Abstract

Tangerang City is a city that is one of the capital's supporting areas, which is experiencing severe environmental pollution due to rapid urbanization, industrial activity, the large number of electric vehicles, and low public awareness of the environment. By utilizing technology and innovation to create smarter, more sustainable, and greener cities, the smart city environmental concept can provide effective solutions to environmental problems. Smart city is a concept that is applied globally, including in the city of Tangerang, Indonesia. The combination of technological developments with urban infrastructure is an effort to improve citizens' quality of life, increase the effectiveness of public services, and encourage sustainable economic growth. There is significant research development regarding the application of smart environment cities, including innovation in government, but there is still very little research regarding the application of smart environment cities and efforts to increase environmental sustainability. This study emphasizes the importance of the government's role, especially in policies, to mitigate the negative impact of urban development in Tangerang City on the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence partial or simultaneous motivation and work discipline have on employee performance at the Archives and Library Office (Disarpus) of West Bandung Regency. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods with descriptive analysis approaches and verification analysis. The population in this study is employees at the Archives and Library Office (Disarpus) of West Bandung Regency as 154 employees. So that the method used is Slvin, so a research sample of 102 respondents was obtained. The data analysis method uses a descriptive quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS tools. Data collection was obtained from respondents using questionnaires or questionnaires. The results of this study show that there is an influence of work motivation on employee performance, there is an influence of work discipline on employee performance, and there is a joint influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the West Bandung Regency Archives and Library Office (Disarpus) by 66%. That is, work motivation and work discipline can explain the variation in employee performance at the Archives and Library Office (Disarpus) of West Bandung Regency by 66%.

Abstract

The security and safety of lecturers, employees and students is one important aspect that needs to be guaranteed by campus managers, so that the implementation of the academic process can run comfortably and safely. The condition of the building is quite old, the condition of the Light Fire Extinguisher (APAR) is also not feasible, the condition of the emergency stairs is still used in general, there is no special evacuation emergency stairs, fire detection equipment is not functioning. Dimensions of Emergency Equipement, and Hazard Detectors, Emergency Planning, Building Facilities Safety Fire, and Equipment Potential Fire, as variables that will be measured using Fuzzy Analysis to produce weighting values and priorities for fire management management, with the weight value of Emergency Equipement, and Hazard Detectors is 0.48 as priority 1 in the future that needs to be improved.... Based on the fire risk assessment of the Faculty of Engineering building on Jl.Setiabudi involving the building area (lectures, lecturer rooms, and laboratories) and outside the building open areas and parking lots. Through a limited purposive sampling approach, the fire risk value for open areas is in the value of 6 medium risk categories, for teaching and lecturer rooms in the range of 4-9 high risk categories, while the laboratory area is in the range of 4-8 high risk categories. The maintenance aspect of fire detection and handling equipment is a suggestion for future building managers of the Faculty of Engineering Unpas.

Abstract

This study discusses how the Regional Revenue Collection Intensification is carried out by the Bandung City Transportation Service Terminal UPTD. Terminal levies are a type of regional levies that have the potential and provide substantial input to increasing the local revenue of the city of Bandung, besides that the city of Bandung is a large city that has made progress in terms of the economy and in terms of social life, so that the mobility of the people of the city of Bandung is quite high, in terms of support it. then transportation is an important means of supporting the success of development. So, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the realization of regional fees in the city of Bandung. The point is to find out, describe, and analyze the implementation, constraints, and efforts to resolve the Terminal Levy Intensification. The research method used is a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive methods, and primary and secondary data are obtained through data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research with reference to the intensification of local revenue generation carried out by the Bandung City Transportation Service Terminal Technical Implementation Unit has not been carried out properly, as seen in the dimensions of expanding the revenue base, cost efficiency and reducing acquisition costs and increasing revenue capacity has not implemented properly because there are indicators that have not been fulfilled.

Abstract

The diversity of society which makes Indonesia rich in differences is an important basis for being democratic. This is a strong basis for gender equality in holding control of government, therefore women have rights in the political realm, as this is mandated by Law Number 7 of 2017 article 173 paragraph (2) concerning political parties. This research aims to analyze and determine the implementation of the Bandung Regency General Election Commission (KPU) strategy regarding increasing women's participation in political contestation in the 2024 elections. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a narrative approach, and data was collected through in-depth interviews with several members. Bandung Regency commissioner and female legislative candidate nominated by a political party. The research results show that the implementation of the Bandung Regency General Election Commission (KPU) strategy regarding increasing women's participation in political contestation in the 2024 election is considered less than optimal. So far what the Bandung Regency KPU has carried out is only supervision. The Bandung Regency KPU is hampered in implementing the program due to a lack of human resources and the budget spent is less effective and efficient. However, in carrying out the Regency KPU procedures, it is in accordance with PKPU regulations Number 10 of 2023 concerning Nomination of Members of the DPR, Provincial DPRD, Regency/City DPRD.

Abstract

This research is about the relationship between the government and the public community in managing the museum. This study seeks to uncover cooperative relationship between the government and the public community to achieve a goal that leads to the quality of museum management, the Museum of the Asian-African Conference in Bandung City. This study uses a qualitative method, determination of informants is done based on criteria, where data collection uses in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the government's cooperative relations through the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Directorate of Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and the public community through the Friends of the Asia-Africa Museum had been carried out with an equal position as an active partner. The collaboration contributed positively to increasing visit participation and interest in the community at large from year to year, as well as presenting positive responses from various parties through cooperative relationships that can be used as pilot models in the context of museum management in other areas. This study concludes that the practice of cooperative relations between the government and the public community in managing the Asia-Africa Conference Museum is considered not running optimally, which is closely related to the limitations of human resources, budget, and facilities that support the journey of cooperation. Therefore, it is recommended that the cooperative relations that have been going on continue to be developed and continuously improved.

Abstract

This scientific article discusses convergence efforts in handling the stunting problem in Banjar City. Before the collaborative effort, Banjar City faced a stunting problem caused by an imbalance of resources and knowledge, a lack of understanding about health, nutrition and good parenting patterns. Convergence efforts involve various sectors such as health, food, education and society through the Anting Berlian program (Overcoming Stunting and Giving Care). The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation and interviews. The technique for determining informants uses purposive sampling. The results of the research explain the convergence efforts made by the Banjar City Government to reduce the stunting problem: coordination between the health sector and the food sector, integration of health and nutrition service programs, cross-sector approaches in education, involvement of communities and community organizations, multi-sectoral approaches in poverty alleviation, and strengthening information and monitoring systems.

Abstract

Public services are provided in a variety of ways by government agencies to meet the needs of the general public and carry out their duties in accordance with applicable laws, yet there are a lot of instances where inadequate services are provided. In this case, the community complained about Ononazara Village government services. To prove this, research must be conducted using qualitative and quantitative methods; hence, the current study is a campuran study that combines both research methods. Data collected during the interviews conducted in Desa Ononazara were compiled by conducting a survey that was distributed via a Google form to residents of the community there. Results of the evaluation that was conducted were not good.

Abstract

The presence of Law Number 6 of 2014 about Village provides the basis that the village government is required to be able to respond to local demands and aspirations of the interests of the community in the village. One of the important issues in village deliberation and development is the planning aspect. In accordance with the mandate of the law, village development planning requires the active participation of all community groups. Along with the development and demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the village government needs to innovate policies, namely by digitizing development planning. Thus, the community will be able to participate directly and be more active in participating in developing the village. For this reason, this study seeks to find out how effective the implementation of development planning programs is in villages that are famous for their digitalization. The researcher took the case of Dlingo Village as a digital village which has now changed from an underdeveloped area to a rapidly developing village. This study has a qualitative paradigm, which is used as a method to explore and understand the meaning that comes from the case of development planning in Dlingo Village, Dlingo District, Bantul Regency, DIY.
