Abstract

The threats related to computer viruses have become a highly significant issue in the era of technology. Data and computer system security are the primary concerns in various sectors, including businesses, government, and individuals. This research aims to examine how computer viruses are spread and how computer security works within the novel Spammer by Ronny Mailindra. The method used is hermeneutics. Based on the analysis and discussion, the findings reveal 1) Spyware for mobile phones, 2) Trojans, 3) Viruses, 4) Digital footprints, 5) Remote SSH. In the novel Spammer it is depicted that computer viruses are commonly disseminated through email spam, and one of the network security protocols that proves challenging to breach is the Secure Shell Protocol (SSH).

Abstract

The internet or interconnected networking is a network that connects computers of various types that form a network system that covers the entire world. This research aims to determine the quality of the internet network of PT Teladan Prima Agro (PT TPA). The research method used is Quality Of Service (QoS) with data retrieval techniques using Wireshark software. The results showed that the average QoS index of the PT. TPA office internet network based on the TIPHON standard obtained the result "Satisfactory". From the research results it can be concluded that the average level of internet network quality in the PT. TPA office area is in the good category and can support the performance of staff / employees in transferring data.

Abstract

The Library and Archives Office of Samarinda City has not yet implemented an information system to facilitate the management of employee data and the Rank Order List. In light of this issue, we propose a solution and recommend the creation of a Rank Order List based on a website. The method we utilized for developing this website is data collection. The outcome of this community service is the successful creation of a website implemented in the Library and Archives Office of Samarinda City, eliminating the need for manual data input.

Abstract

Rapid advances in technology, particularly in the Internet of Things (IoT), are enabling the development of devices and robots that can be operated remotely. This research explores the effects of APILASTIK Quality Check Robot Appearance and Features on User Satisfaction Level. This tool, developed by Computer Engineering Technology students at IPB University's Vocational School, aims to detect defects in production products. The robot attracted great attention when it was presented at IT FEST 2023, showing the potential for wide use. Evaluations of the robot's appearance and features showed a positive and significant influence on the level of user satisfaction, with each variable contributing 66.4% and 25.4%, respectively. Hypothesis testing confirmed the overall positive and significant impact, with the coefficient of determination (R2) reaching 82.7%. The results of multiple linear regression analysis and t-test show that the robot's appearance and features individually contribute significantly to user satisfaction. With these findings, we can understand the factors that influence user satisfaction with damage-scanning robots. The recommendation is to focus on feature development or appearance enhancement to improve overall user satisfaction.

Abstract

Cosplay, a global popular cultural phenomenon, presents a challenge for cosplayers in obtaining suitable costumes. For instance, with the surge in cosplay events in Surabaya in July 2023, the development of a costume rental application could be a solution. This application allows cosplayers to easily rent costumes, reducing the cost and effort of creating their own attire. Utilizing Collaborative Filtering and K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) methods, the app will recommend costumes based on user interactions within an implicit feedback system. This research aims to create a practical and cost-effective solution for cosplayers in fulfilling their costume needs for cosplay events.

Abstract

Temples are clear evidence of the technological capabilities of ancient people who produced magnificent buildings despite limited resources. Temples in Indonesia are relics of Hindu-Buddhist history that function as places of religious activity. Temples also have a religious meaning, related to Dewi Durga as the goddess of death. Besides being a tourist attraction, temples have an important role in recording the history of the Indonesian nation. However, the lack of information and public interest in visiting historical tourist destinations is a problem that needs to be overcome. The purpose of this research aims to develop a Virtual Reality (VR) application as a medium for introducing Android-based Jabung Temple, namely to provide easy access to visitors and the public at large regarding Jabung Temple and its cultural and historical heritage. Through this application, it is hoped that people can appreciate this extraordinary cultural heritage and play an active role in preserving it. This research uses various methods, including participant observation, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires. Data obtained from app users will be analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. Observations will look at how users interact with the application in a virtual reality environment, interviews will provide an in-depth understanding of the user experience, and questionnaires will collect responses and feedback from users. The results of this study, it is hoped that researchers can.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a website-based company profile as a promotional medium. The research method used in this study is the waterfall method. Data collection techniques include literature review, interviews, and observation. The design and construction of the website-based company profile for improving SME accessibility in Palopo City is designed using UML modeling language. The system is built using PHP programming language, Codeigniter Framework for data processing, HTML for website design, and MySQL database for data storage. The website-based company profile for improving SME accessibility in Palopo City is tested using Black Box testing, resulting in a well-functioning information system. Usability testing indicates that the system is suitable for use.

Abstract

This Information System makes a valuable contribution to educational institutions that wish to betterunderstand their educational and career paths, so that alumni can make more informed decisions for continuous improvement. This is an important step in encouraging data-based decision making and improving the quality of education. Baiturrahman Center Semarang does not yet have atracer study system so the school has difficulty getting alumni data as well. Based on these problems,the Islamic Center Baiturrahman Semarang Vocational School requires a Tracer Study Digitalization Information System designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD)method. RAD is applied in order to understand, analyze and integrate project or system developmentsquickly and efficiently. from this research, namely a digitalization information system based on tracerstudy, which is expected to help the Baiturrahman Islamic Center Vocational School Semarang inimproving its development.

Abstract

The rapid progress of information technology (IT) has created major challenges in interpersonal relationships, whether between individuals, communities, countries, or even clans. The development of information and communication technology has led to the emergence of new ideas among the general public. This causes the need for people who have the ability and high motivation to participate in the development of technology and information. .The research method uses a questionnaire method. According to Sukardi (1985) a questionnaire is a set of questions or statements that must be answered by respondents. This development method consists of several stages - In this research, we succeeded in collecting questionnaire response data from Binadarma students regarding the development of operating system learning. Data analysis shows that the majority of respondents expressed a high level of understanding of operating system material in the group interactive assignment learning method with a percentage of 56%, where students were 30% and female students were 26% and in the method of using technology as part of the process of learning operating system material with a percentage of 56%. where students are 26% and female students are 30%. However, there are difficulties faced by some students using the lecture method in understanding the material with a percentage of 62%, where 34% of students and 28% of female students. And in the statement based on learning sources, the majority of Binadarma students showed a high level of understanding of the material in learning sources through creative and interesting operating system material with a percentage of 68%, where students were 36% and female students were 32%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design and create an Expert System for Diagnosing Hardware Damage on Computers Using the Case Based Reasoning Method. This expert system is created so that computer users can know the initial picture of what damage is happening to their computer hardware. The application created is designed using Unified Modelling Language (UML) which consists of usecase diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The software used in the design of this application uses PHP programming language, XAMPP as webserver, MySql as database. This research produces an expert system application for diagnosing computer hardware damage using the case-based reasoning method which consists of several data management features that can only be done by admins. This app has been tested using accuracy testing methods. With this application, it is expected to help computer users find out the types of damage that are vulnerable to computer hardware and solutions to overcome the damage.
