Abstract

Electric cars are an alternative in reducing environmental pollution due to combustion products. Electric cars require lead acid batteries as a substitute for fuel oil, so a battery charger is needed that can speed up charging and be safe. This research uses two sources of battery charging, namely PLN and solar panels. When the electric car is operated, the charger system is from solar panels while the charger with PLN energy is used when the weather is cloudy or the electric car is parked at home. Charging the battery in this electric car uses 2 MPPT units and one intelligent battery charger unit. MPPT conduct electric current from the solar panels to the battery at a maximum of 3.3 Amperes. Charging the battery from 40% level to 100% level takes 5 hours. Irntelligent battery charger flows current from the PLN source to the battery. The time needed to charge the battery from 40% to 100% level for 5 hours. The largest battery charging current from a PLN source is 10.5 A while from a solar panel is 3.3 A.

Abstract

The sunlight received by solar panel is not fully maximized because the sun's movement is not always above the panel. This causes the electrical energy generated is not optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a method using a reflector mirror to increase the yield of electrical energy that comes from sunlight. The parabolic method is used in this research, with the reflector mirror attached to the parabolic frame and a concave mirror serving as the focal point. In its application, incoming sunlight will hit a reflector mirror, which then reflects light to a concave mirror, which serves as the focal point. So that sunlight will be focused on the solar panel, which results in the light from the sun being optimized. The measured voltage and current values will be stored in a data logger using a microSD module. Based on the results of the research, the power generated by solar panels with parabolic reflector is 10.5% greater than that generated by solar panel with flat mirror reflector and 31.23% greater than that generated by solar panel without reflector.   Keywords: Sunlight,Solar Panel,Data Logger,Reflector, Electrical Energy

Abstract

One of the marine resources that needs to be developed is fish. In certain seasons the catch of fishermen is very abundant. Therefore it is necessary to have technology in processing fish caught by fishermen or cultivated fish. In this study, a fish processing tool was created by smoking. In smoking fish so that it is fit for consumption, it must comply with applicable standards, one of which is the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The smoked fish oven has a length of 85 cm, a width of 45 cm and a height of 140 cm using stainless steel material. The process of making the oven is carried out using a shielded metal arc welding process using the added material E 316. The smoked fish oven is made using skilled personnel and supervision is carried out starting from reading drawings, marking on the material, cutting and assembling processes. Deformation handling is very necessary in the welding process to get a good construction shape.

Abstract

This research is to design and manufacture a vertical boiler for boiling tofu. Conventional boiling of tofu takes a long time, for 10 kg of mashed soybeans it takes up to 60 minutes. Therefore a boiler is designed to speed up the boiling process. The designed boiler is a vertical type boiler with firetube boiler pipes using the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) design standard and making design drawings using the Autodesk Inventor software version 2017. The results of the study obtained the internal pressure boiler design specifications of 3 bar and operating pressure of 2 bar. With the dimensions of the boiler, namely a diameter of 500 mm, a height of 1200 mm and in it there are fire pipes with a diameter of 40 mm, a length of 100 mm and a total of 17 pieces. The material used is carbon steel SA 285 GRADE C and seamless carbon steel pipes SA 53 Grade B. Seamless carbon steel SA 53 Grade B and the fuel used is wood. Initial test results by varying the pressure from 1, 1.5, 2, and 2.5 bar with an average heating time of about 50 minutes with air temperature reaching 122 0C and steam temperature 130 0C.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems faced at the company about good documentation practice error, this is due to the absence of work instructions to double-check the documentation carried out. This study aims to reduce good documentation practice errors in plasma production areas by adding work instructions, namely double-checking each documentation. The methods used in this study are observational research methods, documentation, interviews, and Garret Rank methods. The conclusion of the study is that at company already has SOPs on good documentation practice and has followed them in accordance with the good documentation practice standards that have been written.

Abstract

This research was conducted to compare the CPU processing time between Quantum Hadamard Edge Detection (QHED), Canny, and Sobel in Palm Oil Plantation Image Edge Detection with several pixel resolution variations. In QHED, several qubits are used, namely 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 qubits, while the number of qubits greater than 12 cannot be tested due to the limited RAM memory of the device in this study. The final result of this research proves that QHED can detect the edge of an image with the fastest processing time at the number of qubits 6, while the best image edge detection quality lies at the number of qubits 2. In addition, the comparison of QHED, Canny, and Sobel results in CPU processing time where Canny and Sobel are still faster than QHED, but the quality of image edge detection is still better in QHED.   Keywords: Quantum, Hadamard, Edge Detection

Abstract

An inventory information system is a system that functions to find out the inventory of goods in warehouses that are used or developed with various technologies. The Happy Mart store does not yet have an inventory information system, where currently the management of inventory in the warehouse is still done manually, and the recording of inventory is still stored in the general ledger. Therefore, the Happy Mart store requires an inventory management system in the warehouse so that inventory management and recording at the Happy Mart store can run efficiently. This system is built based on a website and applies the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) calculation method to determine the optimal number of goods ordered. This research has conducted black box testing with the results of the system in accordance with the specifications and requirements, user acceptance testing with the results of this system can help the store manage goods and be able to manage relevant reports and data for future business decision making, and usability testing with an overall result of 94%, which means that this system is easy to understand and easy to understand by users so that users feel satisfied with the system being built. Abstract

This study aims to determine the internal and external environmental factors that affect the marketing strategy of Bengkel Tanjak Rumah Hitam Community to find out the marketing alternatives that can be chosen by Bengkel Tanjak Rumah Hitam Community that are suitable for marketing their products. This research was conducted at the Bengkel Tanjak Rumah Hitam Community. The method used in this research is TOWS (threat, opportunity, weakness, and strength) with a qualitative approach. From the results of the study, it is known that the position of the Bengkel Tanjak Rumah Hitam Community has high strength from its internal factors and has high opportunities from its external factors, so the strategy that is suitable for marketing is the S-O (Strength-Opportunity) strategy where the company supports an aggressive strategy, namely seizing existing opportunities by utilizing its strengths

Abstract

This research proposes the use of DevSecOps with the Static Application Security Testing (SAST) approach using the Snyk platform to enhance efficiency and security in the software development process. The SAST methodology enables testing of potential cybersecurity exploits during the system's building and maintenance phases. By employing Snyk, a security scanning platform that can integrate with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and support container or cloud-based applications, developers can automatically and comprehensively scan their code, Quantitative testing was conducted by scanning 10 websites of Politeknik Caltex Riau, revealing a total of 1089 vulnerabilities, with the majority falling into the "Low" category. These findings indicate that low-level vulnerabilities dominate the tested systems. Meanwhile, qualitative testing was performed through interviews with programmers as the respondents. During the interviews, programmers stated that the use of Snyk SAST in the development process allowed them to detect security gaps before releasing to the public. They also found Snyk's recommendations and suggestions valuable for making improvements. Abstract

PT Rovina Jaya Sentosa is a company engaged in property and development that provides modern and energy-efficient residential places. Based on the interview results, this method of conveying the offered products is not efficient since it relies on oral communication. Therefore, a sales and service ordering information system is needed to attract clients’ interest and improve the image of PT Rovina Jaya Sentosa. In this research, a sales and service ordering information system has been developed for PT Rovina Jaya Sentosa using the waterfall method. The waterfall method is a sequential development approach, meaning the software development is carried out systematically and sequentially. This system provides information about the existence of PT Rovina Jaya Sentosa and the process of ordering products and services for its customers. The testing of the system using Black Box and User Acceptance Test (UAT) demonstrated that the functionality of the system runs well and meets user requirements. Additionally, the questionnaire testing results from 30 people who have used the system obtained an overall score of 87%, indicating that the Sales Information System at PT Rovina Jaya Sentosa is ready to be used by the public.   Keywords: Ordering System, PT Rovina Jaya Sentosa, Information System, Waterfall.
