Abstract

Trade activities that cause consumerism and the enactment of consumer protection laws in Indonesia cannot be separated because business actors cheat in trade using an economic system that is free of values, norms, and even religious norms, the most important being getting as much profit as possible, the next stage gives birth to a permissive culture, hedonic lifestyle, poverty in the midst of prosperity which is basically contrary to human values ​​and religious teachings. In contrast to the Islamic economic system, which is very contradictory, because it contains religious norms, which as a whole regulate the economic interests of individuals and society. Based on the above, the Islamic economic system prioritizes justice, unity, balance, freedom and responsibility in realizing prosperity for mankind. The approach used in this study is a juridical-normative approach. The method used in analyzing the collected data is the inductive method. The results of the research on the position of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection against the rules of Islamic law regarding consumer protection is as a reinforcement of the rules of Islamic law concerning consumer protection in its application in Indonesia. Consumer protection efforts have actually been implied and conceptualized in Islamic rules in every transaction. Then the rules were strengthened and reaffirmed in more detail in the rules of Law Number 8 of 1999 in terms of their application. If the two rules are truly applied to the fullest, it is not impossible for harmony, blessing, profit, protection of the rights of both parties to their respective interests to be achieved.

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence in Indonesia are increasing every year, even the victims are not only adults, teenagers, children and even toddlers are now the targets. The increasing number of cases of sexual violence is not only seen in terms of quantity or number of cases, but also in terms of quality. For this reason, the state is present with its policy, then Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS) is passed which aims to protect every citizen from violence and degrading treatment of human dignity. The Victim Trust Fund or Victim Assistance Fund is a mandate from the TPKS Law as a form of state responsibility when the assets of the confiscated convict are insufficient for restitution costs. The Victim Assistance Fund exists as the state exists to protect its citizens, the concept of the Victim Trust Fund was previously regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 80 of 2011 concerning Trust Funds. However, the Presidential Regulation does not specifically regulate the aid fund for victims of sexual violence. The purpose of this study is to provide a legal framework on how to manage the Victim Aid Fund using a conceptual approach that uses analytical deductive methods to process data. The Victim Assistance Fund should be managed by the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) which already has a system so that the state can save costs in establishing a new institution.

Abstract

Competition in pharmaceutical companies increased. This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, solvability, and profitability ratios on stock prices in pharmaceutical companies listed o the IDX for the period 2024-2018, pra pandemic era. This reseach is a descriptive quantitative study. The population of this study is 10 pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX for the period 2014-2018. Nine companies met the criteria. The company registered and published financial reports periodically during the observation period. The data were tested by using the t-test, f-test, coefficient of determination test, and multiple linier regression. Research results are, 1). Liquidity as proxied by CR has no significant effect on share prices in pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX for the period 2014-2018, 2). Solvability as proxied by DER has a significant effect on share prices in pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX for the period 2014-2018, 3). Profitability as proxied by ROA has a significant effect on share prices in pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX for the period 2014-2018, 4). CR, DER. and ROA simultaneously have significant effect on stock price in pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX for the period 2014-2018. Implications of this study are: more solvable and more profitable the company, raises their share price. It needs management’s ability to maintain DER and ROA fot a better result on share prices.

Abstract

The aim is to determine the factors that influence students' decisions to choose Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Purwokerto and the most dominant factors for students to choose Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Purwokerto. This study uses an exploratory factor analysis method with the variables studied, namely from internal factors including Motivation, Attitudes, Perceptions, Learning, and external factors including Marketing Mix, Service Quality, Reference Group, and Social Level. The sample used is the student population of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Purwokerto Batch 2018 and 2019. The results of the most dominant factor analysis are the Attitude variable with popular indicators, Perception with lecturer competency indicators, Marketing Mix with SPP indicators and the availability of curriculum or study programs of interest, and Quality of Service easily interacts with lecturers or teaching staff.

Abstract

Students’ perceptions are essential elements in the EFL context. Therefore, there are many studies related to students’ voices conducted. This research objective was to investigate students’ opinions on Doodles Instagram Account as a learning medium of English vocabulary. This research was a descriptive qualitative study. The participants of this research were 27 students in the ELT Department of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Purwokerto. After the students learned English vocabulary through several relevant posts taken from @doodles account, the team asked the students to complete a questionnaire. The questionnaire was a closed questionnaire consisting of 22 questions. The data obtained were analyzed by calculating the percentage of each item. The results revealed several essential findings. Firstly, most of the students were active users of Instagram. Secondly, the students mostly used Instagram to enrich their English vocabulary. Thirdly, the students generally responded positively to Doodle Instagram Account. Overall, the students’ voices toward @doodles account as a learning medium of English vocabulary tended to be positive.

Abstract

A special power of attorney made abroad has the same basic requirements as a power of attorney made domestically. The additional requirement for a special power of attorney made abroad is that there must be legalization from the Indonesian Embassy or local CONSULTATOR. The enactment of this regulation became the pretext for the defendant in the divorce case to appeal to the Semarang PTA against the Islamic civil case registration number 1304/Pdt.G/2009/PA-PWT. The defendant doubted the validity of the plaintiff's special power of attorney because there was no stamp or legalized stamp from the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI). The approach used is juridical-normative. The method used is data content-analysis and inductive-deductive. The findings of the Legalized research from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) or the Consulate General for Foreign Affairs are not a determinant of whether a special power of attorney is valid or not. Whether or not a special power of attorney is valid for Indonesian citizens who are abroad is determined by the fulfillment of the provisions of a special power of attorney in general as stated in SEMA Number 1 of 1971 in conjunction with SEMA Letter Number 6 of 1994 and the fulfillment of the provisions of an agreement contained in Article 1338 paragraph 1 Civil Code, Article 1320 Civil Code.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the types of morphological errors in descriptive texts and the causes of the errors. The research type was error analysis research. The techniques of collecting the data were written test and documentation. The subject of this research was the first-grade students of SMK Ma’arif NU 2 Ajibarang. The data gathered were analyzed using several relevant theories. The data analysis revealed that there were six types of morphological error called third-person singular error, article error, omission of noun plural, additional of noun plural, inflectional error, and possessive case error. Furthermore, the possible causes of the errors were incomplete of rule restriction, ignorance of the rule restriction, interlingual error, and carelessness.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how the strategic management of Posyandu Wijaya and Kemuning in Purwanegara Village, Purwokerto Utara District, Banyumas Regency in efforts to tackle stunting. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This study uses the theory of SWOT analysis. Based on this theory, it can be found that Posyandu Wijaya and Kemuning have four factors, namely Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat. Posyandu's strength is seen as the closest health service organization to the community, especially toddlers and pregnant women. Weaknesses that exist come from the lack of capacity of cadres, toddlers who are afraid of posyandu, and the lack of knowledge of parents about the importance of posyandu. Opportunity can be seen from the existence of support for posyandu from the sub-district, health center, or other institutions. Meanwhile, threats can be seen from the Covid-19 pandemic which forced the Wijaya and Kemuning Posyandu to stop their activities, the lack of support from some people, and the threat of hoaxes through social media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation, ability, motivation, and the principal's performance on teacher performance at SMP Ma’arif NU in Banyumas Regency. Analyzing the principal’s compensation, ability, motivation, and leadership, which have the most dominant positive effect on teacher performance at SMP Ma’arif NU in Banyumas Regency. This study uses quantitative research methods. Sampling In the study, we used a probability sampling technique, proportional stratified random sampling. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires about compensation, ability, motivation, and the principal’s leadership to 68 respondents. Data analysis was carried out with the statistical tool used as multiple regression using SPSS 20. Statistical software. The result of this study indicates in the F Test (simultaneous) that compensation, ability, motivation, principal’s performance is significantly 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount 61.169 > F Table 2.52. That the dependent variable is simultaneously able to explain changes in the Independent variable. Compensacion variable standardized coefficient value (-0.08), tcount (-1.114) dan sig 0.270 > 0.05 it can be concluded that the compensation variable has a negative effect on teacher performance the ability variable shows the significance value of standardized coefficients 0.687, and tcount (8.796) and sig 0.000 < 0.05 it is concluded that the ability has a positive influence on teacher performance. Motivation value standardized coefficients 0.397 t count 4.184 and sig 1.00 < 0.05 it can be concluded that the motivation variable has a positive influence on teacher performance. The variable of school principal's leadership values standardized coefficients(-0.098), tcount (-1.168) and sig 0.247 > 0.005 it is concluded that the principal’s leadership variable has a negative influence on teacher performance. The results showed that in the multiple regression analysis with the largest value of standardized coefficients 0.687 was the ability variabel. It is concluded that the most dominant variable that has a positive effect on teacher performance is the ability variable.

Abstract

BPRS has a clear organizational structure in accordance with its competence. One of the management in a BPRS is the existence of commissioners who contribute a lot in the development of a BPRS. BPRS will develop when the commissioners are able to carry out their roles properly. Vice versa, BPRS development will be hampered when the commissioners do not understand their role. The Board of Commissioners must be able to carry out good corporate governance to realize company performance, maintain good relations with stakeholders, and in the long term maintain the trust of shareholders and stakeholders so that the company's competitiveness in the business world can be maintained. This type of research uses normative juridical, namely research conducted by examining library materials which are secondary legal materials. The data analysis method applied in this research is qualitative analysis. The results of the study, in order to realize good GCG in the BPRS, it can be said that the board of commissioners is the core or heart of the BPRS governance system. The role of the board of commissioners is very important for the running of a BPRS. The board of commissioners is required to know and understand the regulations of the PT Law, the Sharia Bank Law, BI Regulations and Circulars, OJK Regulations and Circulars and DSN Fatwas. The commissioner in Law Number 21 of 2008 has a role as a supervisor of BPRS governance starting from supervising compliance with applicable laws to the process of evaluating BPRS governance. The explanation of the role of the BPRS is explained in article 29 of Law Number 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic Banking.
