Abstract

Digital transformation brings changes to the business world by increasing efficiency, convenience, security, certainty and operational speed. CV Elang Java Mandiri experienced the positive impact of this by creating software to increase operational efficiency. However, the use of direct communication between the desktop application and the database causes vulnerabilities. The lack of a bridge between the desktop application and the database also indicates a lack of flexibility when adding other applications. Ransomware attacks on desktop applications cause losses and limitations in development. This research focuses on backend updates that use API as an integrator with the API-First method. OpenAPI standards and OWASP security principles are used to increase resilience against security threats. These steps were tested with OWASP ZAP and http test. The goal is to provide solutions to company problems, meet the need for more secure applications, and make application development easier.

Abstract

Fish incubation, which involves the hatching of fish eggs, represents the process of embryogenesis until the embryo emerges from its protective shell. This intricate developmental journey is influenced by a combination of internal and external factors. External factors can be influenced by water quality that is not suitable for hatching fish eggs. Water quality, which includes temperature, dissolved oxygen, light intensity, salinity, and pH, is an important and limiting factor for living creatures that live in water, including chemical, biological, and physical factors. Poor water quality can prevent fish eggs from hatching and even cause death. The primary objective here is the creation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system designed for controlling water quality during fish incubation. This system is intended to aid fish farmers in effectively control the environmental conditions within their incubation ponds. The method used in designing IoT device is research and development, and it uses the Arduino Mega microcontroller as the main device to run pH sensors, turbidity sensors, oxygen sensors, temperature sensors, and relay modules. Water Quality Control System The fish incubation was successful. The average time needed to change the water temperature from 28.5 to 29 degrees Celsius is 4 minutes and 7 seconds; change the dissolved oxygen level from 11 to 11.5 is 3 minutes and 33 seconds; change the pH value of the water from 6.9 to 7.1; and maintain turbidity below 5 with an average time of 5 minutes and 58 seconds. Controlling water quality can speed up the fish egg incubation process for 8 hours.

Abstract

In an era of globalization, companies must optimize their resources to meet customer needs. To improve the quality of human resources, companies must focus on areas such as the work environment, management support, organizational culture, employee engagement, and employee satisfaction. The study aims to identify the employee's performance in relation to its association with the variable studied and analyze it based on the supporting component. Data collection occurs through surveys and questionnaires, while analysis methods include Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that a significant relationship between employee performance and employee characteristics on the work environment variable of 0.473 and employer engagement of 0.440 has been demonstrated. Employees who work in a positive and supportive work environment and feel engaged in their work tend to be more committed, more productive and qualified, more satisfied and motivated, and have a positive work culture. These aspects have the ability to increase employee satisfaction and employee performance, which in turn contribute to the overall success of the company.

Abstract

With the digital transformation, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) have become crucial for operational efficiency and better healthcare. By the end of 2023, all Indonesian healthcare facilities are expected to implement EMR (Regulation No. 24, 2022). However, challenges with BPJS claims often arise post-EMR implementation. This study analyzes EMR's impact at RS A on BPJS claims and physician performance, aiming to identify mitigation strategies for these issues. Using mixed methods, this study combines primary data from 5 respondent interviews and secondary data on BPJS claims pre- and post-EMR implementation at RS A (Jan-Aug 2023). Secondary data analysis employs tables, graphs, and descriptive statistics (mean, median, and standard deviation) to detail BPJS claims patterns. The Chi-Square test is used to analyze the relationship between physician performance and BPJS claim document completeness. EMR implementation increased cases by 11.27% and nominal BPJS claims by 15.04%. Physician performance analysis showed no significant relationship between variables and BPJS claim document completeness (p > 0.05). Challenges post-EMR included data errors, lack of staff training, technical constraints, and incomplete integration of operational processes with EMR. Mitigation strategies include staff training, periodic monitoring, internal audits, process improvements, and management evaluation. EMR implementation at RS A increased cases and BPJS claims. However, challenges persist post-implementation. Effective mitigation strategies can enhance efficiency and BPJS claim quality.

Abstract

Shoes are a secondary need that is in demand by all age groups. Each shoe brand has many models, which means a store must provide complete stock to meet consumer needs. The available models have different purchasing power or demand, which creates difficulties for stores in determining shoe products that are often sold and shoe products that are not in demand by customers. The data used in cluster formation includes three variables recorded and collected from e-commerce transactions, namely Number of Visitors, Number of Buyers, and Total Sales. Based on these variables, Ventela shoe models are grouped into three clusters, namely low-selling, normal and best-selling. Next, the variable number of transactions for Ventela shoe models in the best-selling cluster is taken to be predicted using the Exponential Smoothing method. The forecasts obtained are used to determine future demand to maximize profits. Based on the results of the clustering analysis, it was found that the number of shoe models included in the best-selling cluster was six, including (1) Ventela Ethnic Low All Black, (2) Ventela Ethnic Low Black Natural, (3) Ventela Public Low Black Natural, (4) Ventela Public Low Cream, (5) Ventela Republic Low Black Natural, and (6) Ventela Republic Low White. Referring to the sample of this study, which only spanned less than three years, several shoe models produced a forecast value of zero. It means, based on the forecast results for the next 12 months, there may be no sales.
