Abstract

This research analyzes the use of Deep Translator in the translation of Arabic texts, focusing on the accuracy, contextual relevance and effectiveness of this tool compared to human translators. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which involves analyzing the results of Deep Translator's translations of religious and academic texts and comparing them with manual translations. The data is also supported by a literature review that has relevance to the topic of this research. The results show that Deep Translator excels in its speed and ability to translate texts with simple structures, such as news or everyday texts. However, it faces significant limitations in understanding cultural context, idiomatic meanings, and nuances of complex texts, especially in religious texts such as Qur'anic verses and muthola'ah. Deep Translator produces literal translations that reflect less historical and cultural meaning than human translators. This shortcoming is also evident in muthola'ah texts, where Deep Translator's diction choices are less relevant for certain readers.

Abstract

The Indonesian language cannot be ignored. Correct spelling not only affects someone's first impression of our writing but can also influence the reader's understanding and interpretation of the content. Therefore, understanding and mastering Indonesian spelling well is very important. That focus on promoting cultural awareness and understanding within the team can help mitigate these challenges (Carla, 2001). There are several methods that can be implemented to improve students'' spelling skills. One effective approach is to incorporate regular spelling practice into the curriculum The paper emphasizes the importance of recognizing the diverse needs of students in writing instruction.

Abstract

The capital market is a place where investors buy and sell long-term securities, such as stocks and bonds. The capital market as a large place with many sellers and buyers interacting, determines the price of securities based on supply and demand. The purpose of the study was to determine whether the ratio of return on equity and return on assets partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on stock prices. The method used is regression analysis with a quantitative approach. The results of the study indicate that ROA and ROE have a positive effect on stock prices in coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Abstract

Financial report analysis is the process of breaking down data in financial reports into separate components, studying the relationships between components and getting a comprehensive picture. Business competition requires every company to be able to show the best performance from every business it runs. Financial performance measures can work well when applied to all business entities where operating investment and financing are collectively controlled by management. This analysis illustrates whether the company's performance is experiencing good growth or not through the method of calculating financial ratios by comparing financial reports for 2 periods. The preparation of financial reports must refer to generally accepted financial accounting principles. The aim of the research is to determine the financial performance of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk for the 2020 and 2021 periods using liquidity and profitability methods. The results of the discussion showed that the financial performance of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk is seen with fluctuating ratios every year, this is due to increases or decreases in financial report items, for example sales, inventory, profits, etc.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial statement analysis on investment decision making in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses secondary data in the form of financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during the 2019-2021 period. And of the eight iron and steel base metal subsector companies listed on the IDX, PT Betonjaya Manungal Tbk, PT Liomesh Prima Tbk, and PT Saranacentral Bajaratma have the highest final scoring level than the other averages and are companies that are worthy of investment media, which means that the company has a good level of future cash flow and low risk. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results showed that financial statement analysis has a positive and significant influence on investment decision making. This finding indicates that investors use the information contained in financial statements to assess company performance and make rational investment decisions. This research contributes to investors, company management, and capital market regulators in understanding the importance of financial statement analysis in making investment decision.

Abstract

In many areas, such as Asir-Asir Village, waste is a major problem. Analyzing the most common categories of waste and assessing waste management initiatives to reduce the amount of waste in the village were the objectives of this study. Data regarding waste composition, collection systems, and waste disposal were collected using survey, interview, and observation techniques. The results showed that most of the waste in Asir-Asir Village is organic waste. Waste segregation at source is one of the management initiatives that have been carried out, but organic waste processing still faces challenges. Based on these results, this study suggests several tactical steps to improve the effectiveness of waste management, including enhancing composting programs, creating waste banks, and encouraging social interaction to educate the community on the value of environmentally friendly waste management. As a result, it is expected that Asir-Asir Village will have a cleaner and healthier environment with less waste going to landfill.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has driven digital transformation in various sectors, including the distribution of goods. Logistics digitization, particularly through the use of website-based systems, can improve operational efficiency and enhance company competitiveness. This research aims to develop a multi-level user website-based cigarette order management system at CV Sentoso Jaya Tembakau to address the issues of inefficient management of distribution data, such as accounts, prices, stocks, and transactions. The developed system integrates the ordering process, stock management, and real-time turnover monitoring, making cigarette distribution more structured and efficient. The results show that the system successfully improved operational efficiency and reduced the potential for errors in managing distribution data. With this system, CV Sentoso Jaya Tembakau can manage cigarette distribution more effectively and transparently.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze common errors of English language learners in pronouncing vowel sounds. This study was conducted on grade 11 IPA 2 and IPS Al Wasliyah students using a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods and direct observation in the classroom. The results showed that difficulties in pronouncing vowel sounds were caused by linguistic interference from the mother tongue, lack of speaking practice, and less interactive learning methods. The vowel sounds most often mispronounced by students include /ɛ/, /ʊ/, /æ/, /i:/, /ɪ/, /ʌ/, and /ə/. Direct practice-based learning methods, the use of audiovisual media, and a supportive classroom environment have proven effective in improving students' pronunciation skills. In addition, positive acceptance of feedback and students' initiatives in correcting pronunciation errors also support the learning process. This study recommends the implementation of more interactive learning strategies, such as group discussions, roleplay, and the use of speech recognition technology to help students overcome vowel pronunciation difficulties and increase their confidence in communicating in English.

Abstract

The internship application process at PT Telkom Akses is still done conventionally, where the applicant must apply directly by bringing the application letter to the relevant department. This process involves several stages, including approval from superiors and time-consuming disposition, which can cause inconvenience and uncertainty for the applicant. The Internship Approval Information System is designed to improve efficiency and transparency in the internship application and approval process. The purpose of this information system is to improve the conventional system so that applicants can easily submit applications, receive information about the status of applications, and facilitate managers in monitoring and reporting internship application activities. In designing this system, the Workflow Management method is used to organize a clear and structured workflow, so that each step in the approval process can be carried out systematically and efficiently. The results of this system design are expected to be used as a prototype in developing internship approval information system software that is better, more efficient, and responsive to user needs at PT Telkom Akses.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the determining factors of Competitive Advantage in J&T Express Courier Services in Kendal Regency, Central Java. The research sample consists of 400 respondents from 20 districts in Kendal Regency. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that Marketing Mix, Service Quality, and Brand Trust are key factors determining Competitive Advantage in the case of J&T Express Courier Services in Kendal Regency. This study also highlights that there are other factors, aside from the variables examined, which may influence the Competitive Advantage of the Courier Service.
