Abstract

The Role of Parents in Teaching Islamic Values to Children Parents play a very important role in educating and shaping children's character. Through the teaching of Islamic values carried out from an early age, parents can help children understand religious teachings and build a noble personality. The role of parents is not only as providers of physical needs but also as the main educators in shaping children's morals. By getting used to religious practices at home, such as performing ṣalāh (prayer), reading the Qur’an, making duʿāʾ (supplication), and demonstrating noble morals, parents can teach positive habits to their children. Through consistent examples, children will imitate these behaviors and understand the importance of Islamic values in daily life. According to several sources, the teaching of Islamic values carried out by parents from an early age will have a positive impact on the development of children's character. This also helps children understand the basic principles of Islam, such as honesty, concern for others, and respect for the commands of Allah SWT. In addition, good communication between parents and children is also an important means of this teaching. Parents need to listen to their children's concerns, discuss daily life, and provide simple but meaningful explanations of religious principles.

The purpose of this study was to examine how digital marketing, influencer marketing, and fear of missing out affected customers' decisions to buy Glad2Glow skincare products, especially those who live in East Jakarta. This study employed a quantitative approach using an associative-causal methodology. A targeted sample selection was used to distribute questionnaires to 100 respondents in order to collect data. Using SPSS ver25 software, multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data. The study's findings demonstrate that digital marketing, influencer marketing, and fear of missing out all have a favorable and substantial impact on the choice to buy. In certain instances, though, the individual factors also appear to have a big impact on the decision to buy. In conclusion, digital marketing, influencer marketing, and Fear of Missing Out play important roles in shaping consumers’ purchasing decisions for Glad2Glow skincare products. Therefore, companies are encouraged to strengthen digital marketing strategies, collaborate with credible influencers, and design promotional activities that are able to attract consumer attention in a highly competitive skincare market.

Abstract

Lip cream is a lip coloring product in the form of a semi-solid or cream. The composition of lip cream is similar to decorative cosmetics in general, which consists of active ingredients in the form of dyes in various basic ingredients or bases. This study aims to develop a formula for herbal lip cream preparations from asoka flower extract (Ixora javanica (Blume) DC.) and provide information about evaluation tests in the form of lip cream preparations. This research began with asoka flower extract using the maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent. The extract is made into lip cream preparations with the formulas 1,2 and 3, using the melting and mixing method. The lip cream produced is evaluated and tested for stability which includes organoleptic observation, homogeneity test, pH test, dispersion test, adhesion test, application power test, and determination of the type of lip cream. The results of the physical evaluation showed that the F0, F1, F2 and F3 lip creams met the requirements for physical stability. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that asoka flower extract can be formulated into lip cream preparations.

Abstract

Rational Emotive Behavior Counseling (REBC) is a cognitive-behavioral counseling approach developed by Albert Ellis and focuses on the role of irrational beliefs in causing emotional and behavioral disorders. This article aims to comprehensively examine the philosophical foundation, conceptual structure, intervention techniques, role of counselors, counseling stages, and the relevance of REBC in contemporary guidance and counseling practice. This study was based on the main literature on counseling theories from Capuzzi & Gross (2007), Corey (2009), Nelson-Jones (2001), Parrott (2003), Prochaska & Norcross (2007), Seligman (2006), and Sharf (2004), and supported by various national journals indexed by SINTA 4 or more. The results of the study show that REBC is effective in treating anxiety, depression, academic stress, maladaptive behavior, and self-adjustment problems in various settings, including educational and clinical. This approach emphasizes cognitive restructuring through the ABCDE model, active dispute, and systematic behavioral training. This article concludes that REBC is highly relevant to be applied in guidance and counseling services in Indonesia, especially in the context of higher education and schools.

Abstract

Feminist counseling has emerged as a significant psychological approach that addresses gender inequality, individual empowerment, and the critical awareness of oppressive social structures. This study aims to explore the basic concepts, historical development, theoretical foundations, and techniques of feminist counseling through a systematic literature review. Using a qualitative approach with literature study methods, this research synthesizes findings from various scholarly sources to provide a comprehensive understanding of feminist counseling as an applied framework in psychotherapy. The results reveal that feminist counseling originated in the late 1960s as a reaction to gender bias embedded in traditional psychotherapy, rooted in the second wave of the women's movement. Key figures such as Jean Baker Miller and Carol Gilligan contributed foundational perspectives that shaped the approach's core principles, including gender equality, egalitarian counselor-client relationships, and client empowerment. The counseling techniques identified include open dialogue, self-reflection, gender education and social awareness, client empowerment, deconstruction of gender roles, social advocacy, and narrative therapy. These techniques are designed to help clients—particularly women and female students—recognize their experiences within a broader sociocultural context, challenge internalized gender norms, and pursue greater personal autonomy. While feminist counseling offers distinctive strengths in promoting gender sensitivity and social justice, limitations include potential value imposition by counselors, reduced applicability for male clients, and ideological fragmentation among feminist schools of thought. This study concludes that feminist counseling plays a vital role in advancing gender equality and enhancing psychological well-being within contemporary society.

Abstract

Mandarin communication skills are important for students in the Mandarin Language Study Program at Prima Indonesia University; however, there are obstacles related to pronunciation, sentence structure, and self-confidence, so effective teaching methods are needed. This study aims to assess the influence of lecture and demonstration approaches on the communication abilities of students in the Mandarin Language Study Program at Prima Indonesia University. This study employed a quantitative method using 36 students as respondents. Data collection was conducted by distributing surveys via Google Forms. Coefficients of determination, F-tests, t-tests, validity and reliability tests, and classical assumption tests were used to analyze the data. The findings demonstrated that students' communication abilities were not significantly affected by the lecture method. On the other hand, the demonstration method was shown to significantly and positively improve students' communication abilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that, in helping students in the Mandarin Language Study Program at Prima Indonesia University improve their communication abilities, the demonstration method is more effective than the lecture method.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing threat to biodiversity in Indonesia, particularly due to the illegal possession of protected wildlife, which reflects gaps in law enforcement and weak integration of ecological values in judicial decisions. Indonesia, as a mega-biodiversity country, faces serious challenges in ensuring effective protection of endangered species through its legal system. This research aims to analyze the judge's considerations in imposing criminal penalties on the perpetrators of the ownership of protected animals of the Javan Hedgehog (Hystrix javanica) in Decision Number 131/Pid.Sus-LH/2025/PN.Mjy. Using normative juridical methods with a case study approach and an ecological justice perspective, this study dissects the ratio decidendi of judges in applying criminal sanctions. The results of the study showed that the Panel of Judges legally proved the Defendant's violation of Article 21 paragraph (2) of Law No. 5 of 1990. However, the imposition of a 5-month prison sentence with a probation period of 1 year and a minimum fine reflects an anthropocentric paradigm that prioritizes the social background of the defendant over ecosystem losses. The implication is that this ruling risks weakening the deterrent effect and protection of biodiversity in Indonesia. Progressive law enforcement based on ecological justice is needed so that judges' verdicts are not only procedural, but also able to ensure the sustainable restoration of environmental functions.

Abstract

Financial welfare is an important issue for the millennial generation, especially in DKI Jakarta which has high economic dynamics and consumptive lifestyles. Financial literacy is needed to improve an individual's ability to manage finances, but without good planning, this knowledge does not necessarily have an impact on well-being. This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy on financial well-being with financial planning as a mediating variable in the millennial generation in DKI Jakarta. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data was obtained through a survey of 400 respondents using a purposive sampling technique using a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS method. The results showed that financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on financial well-being (β = 0.236) and had a strong effect on financial planning (β = 0.889). Financial planning also has a positive and significant effect on financial well-being (β = 0.708). In addition, financial planning is able to partially mediate the influence of financial literacy on financial well-being with a greater indirect influence (β = 0.630). The financial well-being of the millennial generation is not only influenced by financial literacy, but also by the ability to implement structured and effective financial planning.

Abstract

Stress is a common condition in daily life. Knowing the exact definition of bullying, influencing factors and efforts to overcome bullying in the school environment properly through psychoeducation is expected to increase students' knowledge about bullying. This research aims to test the effectiveness of psychoeducation in improving MTS students' understanding of bullying prevention. The study used a one-group pretest–posttest design with 20 active students at MTS N X Gorontalo City. Interventions were given in three sessions through presentation and simulation methods combined with video activities on the impact of bullying / Understanding measurement was carried out using questionnaires with open-ended questions. The results of the analysis obtained t = -8.629 with p = 0.00 (p<0.01). This suggests that there is a significant difference in knowledge understanding of bullying before and after psychoeducation. Mean post-test (M = 23.75; SD = 1.44) is greater than the mean pre-test (M = 19.35) and post-test (M = 23.75). This shows that psychoeducation is able to improve students' understanding of bullying.   The very large effect size value (Cohen's d = 2.28) confirms that this intervention has a very strong practical impact. These findings show that psychoeducation is quite effective in helping students understand what bullying is, the forms of bullying, the impact of bullying and how to prevent bullying. This program has the potential to be an alternative to preventive education that is easy to apply in schools

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy in reducing anxiety symptoms accompanied by insomnia, a condition that has become increasingly prevalent globally and in Indonesia. Anxiety disorders significantly affect individuals’ quality of life, while limitations in conventional treatments and mental health services highlight the need for complementary therapeutic approaches. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the benefits of acupuncture care in alleviating anxiety and improving sleep quality in patients. The study employed a qualitative case study design involving one adult female participant undergoing six sessions of acupuncture therapy over two weeks at Flowers Beauty Studio Bandung. Data were collected through observation, structured interviews, clinical examination based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles, and documentation. The therapy focused on balancing Yin deficiency and regulating Liver Qi stagnation through specific acupuncture points. The findings indicate a gradual and consistent improvement in the participant’s condition, including reduced anxiety levels, improved sleep duration and quality, decreased panic symptoms, and enhanced overall well-being. Clinical indicators such as pulse, tongue condition, and emotional stability also showed positive changes across therapy sessions. In conclusion, acupuncture therapy demonstrates effectiveness as a complementary and low-risk intervention for managing anxiety with insomnia. This approach contributes to restoring physical and emotional balance and offers a promising alternative for holistic mental health care.
