Abstract

The Jatimulya Bekasi LRT station has an important role as a public transportation hub, and the surrounding pedestrian facilities need to be assessed to meet the needs of users. Dissatisfaction with pedestrian facilities can hinder the success of the public transportation system. This study aims to assess satisfaction with pedestrian facilities at the station. The method used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), which groups service attributes based on importance and performance. Assessments were carried out on 24 facility attributes in accordance with the Minimum Service Standards, including pedestrian paths, crossing facilities, surveillance cameras, security officers, waiting areas, and facilities for the disabled. The results of the analysis showed that 84.4% of service attributes had met expectations, while 15.6% still needed improvement. The four attributes that need immediate improvement are crossing facilities, CCTV security systems, waiting areas for advanced transport, and pedestrian path design. Recommendations for improvement include improving crossing facilities, installing CCTV and adequate lighting, providing comfortable waiting areas with shade facilities, and designing pedestrian lanes that separate vehicles and pedestrians to ensure smooth traffic and safety.

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the case of water pollution in the Brantas Watershed and explore the application of  Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by stakeholders (Companies and Communities located around the Brantas Watershed), and related to industrial and domestic waste management. The main focus of the research is on the social responsibility of the Stakeholders as well as the role of the central government, provincial government, and district/city government in controlling environmental pollution. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method and secondary data analysis, this research describes the various negative impacts of pollution, ranging from damage to the river ecosystem to health risks for the community. The results show that pollution of the Brantas River is caused by the industry's low compliance with waste treatment, weak government supervision, and lack of community participation in protecting the environment. Despite regulatory efforts and legal interventions, policy implementation still faces implementation constraints and limited resources. This research recommends increased supervision, stricter law enforcement, cross-sector collaboration, and community education as strategies to strengthen the sustainability of river management.

Abstract

This research redefines the value proposition of the Private Event Package at My Kopi O Serang to align with customer needs and preferences. The study aims to assess the current offering’s compatibility with customer expectations, realign it to reflect customer jobs, pains, and gains, and propose a more compelling value proposition. Using a mixed-method approach, including Thematic Analysis, Empathy Mapping, and quantitative validation through Problem-Solution Fit and Product-Market Fit tests, the research identifies two validated value propositions: (1) Exclusive Event Experience with Personalized Service for those seeking premium, private events, and (2) Price-effective Event Package for customers who prioritize affordability and value. To meet these needs, a tiered model is proposed: Silver and Gold packages for budget-conscious customers, and Platinum and Diamond for premium-seeking ones. The research also suggests creating a sense of exclusivity through semi-private arrangements and attentive service. This hybrid value proposition moves away from a one-size-fits-all approach to a segmented, data-driven offering, positioning My Kopi O Serang to cater to both premium and value-conscious customers in a competitive market.

To measure the costs and benefits (in rupiah) of an intervention and its effect on health care outcomes, pharmacoeconomics Cost Benefit Analysis was used. This comparative study used a cross-sectional design. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique as many as 30 from the group at the clinic implementing the home visit and 30 from the group at the non-home visit clinic. Measuring patient medication adherence using the Medication Adherence Report Scale (MARS-5) questionnaire, measuring the patient’s quality of life using the European Quality of Life 5 Dimensions (EQ-5D-5L) questionnaire. Blood sugar control data were obtained from medical records. For cost analysis, it was obtained from the SIM Medical Clinic and Primary Care BPJS Health. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed a significant value (p>0.05). There was no significant difference in medication adherence and quality of life between the two groups. The OR value of 1.43 shows that the level of patient compliance in the clinic completing the home visit is 1.43 x higher than the patient at the non-home visit clinic. The value of OR 1 on blood sugar control indicates that both groups have the same chance of controlling blood sugar.

Abstract

The bottled water industry applies different water treatment technologies, with some industries using technologies that are less appropriate when considering the type of raw water to be processed. Effective water treatment is the key to success in the bottled water industry, as product quality and business processes heavily depend on the selected water treatment technology. This study aims to evaluate and select the optimal water treatment technology for the bottled water industry using the Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method, along with economic evaluation through metrics such as IRR, NPV, and PBP. This method considers various relevant criteria, such as product quality, efficiency, costs, environmental impact, and customer satisfaction. The research process begins with data collection from several water treatment technologies used in the bottled water industry in the Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province. The VIKOR method is then applied to analyze and compare these technologies, along with economic evaluation using metrics such as IRR, NPV, and PBP. The results of the study indicate that the technology used by Company F ranked highest with the lowest compromise value (Q). The findings of this study are expected to provide insights for the bottled water industry in selecting the appropriate water treatment technology, as well as contribute to research in the field of water treatment. Recommendations for the implementation of the selected technology are also presented to improve efficiency and product quality.

Abstract

The separation of powers is a fundamental principle for ensuring justice and preventing the abuse of authority within a governance system. In the context of Islamic history, particularly during the Rashidun Caliphate, the need to distinguish between executive and judicial authority emerged as essential to uphold legal integrity and the rule of justice. This study aims to analyze the early development (embryo) of the separation of powers during the Rashidun era, identify the socio-historical factors that influenced it, and evaluate its impact on the effectiveness and integrity of the Islamic judicial system. This research employs a socio-historical approach, utilizing content analysis of classical Islamic texts and historical documents, as well as historical comparison of governance practices of the period. The findings indicate that the institutionalization of judicial independence began under the leadership of Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab through the appointment of independent qadis, provision of stable salaries, and the establishment of judicial oversight mechanisms. Factors such as urbanization, territorial expansion, increasing societal complexity, and the need for administrative efficiency were central to these reforms. The study concludes that the separation of powers in the Rashidun era was not only a pragmatic solution to governance challenges but also a reflection of core Islamic principles of justice. This historical model offers a valuable precedent for strengthening judicial independence and ethical governance, and remains relevant as a reference for contemporary judicial reform in Muslim-majority societies.

Abstract

This study analyzes the phenomenon of split ticket voting in the 2019 Simultaneous Elections in West Sumatra. The method used is a quantitative approach with primary data sources in the form of a survey of people's socio-political preferences, as well as secondary data from academic literature. The dependent variables in this study were split ticket voting, while the independent variables included party-ID, candidate personalization, and identity politics polarization. The results of the analysis show that these three variables significantly affect the tendency of voters to divide their choices between legislative candidates and presidential candidates. The findings also show that high levels of ideological identification tend to lower the likelihood of split ticket voting, while weak ideological ties to political parties reinforce this phenomenon. Therefore, this research confirms the importance of parties maintaining their ideological foundations to strengthen voter loyalty and reduce fragmented electoral behavior.

Abstract

Sustainability, particularly in green supply chains, has become a global priority. Operational decisions that prioritize environmental concerns significantly affect a company's risk profile, making risk management in green supply chains crucial for operational sustainability and regulatory compliance. To align with the Net Zero Emissions (NZE) 2060 vision, electricity distribution must adopt risk assessment practices based on the Green Supply Chain Operations Reference (Green SCOR) framework. This framework incorporates environmental considerations into each business process. Using the House of Risk (HOR) method, risk agents and responses are identified and mapped, with risk impact assessed by experts. The HOR method ranks risks in two phases: Phase 1 calculates the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) based on the relationship between risk agents and events, and Phase 2 ranks them from highest to lowest. The risk assessment suggests mitigation strategies in line with Green SCOR, such as adopting green industry standards with suppliers and ensuring flexible contracts. Some risks, however, still require existing responses, like compliance with local content requirements (TKDN) and transitioning to electric vehicles. This process selects risk mitigation strategies based on available resources and organizational capability.
