Abstract

As technology progresses, more and more business processes are digitized. This research was made to find out how the document industry is affected and make an educated guess on revenue forecasts based on previous data. Data will be taken daily for five years, from January 2017 to December 2022. Revenue data will be forecasted with two methods: ARIMA and Prophet. Data will be plotted on a graph in a user-authenticated dashboard made with R Shiny. The results of each forecast will be error-tested with MAE and RMSE. The results show that Prophet consistently produces a smaller number in both tests, which shows that Prophet is the more accurate method out of the two.

Abstract

In a dynamic environment, the ability to work with agility, effectiveness, and efficiency is essential to the success of organizations, including public organizations. However, few studies investigate how public organizations in Indonesia apply the strategy to be agile, effective, and efficient. This article can be seen as an attempt to contribute to the Indonesian bureaucracy improvement strategy using qualitative research methods with a phenomenology approach. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that public organizations in Indonesia have implemented strategies to change the culture, structure and work systems supported by the HR management system. All of the strategies need to be carried out simultaneously.

Abstract

Ethnopharmacological research is an approach to exploring the local knowledge of specific communities about the use of medicinal plants. This article discusses the use of cinnamon (Cinnamomum) as an effective alternative medicine ingredient in several regions in Indonesia. The method used with data collection through literature search has been published in scientific research articles and journals. A literature search uses search engines published on several sites, such as Google Scholar, Pubmed, and Science Direct. Based on the review, it can be concluded that the Cinnamomum clan is widely used in various ethnic groups in Indonesia as a natural ingredient to help control blood glucose levels and is used as an alternative supplement for people with diabetes mellitus. Among the species of the genus Cinnamomum that have the potential to help control blood glucose levels are Cinnamomum burmanii, Cinnamomum verum, Cinnamomum tamala, and Cinnamomum zeylanicum.

Abstract

A notary in business, especially in the growth of a Limited Corporation as a legal institution, is considered necessary. Therefore, the corporation can also gain legal protection besides obeying the rules. The presence of an authentic act- a legal product released by a notary- supports the law concept that becomes the source of justice. The procedure is the key to the established law; without proper procedure based on the established law and correct procedure based on established rules and regulations, the whole system will fail; therefore, the procedure has a vital role in maintaining a system. In founding a Limited Corporation, the role of a notary becomes the link of all procedures, especially after establishing the legal institution Administration Sistem in 2000 with the decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia number M01.HT.01.01. The year 2000 about The Enforcement of Legal Institution Administration Sistem in General Directorial of General Law Administration of Law and Human Rights Department Republic of Indonesia. The legal Institution Administration System was established to replace the ineffective manual system in founding limited Corporation Legalization. Many reasons still support manual system use, although it is against the former rule mentioned if the manual system is no longer usable.

Abstract

Components in evaluating student academic achievement can be seen from several things, including attendance. Recording attendance or absenteeism in courses is one of the factors for assessing academic performance and student activities in the learning process. Errors in recording attendance are human errors that can be detrimental to students. This research aims to develop a mobile-based application with the Android platform to overcome errors in attendance. Application software development uses the Agile method; the research results are applications that can overcome human error problems, and development using the Agile method can be done more quickly

Abstract

In the operation of oil and gas exploration and exploitation, safety is crucial as it is related to asset safety, environmental safety, and human resource safety. Storage tanks play a crucial role in the process of exploring and exploiting crude oil, serving as storage facilities for liquids in large volumes. These storage tanks are susceptible to corrosion as the materials used in their construction are typically made of steel. Uncontrolled corrosion can weaken or destroy parts of the tank system, leading to holes or structural failures that may release stored products into the environment, resulting in material losses and potential fatalities. One method for assessing the viability of pressure equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems is Fitness for Service (FFS). FFS is a quantitative engineering evaluation conducted to demonstrate the structural integrity of a component in operation, even if it has experienced damage, defects, or cracks. Guidelines in FFS procedure manuals can be used to make decisions regarding "continued/repair/replacement" to ensure that components experiencing damage or defects can continue to operate for a specified period. The thickness measurements on the storage tank show that the lowest thickness is found in course 4, with a value of 4.32 mm, while the highest thickness is in the roof at 5.60 mm. The highest corrosion rate is detected in the roof with a value of 0.100 mm/year, and from this corrosion rate value, an estimated remaining life of 20 years for storage tank T-10 is obtained. In assessing the feasibility or Fitness for Services of the storage tank, it still meets the criteria specified by API 579.

Abstract

Environmental damage caused by the use of plastic occurs because, in everyday life, people cannot be separated from the use of plastic. Humans feel the effects caused by plastic waste, and other living things, such as animals, also feel this loss. Several initiatives have been proposed to reduce excessive plastic use, including a digital campaign by AMDK on social media and Twitter. So, this study was conducted to determine whether campaigns carried out through social media, such as Twitter, are a form of positive movement and can be known by all consumers. The research method used in this study is quantitative, with survey methods using 100 samples of active Twitter users. Data is processed using data analysis techniques. Data is processed using data analysis techniques using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of this study show that the two dependent variables, namely social campaigns and social media, have a positive effect on the independent variable, namely brand image

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country with a state goal, namely, to increase the country's development. To realize growth, funds are needed, which come from relatively significant state revenues. The state revenue that makes the most significant contribution is tax sector revenue. Taxes are people's contributions to the state treasury based on law, which can be imposed without receiving direct reciprocal services and are used for general expenses. So, action is needed to increase tax revenues. This research aims to determine the effect of individual taxpayer compliance on income tax revenues under Article 21. The data collection techniques used in this research are documentation and questionnaires. The population in this study was 1,695,904 individual taxpayers registered at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of North Sumatra I. The sampling technique in this research is Non-Probability Sampling, namely Random Sampling using the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive statistical analysis using SmartPLS-based Partial Least Square (PLS) software. This research indicates that Individual Taxpayer Compliance has a positive and significant effect on Income Tax Revenue Article 21 at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes, North Sumatra I.
