Education is a lifelong learning process that includes formal, nonformal, and informal aspects, aiming to develop students' character, knowledge, and skills. Apart from being a means of knowledge transfer, education also plays a role in the formation of moral values and helps students adapt to the dynamics of the times. Teachers are the main actors in the success of education, playing a role not only as teachers, but also as facilitators and supervisors who are able to create a conducive learning environment and in accordance with the needs of students. This study aims to examine the influence of classroom management on student motivation and learning activity at SMAN 22 Surabaya. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The main teacher who became the focus of the research was Mr. Agus Suhendra, while the principal, Mr. Dr. Muhammad Romli S.Pd., M.Pd gave full support for the implementation of good classroom management in the school. The results of the study show that effective classroom management, such as the preparation of common rules, the application of project- and problem-based learning methods, and the group investigation approach, are able to increase student motivation and activeness in learning. Mr. Agus Suhendra gives individualized attention, uses interactive methods, and utilizes technology to create an interesting and supportive learning atmosphere. Good classroom management also includes maintaining the cleanliness and regularity of the learning environment.  Students who study in a classroom with good management tend to be more active than students in a class with less than optimal management. In addition, students' internal factors such as interests, talents, and motivation also affect their involvement in the learning process. Mr. Agus Suhendra plays an important role in overcoming differences in student activity levels, by providing motivation, special attention, and awards. Interaction between students is also a factor that can spur their enthusiasm for learning. In the context of the independent curriculum, the use of diagnostic tests helps teachers understand student characteristics more deeply to create relevant and effective learning. With good classroom management by Mr. Agus Suhendra and policy support from Mr. Arif Hidayat, students' motivation and learning activity can be improved, as well as help them understand the importance of education to achieve optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of infrastructure facilities at MI Unggulan Manna Was Salwa as an effort to support learning efficiency. Infrastructure management is a facility management activity to support the implementation of optimal teaching activities in educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with those responsible for managing infrastructure facilities, and analysis of related documentation. The main informants of the study included the madrasah head, administrative staff, and teachers. Data analysis was conducted systematically through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that infrastructure management at MI Unggulan Manna Was Salwa involves five main stages, namely planning, procurement, maintenance, inventory, and elimination. In the planning stage, the focus is directed at identifying infrastructure needs in accordance with the curriculum and the number of students. The procurement stage involves transparent budget management. The maintenance stage is carried out periodically to ensure the continuity of facility functions. Inventory is carried out with detailed data collection of all facilities, while the deletion stage is applied to facilities that are no longer suitable for use. Theoretically, this study contributes to the development of literature related to educational infrastructure management, especially in the context of madrasah. Practically, the results of this study can serve as a guide for other educational institutions in managing infrastructure effectively and efficiently to support learning activities. Thus, this research is expected to encourage the improvement of the quality of education through optimal facility management.

The method used is a Qualitative study, namely an interview with the Deputy Head of Curriculum of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman regarding the three main elements of the research focus. which then the data will be reduced and made relevant to the results of previous research through journals and books to create further understanding. The results obtained indicate that SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman has implemented an innovative learning system, namely developing discipline by accustoming students to be active in class and limiting the use of cellphones at school, and spiritual experience, namely obeying Islamic religious knowledge through reciting the Koran according to their abilities, with levels of tajwid, tilawah, the Koran, and memorization. And there is an istighfar treatment for students who violate the rules inside and outside of learning, they are asked to reflect on the mistakes they have made. Because this school is an Islamic school, teachers are required to help students understand the teachings of the Koran and Hadith. This innovation is given to prepare students for the future.

Abstract

This study aims at curriculum management at SMA Negeri 1 Cerme, focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the Vice Principal for Curriculum, observation of management practices, analysis of supporting documents. The results showed that the curriculum planning stage was carried out systematically by considering educational objectives, mapping basic competencies, and providing adequate teaching materials. The implementation stage includes learning time allocation policies, conversion of practice hours, determination of minimum hours of subjects, and preparation of a structured academic calendar. However, the evaluation stage of curriculum management is still incidental, carried out only when certain obstacles arise, without a systematic and sustainable approach. This study recommends the need to strengthen the capacity of educators through continuous training and the application of technology to support the monitoring and evaluation process. In addition, intensive collaboration between schools, educators, students and communities is needed to ensure the active involvement of all stakeholders in the curriculum management process.
