Abstract

Background: Based on the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018, it was stated that people suffering from chronic diseases had increased compared to the 2013 Riskesdas data, including hypertension. Patients with hypertension need to be vigilant because this disease often does not cause symptoms and can cause death. This is a challenge for the government to be able to cope with the increasing population of hypertension patients in the community. Adherence and good understanding in carrying out therapy can affect blood pressure and gradually prevent complications. The Chronic Disease Management Program (PROLANIS) is a government program that involves participants, health facilities, and BPJS Kesehatan in an integrated manner as an effort to achieve therapeutic targets and optimal quality of life in an effective and efficient manner. Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the effect of education on medication adherence to PROLANIS patients at Puskesmas Gamping 1 Yogyakarta. Methods: This research is non experimental research and is analytic observational in nature. Data were collected retrospectively in June-September 2018, then the data were analyzed using the chi-square method. Result: Based on the data obtained, the distribution of adherence to the use of antihypertensive drugs was high adherence of 21.35%, moderate adherence was 48.31%, and low adherence was 28.10%. Conclusion: This study also shows that there is a significant relationship between the provision of education and compliance with PROLANIS patients taking medication at Puskesmas Gamping 1 Yogyakarta.

Researcher compared the patient's condition before and after treatment of cold pack. Intervention was carried out for three consecutive days with administration twice daily for 20 minutes. The instruments used in this case study are assessment sheets and pain scale measurement observation sheets using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: Before being given a cold pack compress, Mr. A's pain scale was moderate (scale 5). After being given three consecutive days of action, patient’s pain scale decreased to mild (scale 1). Conclusion: The application of cold pack intervention effectively reduces the pain scale in ORIF post-op patients.

Abstract

Background: Childbirth is a process of giving birth through a natural event where contractions of the mother's uterus are carried out by opening the baby. Labor pain is an unpleasant condition during the birth process which is a complex condition and has individual sensory components. The technique for reducing labor pain is done using the Lamaze relaxation technique and jasmine aromatherapy. Explaining the management of lamaze relaxation techniques and jasmine aromatherapy with the problem of acute pain in the first active phase of labor. Method: qualitative descriptive research using case studies. A total of 3 subjects were used for research who experienced acute labor pain in the first active phase. Several instruments were used to obtain data from research subjects. The sampling technique for this research uses non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. Data analysis uses 4 methods, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. Research Results: data from three subjects stated that pain in the lower abdomen was due to uterine contractions, stabbing pain on a scale of 4-6 felt intermittently every 5 minutes for 30 seconds, facial expressions were grimacing with teeth clenched to endure the pain, occasionally moaning in pain, looks restless, seems to be holding his stomach, TTV : BP : 100/60-120/80 mmHg, N : 86-94 x/minute, RR : 20 x/minute, S : 36-37o C. Nursing Diagnosis of acute pain related to uterine contractions. The actions taken were the Lamaze relaxation technique and administering jasmine aromatherapy for 3 cycles, each cycle lasting 20 minutes. Abstract

Background: Coronavirus is a family of coronaviridae viruses because it has a wreath-shaped protrusion on the viral envelope. A new type of coronavirus, namely Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) attacks the respiratory system causing pneumonia.Lack of knowledge about the Covid-19 pandemic can lead to various kinds of speculation about the spread of the Corona virus. So the government needs to provide good information about the Covid-19 pandemic. The best way to control and prevent this disease is to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. Breaking the chain of transmission can be carried out by implementing health protocols in a disciplined manner, namely by frequently washing hands with running water and soap or using hand sanitizers, using masks and not touching the face area before washing hands, and keeping a distance in every activity or what is known as the 3M. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a research design using a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with random sampling type and the sample size is 50 people. Results: The results of data analysis using the Kendall's Tau-b statistical test show a P value of 0.004 < 0.005 which indicates Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted or there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of the elderly and the behavior of preventing transmission of COVID 19. The elderly are expected to know knowledge about COVID 19 and its prevention.
