Abstract

This research is motivated by fluctuations in Lamongan Regency's Original Regional Income (PAD), which often does not reach targets, high dependence on Balancing Funds, and the impact of the pandemic on the regional economy. This research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of PAD and Balancing Funds in implementing the APBD, as well as analyzing the magnitude of their contribution to the total APBD of Lamongan Regency. Using quantitative descriptive methods with secondary data from the APBD Realization Report for the 2019-2023 period, the research results show that the effectiveness of PAD reached an average of 103.91% (very effective) and the Balancing Fund was 96.95% (effective). However, PAD's contribution to the APBD is still low with an average of 16.63%, while the Balancing Fund contributes significantly at 55.72%. This condition indicates the need to increase regional fiscal independence even though the level of effectiveness of financial management is already good.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the tea consumption patterns of the community in Melikan Village, Rongkop District, Gunung Kidul Regency, and to examine the extent to which income influences their choices and frequency of tea consumption. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations involving ten informants selected via snowball sampling. The findings reveal that tea—particularly the Serimpi brand—is an integral part of the community’s social and cultural life, consumed routinely regardless of economic conditions. Consumption frequency ranges from two to four times a day, with diverse preferences in taste and preparation methods. Despite varying income levels, most residents maintain the same consumption habits due to factors such as tradition, personal preference, and social value. These results suggest that tea consumption in Melikan Village is more influenced by established habits and cultural norms than by financial circumstances. The findings align with the concept of autonomous consumption and partially reflect Engel’s Law.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance efficiency of banks categorized under Core Capital Group 1 (KBMI 1) during the 2020–2023 period. Efficiency is measured using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method through an intermediation approach, where the input variables used are the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loans (NPL), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), while the output variables include the amount of loans disbursed and operating income. The results indicate that the efficiency of banks with the smallest core capital is dynamic. Bank Victoria International (BVIC) achieved full efficiency throughout the study period, while Bank IBK Indonesia (AGRS) and Bank Amar Indonesia (AMAR) consistently experienced inefficiency. Other factors influencing bank efficiency include macroeconomic conditions and the readiness for banking digitalization. Banks that are able to adapt to digital transformation tend to operate more efficiently.
