panel of judges. These requirements are stipulated in Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 8 paragraph (2) of Law No. 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations. According to these requirements, the bankruptcy petitioner must provide evidence that there are other creditors, either by presenting these other creditors as witnesses or by the debtor's acknowledgment in the form of promissory notes or other documents. However, in its implementation, it turns out that the method of proving this is subject to multiple interpretations, leading to legal uncertainty, namely whether other creditors need to be present in the hearing or if the debtor's acknowledgment is sufficient. This research will be conducted using a normative research method, which involves studying legislation with an approach to bankruptcy cases in Indonesia

Abstract

Tin mining in Indonesia has been regulated by Indonesia Law Number 3 of 2020. However, it has not been fully utilized in Indonesia despite the country's abundant tin deposit opportunities, its position as one of the significant producers of tin globally, and the impact on both the global tin stock and price. In light of this, a comprehensive literature review has been carried out; an initial conceptual framework and causal loop diagram of Indonesia’s national tin production planning have been produced to produce the concept of an instrument for setting national tin production quotas and the concept of formulating the distribution of national tin production levels that could be a reference for future researchers as well as Government of Indonesia in order to find the national tin production planning.

Abstract

Zakat is a philanthropic activity Zakat is a philanthropic activity with huge prospects and usage, yet there is a significant gap between its economic potential and its actualization; according to BAZNAS, in 2020 Indonesia's zakat fund only utilized 4.3% of its potential. Moreover, the majority of Zakat funds are acquired through conventional channels; in 2019, only 13% of IZI's total Zakat funds came from digital channels, while 87% came from traditional channels. One of the reasons for this is that muzak (people who must pay zakat) are not proficient in using digital platforms, and the community is unaware of exactly what to do. Also, when it comes to collecting zakat funds, their administration and distribution to ashraf or mustahik (those who qualify to receive zakat funds), their accurate distribution, and staff members not using digital tools. The objective of this study is to find answers that will help us figure out what the Zakat IZI management system needs to accomplish to become digitally transformed and how it can be improved and gained. This research is a case study with qualitative methods. We collect data for this study using a variety of methods, such as interviews, literature reviews, and document analysis.

Abstract

Fuel for high-energy solid fuel combustion systems must meet abundant availability, affordability, and environmental friendliness criteria, particularly having low greenhouse gas emissions. One type of fuel that meets these criteria is bio-coal. Gasification burners employ staged combustion techniques that enhance combustion efficiency and reduce the formation of harmful substances, making them more environmentally friendly. This article discusses the performance testing of gasification burners using bio-coal as fuel, with variable primary air flow rates of 25, 30, 35, 40, and 50 m3/hour and biomass percentages in the bio-coal of 25%, 50%, and 75% by weight. The parameters observed are burner capacity, temperature, and CO2 gas emission factor. The experimental results show that increasing the air flow rate from 25 to 35 m3/hour significantly increases burner capacity and temperature, while further increasing the primary air flow rate to 50 m3/hour results in a gradual increase in burner capacity. The experiments also indicate that increasing the biomass percentage in the bio-coal slightly increases burner capacity and temperature due to the similar calorific values of palm pellet and coal used. The gasification burner technology developed by BBP Tekmira has proven to operate effectively within a capacity range of 8 to 20 kg/hour for bio-coal fuel with biomass percentages ranging from 25% to 75% by weight, producing burner temperatures between 805 and 933 degrees Celsius. Using bio-coal for gasification burners has also been shown to reduce greenhouse gas emissions when the biomass percentage in bio-coal exceeds 64%.

Abstract

Climate change is one of the leading causes that threaten life on Earth. Indonesia's efforts to overcome this problem are by signing the COP26 Coal to Clean Power Transition Statement or a statement on the transition from coal energy to clean energy. This commitment to clean energy is targeted to reach net zero emissions by 2060. The company wants to expand its business into the new and renewable energy (EBT) sector. Therefore, before the company develops its business to establish a wood pellet factory, it is necessary first to design the initial business and business feasibility, which includes aspects of feasibility analysis, including market aspects, technical aspects, environmental aspects, financial aspects, and sensitivity analysis to be able to determine whether this business development decision is feasible to run or not. The inflation rate is 3.27%, and the MARR value is 8%. Based on the feasibility calculation on the financial aspect, the establishment of a wood pellet factory is feasible with an NPV of Rp 29,393,458,729, IRR of 44.34%, PBP for 2.28 years, and BCR of 1.29. According to sensitivity analysis, the establishment of this wood pellet factory is sensitive to a decrease in product selling prices by 12.01%, sensitive to an increase in direct raw material costs by 41.57% and sensitive to an increase in raw material supply service costs by 51.46%.

Abstract

Infrastructure projects, such as greenhouse construction, are necessary for economic growth. Effective project control is essential, especially in managing budgets and ensuring timely completion. The Earned Value (EVM) method is used in construction project control because it integrates costs, time, and work progress. This allows for the identification of potential cost and time overruns. Data on expenditures and project-related documentation are gathered for analysis. Work plans and project schedules determine the value of work yet to be completed. The research findings up to the 10th month indicate that the projected total cost for completing the project is IDR 10,773,835,000. This leaves 8% of the total budgeted value as the remaining project budget. According to the data reported in the 11th month, the projected project completion time is 334 days. This is approximately 304 days ahead of the planned schedule. In summary, the EVM method is a valuable tool for project control in the construction industry. It can help to identify potential cost and time overruns and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
