Abstract

This research brings the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) in creating the Apilastic Robot, a device that aims to reduce customer losses by identifying the causes of rejected items, particularly in frequently returned cups. Through qualitative data collection from a case study with the researcher as the human instrument, the research objective was to develop a device that can recognize the type of damage on the glass, provide support to the user to identify the source of the problem, and take appropriate steps. The results of the analysis showed that product effectiveness had the greatest influence on tool usage satisfaction, explaining 77.2% of the variability in tool effectiveness. It is expected that these findings provide support to users in troubleshooting frequently returned glassware with root cause identification and appropriate steps.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSDs) are work-related health disorders that are often experienced by workers. PT. Maju Mapan Bahagia is a manufacturing company engaged in food processing. Production workers do not apply ergonomic work postures in carrying out their work activities, this causes workers to experience a number of complaints such as complaining of pain in the neck, back, shoulders, arms and calves. This research was conducted to determine the level of potential risk of MSDs in production workers using the methodRapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and provide suggestions for better working postures. The REBA method is a method used to measure and analyze workers' body posture. Based on the results of body posture analysis using the REBA method, workers in the frozen meat breaking process scored 6, which means the risk level is moderate and corrective action is needed, workers in the meat grinding and cooking process got a score of 11, which means the risk level is very high and corrective action is needed as soon as possible, while workers in the cooling process received a score of 8, which means the risk level is high and immediate corrective action is needed. Proposed improvements to reduce complaintsmusculoskeletal disorders is by improving the posture of the neck, back, arms, wrists, grip and legs and providing facilities in the form of wooden pallets, higher tables and jigsaw machines.

Abstract

Column collapse can be overcome by increasing the nominal strength of the cross section, one of which is by strengthening using FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer). This research will focus on the effect of using mendong plant fiber as a fiber jacket for strengthening reinforced concrete columns after building damage. Starting from material testing, mix design calculations, making test objects and testing test objects. There are 3 variations of test objects, namely concrete without a layer of Mendong fiber, concrete with 2 layers of Mendong fiber and concrete with 4 layers of Mendong fiber. The number of test objects was 15 concrete cylinders and 6 reinforced concrete columns. Reinforced concrete column specimens were subjected to axial testing to obtain the maximum axial load. Based on the test results, it was found that the average axial strength of reinforced concrete columns without mendong fiber blanket was 120.03 kN, the average axial strength of post-damaged reinforced concrete columns with 2 layers of mendong fiber blanket was 134.46 kN and the average axial strength of post-damaged reinforced concrete columns damaged with a 4-layer mendong fiber blanket of 144.83 kN. The greater the number of layers of mendong fiber, the axial strength of the post-damaged reinforced concrete column will increase with an increase of 12.02% for 0 layers to 2 layers, and 7.71% for 2 layers to 4 layers. Based on the results of this research, mendong fiber can be used as an alternative to fiber jacket for reinforcing reinforced concrete columns after building damage.

Abstract

This research aims to reuse solid tailings from gold processing from PT Global Minerallium Corporindo into a mixture for making concrete bricks as a form of the Zero Waste movement where no material is thrown away. This research was conducted by mixing tailings with a ratio of 10%, 20% and 30% in the dough for making bricks. After the bricks are formed, the composition and pH of the solid tailings will be analyzed, the value of compressive strength, and the percentage of water absorption in the bricks. The composition test is carried out using portable XRF which will be fired directly at the tailings. The pH test is carried out using a soil pH test by inserting a probe into solid tailings that has been moistened with a little water. While the compressive strength test and percent water absorption test will be carried out in accordance with SNI 03-0349-1989. From the results obtained, the highest compressive strength value was obtained in a 10% tailings mixture with a value of 91,10 kgF/cm2. Whereas the lowest percentage of water absorption was obtained in a 30% tailings mixture with a value of 3.88%. However, overall the 10% brick mixture is the optimal mixture for forming bricks because it meets the quality standards for bricks II, III, and IV SNI 03-0349-1989.

Abstract

The National Private Company PT Swadaya Graha, which is part of Semen Indonesia, is currently active in carrying out Metal Ducting (MD) fabrication projects in collaboration with PT Maxiterm Boiler Indonesia. During the production process, several types of welding defects are detected, such as Slag, Porosity, Spatter, and Incomplete Fusion. The aim of this research is to determine the most dominant percentage of welding defects, identify the causes of welding defect factors, and provide suggestions for suggestions for improving welding quality. This research uses the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), using SQC tools such as check sheets, stratification, histograms, Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, P control charts, and cause and effect diagrams. Next, an FMEA analysis is carried out based on a cause and effect diagram to formulate proposed corrective actions. The results showed that the most dominant type of defect, based on cumulative percentage, was spatter (29.42%), followed by porosity (28.41%), Incomplete Fusion (21.59%), and slag (20.58%). Based on the RPN (Risk Priority Number) value, the Incomplete Fusion defect with the highest RPN value of 240 is caused by improper electrode angle determination. Repair recommendations involve checking the electrode angle according to the WPS used before starting the welding process.

Abstract

PT. Hikari Teknologi Indonesia has implemented an information system covering human resources, finance, operations and marketing that can support and accelerate internal activity data information. However, there are problems with the document data system which still uses a manual system. This means that the document process is still in physical form. In addition, the efficiency of document data is still low and the accuracy of searching document report data is still low, making it difficult and not automated for HRGA department staff in managing document data management during modernization. With this system, it is very helpful for the HRGA department in supporting the storage activities of the company PT. Hikari Teknologi Indonesia. The filing system makes it easy to generate reports and upload documents.

Abstract

PT Hikari Teknologi Indonesia already has an information system that covers the fields of human resources, finance, operations and marketing that helps and accelerates the acquisition of data information on the company's internal activities. However, the problem with the document data collection system that still uses a manual system is that the document processing is still in physical or printed form. In addition, the efficiency of document data is still low, and the inaccurate retrieval of document report data makes it difficult for HRGA department staff and not automatic in using document data management in the modern era. The method used in designing this system is direct observation to PT HTI to collect accurate document information data. The results starting from observation, design and creation of the system can be concluded that it is expected to help the workflow to be more efficient and reduce the risk of data errors in the decision-making process.

Abstract

PT. Selatan Jadi Jaya is a company that produces lead acid batteries for Automotive Car Batteries. During production, problems often arise, namely a fairly high level of product defects. Defects appearing in the burning process include defects in melted tin, burned connectors, bent plates, and torn separators. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of product defects and provide suggestions for improving the quality of battery batteries. Based on the above problems, analyzing the level of defects can use the Seven Tools method and improvement efforts using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Based on the results of research on Seven Tools that the dominant defect is Connector Burning with a percentage of (33%), then followed by Plate Bent by (26%), then Melted Tin by (24%), and Torn Separator by (17%). Based on the results of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis research, it is known that the highest RPN value is 200 on tin melt defects. The recommendation for improvement is to adjust the size of the fire according to the procedure.

Abstract

Establishing production costs involves combining, grouping, and allocating costs related to acquiring raw materials, labor expenses, and overhead expenses when a company converts raw materials into finished products for sale. However, in the domain of cost accounting, there are certain limitations that remain when determining the base price for manufactured products. For example, PT Currently, they have switched from Traditional Costing Methods to Activity Based Costing (ABC) Approach. This notification approach uncovers the activities involved in the production process of these goods to obtain a more accurate product cost estimate. This calculation includes all costs collected during the production process, including estimates of raw material costs, labor wages and overhead costs. By comparing the calculations between Traditional Costs and Activity Based Costing, the hope is to get a more precise assessment regarding the Cost of Goods Production. This will be a guide for management in making more accurate decisions and cost allocation.

Abstract

Service computer surabaya is one of the website-based gadget service businesses that still needs evaluation. Surabaya computer service website information system audit using the COBIT 5 framework with DSS domains and maturity level assessment. The research aims to evaluate the Surabaya computer service website information system. The results show that the average maturity level reached 3.93 (level 4 - Managed and Measurable) with an expected value at level 4. DSS04 has the highest value, while DSS01 has a significant gap. Recommendations include creating SOPs, problem identification, long-term monitoring, security improvements, and business process audits. In conclusion, the company needs to improve DSS01 and DSS03 while the other domains are good. It is hoped that this research can help in improving and maintaining services from service computer surabaya to provide the best service to users from managers.
