Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT) based attendance system. The designed system integrates two types of attendance systems, face recognition-based attendance system (FRA) and fingerprint-based attendance system (FPA), with a server. FRA uses Python programming language and Openc CV library, while FPA is developed using ESP8266 MCU Node and AS608 Fingerprint scanner with Adafruit Fingerprint library. FRA and FPA are connected to a web server with a database engine via an internet connection and send attendance data using the HTTP_POST method. The server development uses Apache Webserver, PHP programming language, and MySQL database engine. The server has two primary purposes: to record attendance data sent by FPA and FRA and to generate attendance reports based on user requests. System testing is done on a local network. The results show that the subsystems and integrated systems work well.

Abstract

Work System Design is a work system design made by the company based on company factors and goals, which will later be used as an essential reference regarding task descriptions for each employee. Task descriptions help define each job from the department so that the work undertaken is systematic to achieve the company's goals. Seeing the importance of this, the author researched the work system design at Novotel Tangerang Hotel, especially in the Food and Beverage Product Department for trainees in the Hot Kitchen. The background of this problem is that the work done by trainees in the hot kitchen is still not well structured. The problem is that the company has no written trainee work system design. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and literature studies with the help of voice recording devices and cameras to answer problem formulations. The result obtained is that the work system design for trainees is formed based on organisational culture or in the sense that there is no work system design for trainees in writing by the company because work for trainees can change over time

Abstract

This study discusses the authority and responsibility of notaries in making marriage agreement deeds. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyse the authority and responsibility of notaries in making marriage agreement deeds and the urgency of marriage agreements. This research method uses normative law because it is based on a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The result of this study is that the notary's authority in making the marriage agreement deed he made is limited to the content of the agreement that has fulfilled the conditions for the validity of the agreement under Article 1320 of the Civil Code, so he cannot be prosecuted in court; conversely, if the marriage agreement certificate does not meet the requirements of the validity of the agreement, then the deed made by a notary can be cancelled by the judge. The notary's responsibility in the marriage agreement is to ensure that no third party is harmed by the making of a marriage agreement after the marriage.

Abstract

Muamalah is the sunnatullah of man as a social being. One form of mammalian is in the form of employment relations. Labour relations in the modern era developed into industrial relations and experienced developments in form and scope. The Indonesian state based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution aspires to realise fair industrial relations formulated in Pancasila Industrial relations. On the other hand, the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim and has fair industrial relations. Efforts to realise fair industrial relations through the approach of the Indonesian constitution, namely industrial relations and the approach of the mullah principle, can be juxtaposed. In the national context, the government formulated Pancasila Industrial Relations as the goal of developing and fostering Industrial Relations. The author will discuss the Islamic perspective on justice in industrial relations and the role of each in realising equitable industrial relations. The compatibility and differences between these approaches can be a dissolution to realising justice in industrial relations to its order and application

Abstract

PT XYZ is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in information and communication technology (ICT) services and telecommunications networks in Indonesia. The projection of increasing internet needs makes the need for internet bandwidth even greater. The sea cable communication system (SKKL) available today is predicted to no longer be able to accommodate bandwidth needs, especially the internet, for the next few years. In addition, PT XYZ must also be able to anticipate serving the Metaverse. This study aims to determine alternative scenarios and the feasibility of building Indonesia's sea cable communication system (SKKL) in the metaverse era. This study discusses the selection of the best scenario from 4 scenarios with the discounted cash flow method and considers the EUAC of each scenario. The aspects to be studied are market aspects, technical aspects, and financial aspects. Market aspect data is obtained from the company's historical data, and demand forecasting is carried out using the linear regression method. The technical aspect is carried out by determining the business process, the scenario to be used, labour, as well as the details of investment costs. The financial aspect is done by calculating estimated revenue, income statement, and cash flow. Based on the results of the feasibility calculation, the NPV value was Rp.32,337,102,145,226, PBP of 3.2 years, and IRR of 44.43% with MARR of 14.8%. The results of this research show that the selected scenario is feasible to run

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of natural resources, one of which is oil and gas. In the process of drilling for petroleum, one of the equipment used is a Rig. Age factors can affect the performance of the rig system. Where a structure is depleted beyond ten per cent, then the contribution must be the element undergoing repair or replacement of the defective. The Depletion structure must be repaired. Before operating with new materials, return to the initial condition. Therefore, Regulation Number 32 of 2021, Safety Inspection of Installations and Equipment in Oil and Gas Business Activities, sets the remaining life limit for equipment service. The research method used in this paper refers to the strength of the Rig Tower member, which is calculated using applicable formulas and standards. The final step is a simulation performed using FAE MSC Nastran software. In the calculation, the loading cases of API Spec 4F are used, namely: 1. Max. Rated static hook load of 90.7 tnf (889,463.2 N) with 6 lines, 2. Wind speed of 60 knots with pipe setback. The calculation results can be concluded that the structure of PT XYZ's Rig tower is strong enough against the Maximum Static Hook Load of 889,463.2 N (6 lines), wind load of 60 Knots with pipe setback, rig up load and can last for 30.39 (thirty-thirty-nine hundredths) of years for fatigue, 24 (twenty-four) years for environmental corrosion (Upper Mast) and 20.56 (twenty-fifty-six hundredths) of a year for abrasion corrosion (Lower Mast).

Abstract

The proliferation of coffee shops in Bandung city is influenced by various factors, including the cultural significance of coffee consumption, the tendency of young individuals to frequent coffee establishments, and the influx of tourists to the city. Nevertheless, a considerable number of coffee shops have experienced closure shortly after their establishment due to their inability to sustain themselves in the industry. This predicament is often attributed to a deficiency in the knowledge required to manage human resources, thereby impeding organizational performance effectively. Consequently, this research aims to examine the impact of knowledge management and innovative work behavior on organizational performance. The study focuses on three coffee shops situated in Bandung, with a total sample size of 39 individuals. The findings from these establishments demonstrate a significant and positive influence of innovative work behavior and knowledge management on organizational performance. However, it is noteworthy that disparities in regulations and policies among the three coffee shops have engendered varying perspectives among employees regarding knowledge management, innovative work behavior, and organizational performance

Abstract

Non-tax revenue (PNBP) is a collection other than taxes paid by individuals, groups or business entities as an obligation to the state for the utilization of natural resources. Increasing the optimization of non-tax revenues is still a challenge for the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal in managing PNBP. The existence of the e-PNBP application aims to make monitoring of PNBP obligations much easier to carry out. This application was created to facilitate the calculation of PNBP obligations by the payer, facilitate evaluation and verification of PNBP obligations by evaluators, and as a function of payment of mineral and coal PNBP obligations so that they are in accordance with the calculated value of PNBP obligations. At present, the e-PNBP application is one of the most dynamic among others in terms of facilitating various changes and adjustments to regulations related to mineral and coal mining. In its development, the e-PNBP application requires integration with other applications such as MODI, SIMPONI, MOMS, MVP and SERASI, as well as various other developments.
