Abstract

There is a need to investigate the regulation of legal accountability of a Sole Director who is also the founder of the company in a micro and small Limited Liability company based on Article 153 letter J of the Job Creation Law, because of the possibility of an ill-intentioned Director trying to protect his/her personal assets and assuming liability only for the shares he owns. Based on the aforementioned background, the problems in this study can be formulated as follow: 1. How is the accountability of a Sole Directors in a micro or small Limited Liability company regulated? and 2. What is the form of legal accountability for the sole Director in a micro and small Limited Liability company? The type of legal research used in this study is normative juridical research. The form of legal liability of a Sole Director in a micro or small Limited Liability company is closely linked to the principle of limited liability of the Board of Directors. If the requirement of having 2 (two) persons is not met, it will result in the limited accountability of the Limited Liability company becoming unlimited accountability. Unlimited accountability means that all legal actions and losses of the Limited Liability company become the personal liability of the founder or shareholder.

Abstract

The availability of raw material resources for the steel industry is one of Indonesia's supporting capacities to achieve steel industry independence. Indonesia has the largest iron ore processing company in Southeast Asia, namely PT. XYZ. Production activities of PT. XYZ includes the production of raw materials, the production and sale of semi-finished steel, and the production of steel such as steel billets, HRC and CRC, steel wire rods (WR), reinforcing steel, profile steel, and steel pipes according to the specifications required by consumers. The fulfillment of industrial production capacity cannot be separated from energy needs. Reducing costs in the energy sector without reducing production capacity is one solution in increasing production capacity. This research was conducted to determine the potential use of magnetic generators as a strategy to increase production efficiency of PT. XYZ by using the theory of cost effectiveness. This research was conducted through discussions with various related parties and stakeholders in order to determine the standard requirements for the type of energy supply for industry. Then, a literature study related to the supply of energy types was carried out in accordance with the limitations of the problem, namely the energy potential of a magnetic generator. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been described, it can be concluded that the analysis of the break-even point of EGM and existing electrical energy shows that EGM with a capacity of 10 kW is able to achieve profits after a minimum steel production capacity of 2,055.94 tons and a return on investment in the third year which means more faster than the theoretical service time capability of 20 years. By considering the results of the break even point (BEP) and cost effectife analysis (CEA) analysis, it is concluded that from the economic aspect, EGM has the potential as an alternative to substitute new energy sources at PT. XYZ.

Abstract

The production of shallots can still be increased through technical improvements in cultivation, such as the application of organic fertilizers and the eruption of Mount Merapi (volcanic ash). Organic fertilizers have a significant role in improving the chemical and biological properties of the soil and do not have a negative impact on the environment, although the nutrient content of manure is not as high as that of artificial fertilizers. This study aims to determine the effect of chicken manure and volcanic ash on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L). The research method used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of two treatment factors, namely factor I chicken manure ( A) and factor II volcanic ash (V). The results showed that the application of chicken manure had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, tuber diameter, tuber wet weight, tuber dry weight. Volcanic ash treatment had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, tuber diameter, tuber number, tuber wet weight, and tuber dry weight. The interaction between chicken manure and volcanic ash had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber diameter, tuber wet weight, and tuber dry weight.
