Abstract

For businesses to attract new clients, e-Commerce is considered an excellent option. Many e-commerce sites are occasionally short-lived. The ePortalStore follows the pattern of algorithms by popular search engines like yahoo, Google or msn. The simplest algorithm of these search engines tell us that any updates over the site should be sourced internally. This means that the administrator or affiliates do the changes and not the “feeds”, redirection links or some autopilot robot. The owner can easily expand its business since it uses the Internet over any browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera) and allows virtual interaction with the system. The template is compatible to these browsers. There are two sides of the ePortalStore, the public web portal “ePortalStore.com”, where anybody can visit the site subject to compliance of its policies and conditions.. However, the user can’t cross from client-side to server-side using his login details. Email notification is one of the benefits of the registered user for any updates of products, discounts, and other related information. In the ePortalStore, the affiliate’s term was used to allow itself to grow using other vendors support (B2B2C). It has two additional options either to “wish list” or just compare. In some instances, there may be problems with the affiliates but the administrator can easily disable the user. An administrator may use phpmyadmin manually for the login details. User group is also applied for the type of user in the server and what file to handle. Other details upon initialization are also important to make the product more interesting and convince the visitor to become customer. The proponent hopes to contribute to other researcher the basic requirement for Business to Business using online and the controversial SEO which follows from search engine algorithms (Google, Yahoo).

Abstract

Indonesia since 2020 has implemented the Work From Home to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19. facing a pandemic because the Covid-19 virus emerged from Wuhan, China. To meet the needs, the constant saturation, and the anxiety that comes from being too afraid of this virus. In fact, mental health is very important for work or even more productive activities, because if we are mentally and mentally healthy, physically we can follow activities properly. So maintaining mental health is very important in order to be able to face the pandemic atmosphere and still have a purpose in life. It doesn't just stop there, the pandemic also attacks everyone mentally, economic instability causes people to work harder and be depressed. Therefore, this paper is written to propose the idea of ​​a mental health consultation system as a mediator to increase life expectancy. Economic instability causes people to work harder and pressured to make ends meet, the boredom that continues to be felt, and the anxiety that is present from being too afraid of the virus. The method used in this paper is the literature study method and the existence of a design system called the prototyping method. Literature study is carried out by collecting relevant information on topics that are the object of research from books, scientific papers, theses, dissertations, and journals, while prototypes are the development stage before heading to actual large / scale production. The result that will be obtained is enough feeling to be an entertainer and a solution for everyone who is already at a point of hopelessness or who just wants to get answers to his anxiety so far, in order to increase life expectancy and strengthen mentally after counseling.

Abstract

Games are fun playing activities. In the past, most children and adolescents played games with physical activities, but nowadays children and adolescents play games with their gadgets. Excessive gaming activity can lead to addiction. Game addiction can cause mental illness, even physical illness. This study aims to help gamers as well as the general public to better understand the symptoms of game addiction and early solutions to game addiction. This study uses forward chaining as a plot, namely by collecting symptoms to find the level of addiction and certainty factors as a calculation by calculating the level of trust and distrust of symptoms. In this study, game addiction resulted in 3 levels, low level game addiction, medium level game addiction and high level game addiction.

Abstract

The productivity of plant cultivation can be increased through intensive care and maintenance. Maintenance and maintenance consist of applying fertilizers or nutrients, weeding, pruning, and watering. Watering systems in hydroponic, aquaponic, and other plant cultivation will affect crop yields. Watering is important in maintaining lost moisture during the day, and at night as a substitute for the moisture lost at night. This study aims to design a watering tool for plant cultivation using the help of digital Internet of Things (IoT) technology. To make plant cultivation there is no lack and excess of water and nutrients. This tool can do watering remotely and can monitor moisture and soil temperature conditions via a smartphone device. Apart from helping farmers, this tool can be installed in plantations, nurseries, city parks, hotels, offices, and homes.

Abstract

Internet and Web technologies provide students with the ease of communication to lecturers, accessing learning resources, and submitting the assignment. One of that technologies is Blended Learning. Blended learning has been growing in demand and popularity and widely used in the modern higher education system with the implementation of a learning management system (LMS). As a result, Blended Learning generates large amounts of student’s information that can be used to invent valuable patterns and get hidden and useful information. This study analyzed data extracted from a Moodle-based blended learning course in STMIK XYZ that is called SIMPONI and SPON, to build a student model that predicts academic performance. Data Mining Classification Techniques were used to predict it based on Semester GPA. Various factors like demographics, economics and information about previous education are considered in analyzing academic performance. Rapid Miner software package was used for prediction and the result is a model by which could determine academic performance: passed with a CGPA above or equal to 2.5 and failed with a CGPA below 2.5 This model may give information for STMIK XYZ to early intervention and to outcome the poor GPA. Various classification algorithms are used to select the best algorithm in finding the better prediction model.

Abstract

The organization continually endeavors to create and improve the information on representatives associated with key business measures. It expects to make organization information in accomplishing upper hand. Inside an organization, the division that assumes the main part in obliging representatives' information needs is the Human Resource Department (HRD). Prior to building up information the board framework in an organization, particularly the Human Resources Department, it is important to direct a more inside and out investigation in regards to the effect that the organization has in the wake of executing the information the executive's framework, so partners can comprehend the effect that information the board has on an organization, particularly the HR Department. Subsequently, to control the HR Department to execute Knowledge Management, this precise writing survey (SLR) will try to address this inquiry: "what is the positive and negative impact that Knowledge Management brings to an organization, particularly Human Resource Department?". Abstract

One of the efforts that can be done is to detect the object of the spread of the virus, including at human body temperature. The use of a Thermal Camera in measuring human body temperature is felt to be the most effective because it can be done without touching the object being measured so that it can avoid physical contact that can actually transmit the Covid-19 virus. The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has recently been increasingly needed. IoT technology is generally developed as a solution to the need for improving remote monitoring via the internet. Telecommunication engineering laboratory of Medan State Polytechnic (Polmed) as a gathering place for students to carry out practicums really needs a system that can help prevent the development of the Covid-19 virus. In this study, a Covid-19 spread safety system in the new normal era at the Polmed telecommunication laboratory will be designed which uses a thermal camera to remotely measure the body temperature of students who will carry out practicum in the laboratory and the measurement results will be displayed in monitor screen. In designing this system, students will have their body temperature measured using the UNI-T UTi165K thermal camera with a measuring distance of 0.5 - 2 meters and those who can enter the laboratory room are students who have a body temperature of not more than 37.5 ° C. The system that is designed will also be equipped with an ichamber as a sterilization booth using a disinfectant that is sprayed automatically on students who are deemed fit to enter the laboratory and the automatic hand sanitizer will also be used in the laboratory room as an effort to prevent Covid-19 transmission. From the results of the discussion, it was found that the security system for the spread of Covid-19 in the new normal era at the Polmed telecommunication engineering laboratory based on IoT was successfully implemented and worked well. The UNI-T UTi165K thermal camera works well in detecting human body temperature from 0.5 to 2 meters. The average percentage of the UNI-T UTi165K thermal camera reading error for 0.5 m to 2 m is 0.352%. The UNI-T UTi165K thermal camera reading accuracy rate for 0.5 m to 2 m is 99.648%.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of integrated web-based learning approach in enhancing the academic performance in Science of Grade 7 students. The researcher used the quasi-experimental research design in to attain the objectives. Specifically, this study used the pretest-posttest non-equivalent control design in assigning groups and in applying the treatments. The study was conducted from January, 2019 to March 2019 comprising the fourth grading period. A 40-item researcher-made test questionnaire was used to determine the performance of Grade 7 students in both the control and experimental groups before and after the treatment. Data were gathered, collated and analyzed using mean, standard deviation and t-test for independent sample at 5% level of significance. The pretests mean score in the control group was 75.00 and the experimental group was 76.20, both at the developing level. The posttest mean score rating in the control group was 78.20 and remained at the developing level, while the experimental group was 85.10, increased to approaching proficient level. The mean gain rating of the Grade 7 science students in experimental group was 13.97 higher compared to the mean rating of control group that is 9.23 not exposed to integrated web-based learning approach. No significant difference on the pretest mean score ratings between Grade 7 students who were exposed and not exposed to the integrated web-based learning approach while a significant difference on the posttest mean score were noted. Furthermore, there was a significant difference on the mean gain score ratings of Grade 7 students in Science utilizing the traditional method and integrated web-based learning approach. Integrated web-based learning approach was found effective in improving the academic achievement of Grade 7 students in Science.

Abstract

At this time, where the COVID-19 pandemic caused by a new type of corona virus is occurring, the demands in the health sector are becoming heavy. Seeing the increasing number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 patients and the number of existing cases of death, a solution is needed to deal with this crisis. Artificial Intelligence and Big Data are technologies that can be adapted to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. This review will discuss how technology based on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data can be implemented to help medical personnel carry out initial diagnoses and various kinds of research to assist drug and vaccine discovery.

Abstract

CV. Anyar Komputer is a company for repair services, sales and purchases of laptops and PC computers. Customer from CV. Anyar ordinary computer from individuals and offices / companies. Current business processes at CV Anyar Komputer in recording computer or other hardware repair activities are still recorded in the ledger and there is no written evidence for customers who repair their devices, so customers have to come again to the store to ask about the status of the development of the repaired devices . From the data obtained, there were more than 10 customers who came to repair the device at CV. Anyar Computer. Meanwhile, in the process of purchasing computers, it is still recorded in the ledger, the difficulty is when doing financial reports takes a long time because the process is done manually and does not use the help of machines in making financial reports. With technological developments that force people to work quickly, CV. Anyar Komputer must develop in the transaction process and documentation in its business processes. Analysis of e-commerce needs for web student computer sales was chosen because there are already many companies and computer shops that sell website-based goods. This website-based e-commerce is designed with 4 user access rights, namely administrators, technicians, leaders, and customers. The system development method used is a prototype where the stages used are only up to the design stage. This study does not discuss the return of goods to suppliers and consumers. Business process analysis using PIECES and Data Flow Diagrams. used for data flow modeling. The results of this study are 1 databases with 6 tables designed, interface design for 4 user access rights
