Abstract

Antioxidants are compounds that have a molecular structure that can donate electrons to free radical molecules and can break the chain reaction of free radicals. This research was conducted to analyze the flavonoid content in the ethanol extract of ketepeng cina leaves and to determine the antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract and the fraction of the ketepeng cina leaves. This research is an experimental descriptive study. Ketepeng cina leaves were extracted using 96% ethanol, then partitioned using the liquid-liquid partition method. Flavonoid levels were determined using UV-VIS spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 435 nm. Antioxidant activity test using the ABTS method at a wavelength of 740 nm. The results showed that the flavonoid content of the ethanol extract of the ketepeng cina leaves was 11,054 ± 0.228 QE. The results of the antioxidant activity test of the ethanol extract, n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction, and water fraction with IC50 values were 23,709 ppm, 106,598 ppm, 14,534 ppm, and 49,844 ppm, respectively. The highest antioxidant activity was indicated by the ethyl acetate fraction with an IC50 value of 14,534 ppm with very strong activity

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic condition caused by increasing glucose level in blood. Long term use of antidiabetic drugs can cause various unwanted side effects, which makes people with diabetes try to use natural materials to control blood glucose levels. The aim of this study was to determine the antidiabetic activity of ethanol extract guava leaves (Psidium guajava) on male mice with alloxan induction. Mice were induced intravenously by alloxan dose of 160 mg/kg bw. After 7 days, mice were diabetic (blood glucose levels > 175 mg/dL) and were divided into 5 groups: negative control group (only treated with CMC-Na) ,positive control group (glibenclamide 0.65 mg/kg bw) and the 3 other groups were given ethanol extract guava leaves (Psidium guajava) at doses of 150 ,300 and 600 mg/kg bw. Dosage administered for 15 days and blood glucose levels was checked every 3 days using a glucotest. Data were analyzed by LSD (Least Significant Difference). Ethanol extract guava leaves (Psidium guajava) at doses of 150 ,300 and 600 mg/kg bw can lower blood sugar levels from day 3 to day 15 and was significantly different compared to the negative control group (p<0,05). Ethanol extract guava leaves (Psidium guajava) at doses of 150 ,300 and 600 mg/kg bw showed antidiabetic activity on male mice with alloxan induction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of carbon emission disclosures in moderating the effect of firm characteristics such as leverage on firm value. This study's sample companies are manufacturing firms that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2015 and 2021. Leverage are the independent variables in this study. The dependent variable in this study is the company's value, and the moderating variable is carbon emission disclosure. The fixed effect model is the analytical method used. According to the test results leverage has no direct positive effect on firm value and leverage has a negative effect on firm value that is moderated by CED.

Anxiety, which was one of the problems that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic, turned out to be a problem also when the Covid-19 vaccine was available. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and students' willingness to participate in the covid-19 vaccination at MTsN 1 Wonogiri. The results of the research eliminate anxiety in the face of vaccination and publication of scientific journals as a form of the tri dharma of higher education. The analytical descriptive research method with a cross sectional approach was chosen in this study to determine the relationship between anxiety and the willingness of students at MTsN 1 Wonogiri. This study uses a snowball sampling technique considering the condition is still a pandemic, so filling out the questionnaire using a google form with the cooperation of the school. The results of his research from 150 respondents, 131 respondents experienced mild anxiety and 19 respondents experienced moderate anxiety. For data on willingness to be vaccinated, out of 150 respondents, 144 students were willing to be vaccinated and 6 students were not willing to be vaccinated. For bivariate data, out of 131 students who experienced mild anxiety, 4 of them were not willing to be vaccinated because they had never been exposed to information about vaccination. Meanwhile, of the 19 students who experienced moderate anxiety, 2 of them were not willing to vaccinate without a clear reason for not being willing to vaccinate. In conclusion; there is a significant relationship between anxiety and willingness to vaccinate students at MTsN 1 Wonogiri. Suggestions for providing information and socialization about vaccination are very important to be carried out / given to increase the coverage of vaccination targets in the community

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of information technology to remote auditing during the covid 19 pandemic. Covid 19 has changed the work style of auditors in the manual/traditional audit process to remote audit, as a solution in dealing with the impact of the pandemic. This condition demands that the auditor profession in preparing or dealing with remote audits will be closely related to the use of information technology. This research method is literature review. The data is obtained from articles uploaded on Google, Google Scholar and Sciencedirect with the keyword: remote audit and information technology. After collecting, a descriptive analysis was carried out to answer the research objectives. The result is that during the COVID-19 pandemic, remote auditing has become a solution to the impacts of covid 19, such as social distancing. Auditors in carrying out remote audits need information technology facilities in the audit process. Information technology has a vital role in remote auditing from planning, working papers, documentation, communication and supervision. Information technology is an integral part of remote auditing.
