Abstract

The potential of marine resources in Sorong Regency, West Papua is very abundant, especially in the fisheries sector. The abundant potential of tuna makes it an attractive commodity. Fishery products are foodstuffs that are susceptible to post-catching spoilage so that they can last a long time, a canning process is needed. This study aims to analyze income, costs and investment decisions at a fish canning factory in Sorong Regency to obtain the feasibility of a project with quantitative research methods, because this study seeks to determine the value of the feasibility indicators of an investment project. The result of the investment criteria is an NPV of Rp. 7,841,604,054.00 is greater than zero, the IRR value is 97.84% greater than the 14% interest rate and the Net B/C value is 2.44 greater than one. The payback period is achieved within 2 years 7 months 6 days, meaning this business can cover the initial investment costs before the end of the business life. The sensitivity analysis carried out shows that the canned fish canning factory is feasible to run as long as the project runs according to the assumptions and technical parameters specified.

Abstract

At the end of 2001 ASEAN and China agreed on free trade in Bandar Sri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, known as the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA). Periodically, ASEAN and China make agreements, one of the goals of which is to eliminate or cut barriers to trade in goods, both tariffs and non-tariffs. Under ACFTA, tariff reduction began in July 2005 and aims to cut import duties to zero by 2010 on about four thousand types of goods for the relatively developed ASEAN countries namely Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Brunei. The Gravity Model predicts trade based on distances and interactions between countries in terms of their economic size. The Gravity Model in economics imitates Newton's law of gravity which also takes into account the physical distance and size between two objects. The application of this model to explain economic phenomena regarding the interaction between the two countries has been widely carried out by economists. The study uses panel data from China and ASEAN6 in the 2010-2020 research period with ASEAN6 exports to China as the dependent variable, and the independent variables include the GDP of the destination country and the country of origin, economic distance proxied in the form of transportation tariffs, exchange rates and economic openness. Panel data regression analysis was used to see the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable by determining the best model (common effect, fixed effect, random effect) and the classical assumption test performed was the multicollinearity test and the heteroscedasticity test. The results showed that the GDP of destination and origin countries, distance, and exchange rates significantly affected the export value of ASEAN6 to China. Meanwhile, economic openness has no significant effect on the value of ASEAN6 exports to China.

Abstract

Ensuring an accurate diagnosis is critical for limiting the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and for the clinical management of COVID-19, especially in pregnant women. For now real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) is the currently recommended laboratory method for the diagnosis of acute SARS-CoV-2 infection. More recently, several easy-to-perform rapid antigen detection tests have been developed and are recommended as first-line screening test in several countries. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the comparative performance of a rapid antibody test and RT-PCR for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 infection, as a front-line test for the diagnosis of COVID-19 in pregnancy. This research method is a descriptive study to describe comparation of sensitivity and specificity between rapid SARS-CoV-2 antibody test to the gold standard nasopharyngeal RT-PCR swab test. Of the 271 samples, only 257 were eligible and fourteen cases were excluded from the study due to a lack of rapid antibody test and RT-PCR results. The results of this study showed that the rapid SARS-CoV-2 antibody test sensitivity was 80.95%, and the specificity was 90.68%, the NPV (negative predictive value) and the PPV (positive prognosis value) were 98.17% and 43.59%, respectively. Based only on the results of IgM and IgG, IgM and IgG sensitivity were 33.33% (7/21) and 71.43% (15/21), respectively, and the specificity was 91.1% (215/236, 21 false positive) and 91.53% (216/236, 20 false positive), respectively. The use of rapid antibody tests during pregnancy is a screening tool and is not currently applicable for diagnostic tool. To minimize false positives and negatives results, the use of rapid antibody tests should be combined with the RT-PCR test results.

Abstract

The extraction of the main content of web pages is widely used in search engines, but a lot of irrelevant information, such as advertisements, navigation, and junk information, is included in web pages. Such irrelevant information reduces the efficiency of web content processing in content-based applications. This study aimed to extract web pages using DOM Tree in the rationality of segmentation results and efficiency based on the information entropy of nodes from the DOM Tree. The first step of this research was to classify web page tags and only processed tags that affected the structure of the page. The second step was to consider the content features and structural features of the DOM Tree node comprehensively. The next was to perform node fusion to obtain segmentation results. Segmentation testing was carried out with several web pages with different structures so that it showed that the proposed method accurately and quickly segmented and removed noise from web page content. After the DOM Tree was formed, the DOM Tree would be matched with the database to eliminate information noise using the Firefly Optimization algorithm. Then, testing and evaluating the Firefly Optimization method in effectiveness aspect were done to detect and eliminate web page noise and produce clear documents.

Abstract

Information technology aims to advance human activities. Even now it has penetrated into the field of education, as a process and industrial sector, education cannot be separated from the field of information and technology. In the implementation of the academic process, the State University of Surabaya, which has 30,000 students, faces several obstacles in predicting the students' graduation time on time. The information system owned has not been used optimally to predict the time of student graduation. It is difficult to predict because this university does not have an exact time prediction pattern to use as a basis for predicting the number of students who will graduate on time. In helping these problems, the researcher provides a solution, namely building a data mining algorithm model to predict the exact time of graduation for Surabaya State University students. The data used are Strata-1 (S1) PTI, SI and TI students from 2014-2018. The methodology in this study is FAST (Framework For The Application Of System Thinking) using the Neural Network (NN) algorithm 761 student data with the input value of the artificial neural network method 4, hidden layer 5 and output 2 providing an accuracy of 99.85%. Details of late predictions are 98.06% as many as 101 students and correct predictions are 99.85% as many as 657 students. Shows that the Neural Network can be used as a prediction of the graduation of Strata-1 (S1) PTI, SI, and IT students at the State University of Surabaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to integrate social exchange theory, social identity theory and motivation theory, so as to produce a new concept of the Emotional Empowerment Collaborative model. The next discussion describes the concept of the Emotional Empowerment Collaborative model. In social exchange among lecturers as the main asset of the university, it is necessary to form a discussion group/forum that is emotionally involved specifically to discuss issues of publication journals that are developing in a theoretical and practical competitive environment so as to provide energy/enthusiasm among group members to compete. Along with the increasing competition between universities, both at home and abroad, the quality of lecturers is high. One of the benchmarks for higher education quality is the number of scientific works produced by lecturers published in national and international journals. However, the fact is that the interest of lecturers in conducting research for publication is still low. The type of this research is exploratory research, measurement of variables by donating, collecting, professional competence and performance of lecturers' scientific publications. The results of this study are knowledge donating and knowledge collecting which are dimensions of knowledge sharing that can positively and significantly increase the publication of lecturers' scientific works in universities.
