Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital intensity, leverage, and corporate social responsibility on tax aggressiveness with corporate governance as a moderating variable. This research was conducted on Healthcare companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019-2021. The number of samples in this study was 36 samples using the purposive sampling method in sampling. The data used are in the form of annual report data and financial statements of health companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear analysis with the STATA program. The results show that capital intensity has a positive effect on tax aggressiveness

Abstract

Teachers are responsible for developing students' knowledge and developing skill values ​​in students, teachers are also responsible for directing and training their students. In an effort to provide learning and education, teachers must be able to use learning tools in an effort to achieve learning objectives, teachers are also required to be able to develop skills in creating and using learning media that will be used in the learning process. This study aims to find out the problems or obstacles for teachers in designing a learning media type of video media. This study uses a qualitative method, where this research is observed by interacting directly or face to face at the research site. The problems experienced by teachers include the ability to use technological tools in designing learning video media, production equipment used in designing video media and making video improvements if they find errors after reviewing the video media that has been made. teachers have made efforts to overcome the problems experienced, including by studying with teachers who are already proficient in designing video media without having problems and learning independently by looking at the tutorials on the youtube application. From the results of the research above, it can be seen that there are problems that hinder teachers from designing a video media, and teachers at SD Negeri 160 Pekanbaru have the same problems

Abstract

In the world of mothers, the selection of formula milk as a substitute or companion for breast milk is very important because good nutrition is needed to support the baby's growth period. Meanwhile, now there are many choices of formula milk that have various benefits for each brand that are tailored to the needs of babies. Seeing these problems, this study offers a solution for choosing infant formula using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. In this study, the selection of formula milk was determined as a goal that looked at 4 criteria of carbohydrates, protein, fat, and calcium and used 11 brands of formula milk as an alternative. By carrying out the stages of completion using the Analytic hierarchy process AHP method, it was found that Organic Baby & Me milk was milk with the highest reference level of 43%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine EFL Students’ problems in dealing with teacher written feedback and their strategies to deal with them. This study used a qualitative method. Data were collected using one instrument, namely interviews with 10 students who have lowest writing scores in 10 grades. The results of the study reported that there were several problems experienced by students, such as difficulty understanding teacher’s comments, difficulty understanding error codes, inability to correct errors based on teacher written feedback and students' fear of asking questions. In addition, students used several strategies to deal with these problems, such as rewriting the teacher feedback with their own words, looking up the meaning of incomprehensible symbol and sentences on the internet/dictionaries and trying to be brave to ask the teacher. This study concludes that the teacher's written feedback must had several aspects namely, effective, easy to understand, easy to follow and precise. This research was expected to find out students' problems and provide solutions to improve their writing skills.

Abstract

Cooperative Learning Method Type "Student Teams Achievement Division" (STAD) is used in an effort to improve mathematics learning outcomes in Class IX-F Students of SMP Negeri 80 Jakarta Odd Semester TP. 2017/2018 The researcher conducted this research with the aim of improving mathematics learning outcomes in class IX-FSMP Negeri 80 Jakarta students in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year. The learning method chosen in an effort to improve learning outcomes is the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning method, in which students learn independently through teacher guidance. While the research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, testing, analyzing and reflecting. The instruments used are learning instruments and data collection instruments. The learning instruments are in the form of lesson plans, teaching materials and worksheets, while the data collection instruments are in the form of test and non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. After following the learning process using the STAD Method for two cycles of Mathematics, the results showed a very significant increase in learning outcomes. This can be seen from the test results, namely the average value in the pre-cycle was 55.11, increased sharply to 75.05 in the first cycle, then increased again in the second cycle which reached 78.30. When compared between the average value in the pre-cycle and the end of the second cycle, the average value increased by 42%. The level of completeness (with a KKM of 75) also shows the same thing, namely in the pre-cycle at first it was only 29.73%, then jumped drastically to 72.97% in the first cycle and continued to increase to 86.49%. at the end of the second cycle. Thus the use of the STAD method, the level of completeness increased by 191% compared to using the conventional method used in the pre-cycle or before the research was conducted

Abstract

There are various types of sports, one of which is soccer. Almost all people in the world know this sport, even though they don't like it or don't play it, at least most people in the world know this type of sport. The goal of soccer is to score as many goals as possible against the opponent's goal. To be able to score a goal must be able to kick the ball well. To improve students' kicking skills, the way to do this is by using the traditional game of pecle. The goal to be achieved is to determine the effect of the traditional pecle game on the kick strength of students who take part in soccer extracurriculars at SDN Leuwipicung. In this study, the researchers used a quasi-experimental posttest only control group design. The population in this study were 25 students of SD Negeri Leuwipicung who took part in extracurricular football. In this study, the researchers used a saturated sampling technique because the population was less than 30 people. Data were obtained using interviews, observation, practical tests and documentation. The test used is kicking for distance from warner test of soccer skill. The results of the reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha with the result of 0.153. That way the reliability test gets reliable results because the Alpha value > 0.60. Based on the results obtained, the results of the research on the traditional game of pecle have an effect on kicking power in soccer.

Abstract

Quality education is the right of every community, including elementary school students. Elementary school as a basic education level must be able to instill the character of a learner's soul in students so that students are able to understand the material presented in class, especially in science learning which is learning to be close to nature. Unfortunately, all this time, science learning is still conventional as in 5th grade science learning in an elementary school in Ponorogo Regency. For this reason, researchers want to find out more about the contextual learning approach in improving understanding of Natural Science (IPA) material at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there is an increase in understanding of science after contextual learning is implemented in elementary school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a sample of class 5 totaling 35 people. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase in the average grade after the contextual learning was implemented, from 67.6 to 78.03. In addition, the number of students who reached the KKM also increased by 60%, from 20% to 80%. With this, the contextual approach can improve understanding of science material at the elementary level.

Abstract

  The advancement of education in the twenty-first century is now confronted with significant challenges. Accordingly, it is essential to train students to think critically. Moreover, thinking creatively and critically will have a significant impact on preparing future generations. This study was conducted as a result of observations revealed that students struggle with learning activities when teachers integrate the thinking skills process in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to examine students' perceptions of the integration of thinking skills theory in English language classroom. The research method applied in this study is quantitative. The data were collected by distributing the questionnaire to 30 students in grade 9 at the secondary school level. Through the descriptive statistical analysis, the calculation of the mean and std. Deviation confirmed “very high” and “high” responses out of 14 questions based on the mean Interval Score Interpretation proposed by Kinay and Ardıç (2017). It indicated that students positively perceive the use of thinking skills in English language classrooms. This study concludes that integrating thinking skills in English language classroom could develop students’ critical thinking.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to improve student’s cognitive abilities of Fawwaz Kids School Kindergarden at A group in doing their activities in the class by using Magic Squere as the media. Fawwaz Kids School Kindergarden has many kinds of media that could support sudents’ cognitive aspects development, one of them through magic square which was able to increase students’ cognitive such as critical thinking, recognize and present the things around them. Based on the interviews, the teachers told that the student’s had not use or play this media yet. Therefore, by this media the student’s was expected to practise their ability to solve the problem, complete the task, and get the chance to play a new game to improve their study. The trial used by 10 students. The result of this study showed student’s interest in playing magic square media which were 88,89% students had critical thinking, 77,78 % students recognized and presented the things around them

Abstract

Education serves to improve the quality and quality of society so that they can live better. The educational process itself begins from the moment humans are born. The education provided must include all aspects of the development field such as cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, motor and artistic so that children's abilities can develop optimally and thoroughly. Basic motion or fundamental motion is divided into three categories, namely locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative motion. The basic movements that it develops occur in parallel with the growth of the body and the degree of maturity in children. Motion activity plays an important role for psychomotor development, cognitive abilities and affection abilities. In a play situation, children will show their talents, fantasies, and tendencies. When playing, children will internalize various emotional conditions that may arise such as a sense of pleasure, joy, tension, satisfaction, and perhaps a sense of disappointment. The game is a tool education because it gives a sense of satisfaction of joy and happiness
