NEOLOGIA: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is a peer-reviewed scientific open access journal, with e-ISSN 2829-9612 and p-ISSN 2087-2496. It has been published by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature, Faculty of Language and Literature, Universitas Negeri Makassar. NEOLOGIA is published since 2010. NEOLOGIA is issued semiannually: in February and Auguts. NEOLOGIA publishes manuscripts on research in linguistics and literature. NEOLOGIA features research novelties and significance for scientific advancement in one of the fields of the published manuscripts. This journal welcomes submissions from around the world as well as from Indonesia. Manuscripts published include but are not limited to the following. Linguistics; phonology, morphology, syntax, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and critical discourse analysis. Literature: local literature studies, Indonesian literature, foreign literature studies, children literature, literature studies for character education, and other literary studies. The editorial board would like to receive manuscripts submitted via the online submission system. Make sure that the manuscripts meet the scope and submission guidelines of the journal. Hypograms in Sajak Liar Poetry on Social Media Instagram: Overview of Rifaterre Semiotics. This study aims to describe the data that includes the potential and actual hypograms, in other words, to describe the origin of the texts in several poems in the Sajak Liar poetry account. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the research on Sajak Liar poetry show that there are several circumstances behind the writing of the selected work as well as different implications of several lines of several poems that show actual evidence of the poetry. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The Narrative Structure in the Novel Cinta Is Never On Time by Puthut EA. This study aims to reveal the narrative structure contained in the novel Cinta Tak Never timely by Puthut EA based on Mieke Bal's narrative review. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data was collected by sorting out quotes in Puthut EA's Cinta Is Never On Time novel which contains a narrator, focalizer and fabula. The results of this study indicate that the narrator and focalizer are played by the character “I” in the story. Fabula has an important role in shaping the series of stories and plots in the novel being analyzed. Fabula which consists of events and the location of the events, as well as actors. Events and locations are combined in the analysis, so that the storyline can be arranged based on logical and chronological elements, namely arranged systematically (sequentially) starting from the mother's anxiety then meeting with several girls, the main character experiencing severe stress to healing and acceptance of himself.

This study aims to describe the form of code contained in Toraja folklore comics using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study state that there are five code systems in Toraja folklore comics. The gnomic code states several cultural codes found in the Toraja tribe, the hermeneutic code states the problem solving performed by the characters in the story, the semik code states that the characters in comics give masculine attitudes in dealing with problems, the symbolic code states problem solving according to their respective cultures, while the pro-aetic code states attitudes that imply human behavior, both positive and negative attitudes.

Symbolic Code and Gnonic Code of Mappanre Lemba Ritual Mantra for Sumpang Fishermen in the Bugis Parepare Community. This study aims to determine the symbolic and gnomic code of mantras. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research data is the mantra text and the translation of the mantra text. This research uses primary and secondary data sources. Data obtained through observation; and field research. The analysis technique is the analysis of the relationship between grammatical meanings, while combinatorial meaning analysis is used to interpret connotations and rhetoric. The results showed that the ritual mantra of Mappanre Lemba fisherman Sumpang contained symbolic codes of religion, nature, and objects. This mantra contains a gnonic code on offerings in ritual ceremonies.

This study aims to describe the intrinsic elements in the Gitanjali Karya Febrialdi R novel based on Robert Stanton's structural theory. The data generated in the form of descriptive data. This research data is written data in the form of words, expressions, and sentences. There are two data sources, namely primary data and secondary data. There are two data collection techniques, namely the reading technique and the note taking technique. The results showed that the theme contained in the novel is the struggle and offerings of love. There are facts of the story which are divided into three, namely the plot, character and setting, and literary tools that produce the title, point of view, language style, tone, and symbolism.

The purpose of this study was described the meaning of denotation, connotation and myths in folk songs in the Maddui ritual tradition of the Bugis Karampuang community based on Roland Barthe’s theory. This research is descriptive qualitative. Result of the study show, the connotative meaning can be related to the existence of gods, natural rulers as well as the institutional structure or traditional leadership of Karampuang. The connotative meaning of Maddui poetry is a strategy on dealing with life by maintaining good relations between humans and god as well as relationships between humans and other humans and how humans relate to other nature. The mytology of Maddui poetry delivered ideology againts the existence and gods power.

This study aims to describe the reduction, addition and change of variations of Meira Anastasia's Imperfect Novel to Ernest Prakasa's Imperfect Film. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data sources in this research are the Novel Imperfect by Meira Anastasia and the Film Imperfect by Ernest Prakasa. The results of this study indicate that there are reductions, additions and changes in variations that occur in the characters, plots and settings in the novel Imperfect by Meira Anastasia to the Film Imperefect by Ernest.

The Struggle of Nyai Ontosoroh in the Novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer (Overview of Liberal Feminism). The purpose of this research is to describe the struggle waged by Nyai Ontosoroh in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, using the theory of liberal feminism. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research that have been conducted show some of the struggles made by Nyai Ontosoroh in maintaining her existence as a woman who can still appear in public even though she is only a siri wife. The struggles that have been carried out are active in studying and not giving up despite being oppressed by her social status as a concubine. The conclusion in this study is that Nyai Ontosoroh as a female figure is able to reflect the values of liberal feminism in the novel Bumi Manusia.
