Abstract

The Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) is a policy of the Indonesian government aimed at improving the quality of decent housing for low-income people through a self-help (swadaya) approach. This study aims to find out how the BSPS program improves the welfare of the community in Retok village. The method used was a descriptive qualitative study with field observation techniques and in-depth interviews with aid recipients, local implementers, and related agencies. The results of the study show that BSPS has a positive impact on improving the quality of houses, the welfare of beneficiaries, and the surrounding community. However, challenges are still found in the technical aspects of implementation and limited funds. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen coordination between agencies and increase community capacity in the process of building self-help (swadaya) houses.

Abstract

In dynamic industrial environments such as the mining support sector, employee performance is critical to achieving organizational goals. However, performance outcomes are often influenced by leadership quality, organizational culture, and reward systems, which are rarely examined collectively. This study aims to investigate the simultaneous and partial effects of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and incentives on the performance of permanent employees in the engineering division of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama, Adaro Tutupan jobsite. A quantitative approach was adopted using a survey distributed to 44 respondents, with data analyzed through path analysis using SmartPLS software. The results revealed that all three independent variables—transformational leadership, organizational culture, and incentives—positively and significantly influence employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Among these, transformational leadership showed the strongest direct effect. These findings imply that strategic alignment of leadership behavior, a supportive organizational environment, and well-designed incentive systems are essential to optimizing employee productivity in project-based operational settings. The study offers actionable insights for HR development in the mining industry and serves as a reference for future research integrating psychological and contextual factors

Abstract

The importance of financial literacy education has increased as modern economies grow more complex, yet its implementation in Indonesia—particularly at the early childhood level—remains inadequate. Families often overlook the necessity of teaching children about finances, and schools have not fully integrated financial literacy into formal curricula. This study aims to examine the strategic role of early childhood financial literacy education and propose an effective framework involving both family and school environments. A qualitative-descriptive method was applied, supported by literature review and conceptual analysis, to explore how values of financial literacy can be instilled in children from an early age. The findings reveal that families serve as the primary environment for nurturing financial behavior, while schools play a complementary and reinforcing role. Effective financial education requires alignment between parental practices and structured curriculum supported by trained educators. The study highlights that integrating financial literacy early leads to more responsible financial behavior in adulthood and contributes to national goals of economic resilience and inclusion. It recommends policy integration, curriculum reform, and parent-teacher collaboration as core strategies. This research serves as a foundation for building inclusive financial education models tailored to developing countries.

Abstract

Trademark License; Notarial Deed; Legal Protection; Intellectual Property. This study examines the role of notarial deeds in providing legal protection for parties involved in trademark licensing agreements in Indonesia. A trademark license agreement allows the registered trademark owner to grant permission to another party to use their mark. Although not legally required to be made in the form of a notarial deed, in practice, such deeds significantly enhance legal certainty and evidentiary strength, especially when the agreement is registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP). Through normative legal analysis and interviews with practitioners and academics, this research finds that notarial deeds add substantial value in ensuring legal protection and facilitating dispute resolution. Moreover, the authority of notaries as public officials guarantees neutrality and the legitimacy of the licensing process. The study recommends harmonizing existing legal norms with practical application and encourages improved understanding of intellectual property law among notaries. Therefore, a notarial deed should not be viewed merely as a formal requirement, but as a vital legal instrument in securing rights and obligations in trademark licensing relationships.

Abstract

This study examines the role of notaries in providing legal counseling related to copyright transfer. The position of a notary as a public official directly involves serving the interests of the public by offering services such as legal counseling, as regulated by Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 30 of 2004 on the Notary Profession. Specifically, in the context of copyrights, notaries must ensure that the copyright status is valid and duly held by the appearing party. The objective of this study is to clarify the authority of notaries in providing legal counseling related to copyright through the case study of Riot Games vs. Moonton, and to understand how notaries perform their role in facilitating copyright transfers through authentic deeds. The research method used is a normative-empirical legal research method, which utilizes secondary data as the primary material, consisting of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources. Secondary data obtained through literature study is complemented and strengthened by primary data in the form of interviews. The results of the study indicate that legal counseling by notaries is essential to ensure that parties understand their rights and obligations before carrying out specific legal acts. Authentic deeds prepared by notaries can provide legal certainty and protection for the parties involved, thereby helping to prevent disputes. Notaries play a vital role in ensuring that the transfer of rights is conducted legally and in accordance with the applicable law.

Abstract

Amid the dynamics of modern social and economic life, marital agreements have become increasingly relevant, especially for young couples who begin building their careers and assets at an early stage. This study aims to examine the urgency of marital agreements from the perspective of Indonesian positive law and to analyze the prevailing social responses within society. Using a juridical-sociological approach, the research reviews the provisions in the Indonesian Civil Code, the Marriage Law, and the Constitutional Court Decision No. 69/PUU-XIII/2015, which allows for postnuptial agreements. Additionally, it explores young couples’ perceptions of this issue through literature review and secondary data analysis. The findings reveal that although marital agreements provide legal certainty and asset protection, many young couples are reluctant to pursue them due to negative societal stigma. Therefore, educational efforts and cultural legal reforms are needed to reframe prenuptial agreements as a preventive and rational legal measure, rather than a threat to marital harmony. This study contributes to promoting a more progressive and inclusive legal understanding among the younger generation.

Abstract

The development of high-quality and character-driven human resources is a national priority program. Human resources in Indonesia must be based on Pancasila values. Therefore, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology is committed to realizing the Pancasila Student Profile. Educators play a key role in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile. This research aims to gain deeper insight into the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile through the concept of grit, which is identified as a form of educator resilience in facing students’ moral degradation. This research uses a qualitative method. The method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews with two respondents who were teachers and elementary school principals. The results showed that both respondents had a high level of grit, characterized by strong motivation, consistency in facing challenges, and resilience in the face of psychological pressure from parents and the environment. Educators can incorporate Pancasila values into the learning process despite post-pandemic challenges. The conclusion of this study states that grit is an important factor in the successful implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile. The implications of this study highlight the importance of strengthening the capacity and psychological resilience of teachers in implementing national character programs. Further research is suggested to include more respondents and adopt a multi-level approach to examine the influence of cross-school and institutional policies on the implementation of character values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of financial factors on company value and stock performance in coal subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study is based on the necessity of understanding how financial indicators such as profitability, leverage, liquidity, and corporate actions influence firm value and investor perception, especially in capital-intensive industries that are extremely sensitive to external swings. Previous research has shown conflicting results, indicating the need for additional empirical examination, particularly in Indonesia's energy sector setting. The study adopts a quantitative approach called Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The sample consists of 57 observations gathered specifically from coal company annual reports for the years 2023-2024. Exogenous factors (X) include profitability (ROA, ROE), leverage (DER), liquidity (CR), and corporate action (DIV). Endogenous variables (Y) include Stock Performance (Stock Return) and Firm Value (PBV). The study shows that only leverage has a substantial and favourable effect on stock performance (path coefficient = 0.331, p-value = 0.005). Other variables, including profitability, liquidity, and corporate actions, have no substantial impact on firm valuation or stock performance. These findings imply that, in the coal sector, external factors and market mood may be more important than traditional financial measures in determining business value and investor reactions
