Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is very important for industrial operations, including the food processing sector. However, the high rate of work accidents in the Production Division of the SA Sri Anugerah Rice Factory, with a percentage of 54% in the period 2020 to 2024, shows that there are serious problems in the implementation of K3 procedures. This research aims to identify hazards, assess risks, and determine appropriate control measures. The method used was Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC), with data collected through interviews. The results of the study show fluctuations in accidents, starting from 15 cases in 2020 to 22 cases in 2024. The Production Division accounted for the most accidents. Occupational risks range from Low Risk to High Risk, with a high risk in the process of peeling the skin and storage of the sack that has the potential to cause serious injury. Recommended control measures include technical engineering (such as engine guards and exhaust fans), improvements to the work environment (anti-slip flooring and safe storage systems), as well as training, work rotations, and the provision of PPE (masks, eye protection, gloves, support belts). This research provides an overview of occupational safety risks and solutions to create a safe work environment.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Government Regulation No. 36 of 2023 on the financial structure of PT X, a coal mining company in Indonesia, and explores how the company can optimize its capital structure to adapt to the new regulation requiring exporters to deposit 30% of their export proceeds into a special account for a minimum of three months. The research uses a quantitative approach with financial modeling, supported by qualitative interviews with PT X’s finance team and management. The study aims to analyze the company's financial condition before and after the implementation of the regulation, focusing on sales, costs, and liquidity. It also utilizes linear programming optimization with Microsoft Excel's Solver to minimize capital costs and maximize company value. The results indicate a significant shift in PT X's capital structure, with increased debt in 2023 due to the need for short-term financing to comply with the new regulation. The optimization model helps reduce the company’s reliance on debt and improves its financial ratios, such as current ratio and debt-to-equity ratio. This study provides practical insights for stakeholders in managing financial decisions under regulatory constraints and contributes to the broader understanding of capital structure optimization in the mining sector.

Abstract

The main challenge in electricity distribution in Riau and Riau Islands is the high incidence of power line faults. One effort to reduce power line faults is through the installation of FIOHL (Fault Indicator Overhead Line). FIOHL is a device used to detect faults on power lines, which can help quickly identify the location of the fault. In this study, PLN UP2D Riau plans to install 35 FIOHL units on 198 power lines. The objective of this study is to determine the priority order of power lines as the location for installing FIOHLs accurately. By using the Entropy method as a criterion weighting method and PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organisation Method for Enrichment Evaluations), the priority order of alternative solutions for determining the power lines can be obtained. The installation of FIOHL must meet eight criteria: number of outages, outage duration, Energy Not Served (ENS), number of outages without cause, feeder load, network length, number of customers, and keypoint ratio for each feeder. The number of customers has the highest weight at 0.175, followed by network length at 0.152 and ENS at 0.151. The priority locations for FIOHL installation using the PROMETHEE method show that the Maroko feeder ranks first with Phi = 0.6329, followed by the Laos feeder with Phi = 0.6247. The allocation of FIOHL installations across each Implementation Unit (UP3) includes 14 units for UP3 Bangkinang, 14 units for UP3 Dumai, 4 units for Pekanbaru, and 3 units for UP3 Rengat..

Abstract

Lion Air is the airline remaining in operation in Indonesia, serving the community's air transportation requirements. This airline charges low fares. The level of service quality impacts customer loyalty, particularly in transport services. In this context, the three categories of service quality are pre-, in-, and post-flight. This study adopts SERVQUAL Theory and Loyalty Theory as a theoretical review. This research used a quantitative methodology. SEM PLS via route analysis will be used to analyze the gathered data. A total of 260 samples were utilized. According to the study's findings, purchasing intention is positively and significantly impacted by airline image and service quality. Customer loyalty is positively and significantly impacted by purchase intention. Service quality and airline image have a major indirect impact on loyalty via purchasing intention. Thus, purchase intention is a mediating variable that connects customer perceptions of image and service with their decision to remain loyal to Lion Air. This finding provides important implications for Lion Air management to focus on building a positive image and consistency in service to encourage purchase intention and increase customer loyalty in the long term.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMA) on purchase intention, using Fitfuel as a case study. The research examines the impact of SMMA on brand awareness and customer trust, and how these two variables influence purchase intention. A quantitative approach was employed, using online questionnaires distributed to 200 respondents, supported by interviews with Fitfuel's management. The external and internal environment were analyzed through PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, competitor analysis, STP, Marketing Mix, VRIO, and SWOT. Results show that SMMA has a significant positive effect on both brand awareness and customer trust. In turn, both brand awareness and customer trust positively influence purchase intention. However, communication between consumers and the brand (as part of SMMA) was found to have a less significant effect compared to other indicators. The study presents a TOWS matrix and implementation plan to offer strategic actions for Fitfuel to optimize its digital marketing, strengthen brand perception, and increase conversion. This research contributes to understanding how digital marketing components affect customer behavior in the health food sector.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial leverage, return on assets and inflation on underpricing in companies conducting Initial Public Offerings in companies listed on the IDX. The sample used in this study was 181 companies out of a total of 297 using purposive sampling, from the data obtained there were 61% of companies experiencing underpricing, this was caused by several factors, one of which was financial and non-financial factors which were used by both issuers and investors as benchmarks in determining stock price and investment decisions. The company's ability to return assets and debts is a factor that is generally considered by investors in investing in a company, in addition, the ongoing inflation rate is another factor that can reduce the real value of the company's income and profits in the future, making investors demand a high safety margin which results in the company setting a lower IPO price. Therefore, ROA, financial leverage and inflation were chosen as dependent variables in this study. The research method used is quantitative. Based on the research results obtained, financial factors, namely financial leverage and ROA, do not have a significant effect on underpricing, with a p-value of 0.554 and 0.397, while non-financial factors, namely inflation, have a significant effect on underpricing with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Parent-teacher collaboration remains a challenge in many early childhood education settings in Indonesia, necessitating early preparation for prospective teachers. This article aims to examine the role of parenting education in shaping prospective early childhood education (PAUD) teachers who are capable of bridging collaboration between parents and teachers. Using a reflective approach to the Parenting course taught in the Early Childhood Teacher Education Program (PG-PAUD) at UNIPAR Jember, this paper highlights the importance of integrating positive parenting values, empathetic communication, and strengthening the role of the family in the early childhood education process. The method employed is descriptive qualitative, based on classroom reflections and student assignments. The results show that students are able to understand and apply fundamental parenting principles and design simple programs that can be implemented in real contexts. This reflection is significant as it provides a concrete picture of students’ readiness to bridge communication gaps between families and educational institutions, and it illustrates the transformation of the PAUD teacher’s role as a facilitator, mediator, and learning partner for parents. The implication is that parenting education at the tertiary level needs to be continuously strengthened as an integral part of the PG-PAUD curriculum, both theoretically and practically.
