Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan Modul Tematik Berbasis Etnopedagogi Pada Subtema Peristiwa Mengisi Kemerdekaan Untuk Siswa Kelas V Sd Negeri 17 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa modul yang valid untuk pembelajaran Tematik pada subtema Peristiwa Mengisi Kemerdekaan untuk siswa kelas V SD Negeri 17 Pekanbaru. Modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat pengetahuan dan menanamkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal atau budaya Melayu Riau pada diri siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahapan. (1) tahap analisis, yaitu analisis terhadap kurikulum, analisis siswa dan analisis guru, (2) tahap desain, yaitu melakukan rancangan terhadap produk yang telah ditentukan serta menyusun instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar validasi, (3) tahap pengembangan yaitu melakukan penulisan draft modul dan uji validitas. Sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian ahli desain dikategorikan sangat valid dengan presentase 95,53%. Kemudian penilaian ahli materi terhadap modul dikategorikan sangat valid dengan presentase 90,00%. Selanjutnya penilaian ahli bahasa terhadap modul dikategorikan 95,31%. Secara keseluruhan hasil validasi dari ahli desain, materi, dan ahli bahasa yang diperoleh yaitu rata-rata 93,61% dengan kriteria sangat valid.Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Modul, Etnopedagogi, Tematik Abstract: Thematic-Based Module Development Ethnopedagogic In Subtema Event Fills Independence For Students Of Grade V State Elementary School 17 Pekanbaru. This research aims to develop teaching materials in the form of valid modules for Thematic learning in the subthema of Events Filling Independence for students of class V of Negeri Elementary School 17 Pekanbaru. This developed learning module is expected to strengthen knowledge and instill local cultural values or Riau Malay culture in students. The methods in this study use development research with the ADDIE model. The study used three stages. (1) the analysis stage, namely the analysis of the curriculum, student analysis and teacher analysis, (2) the design stage, namely designing the product that has been determined and compiling research instruments, namely validation sheets, (3) the development stage is to write module drafts and validity tests. While the analytical techniques used are qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study showed that the assessment of design experts categorized as very valid with a percentage of 95.53%. Then the expert assessment of the material against the module is categorized as very valid with a percentage of 90.00%. Furthermore, the linguist's assessment of the module is categorized as 95.31%. Overall validation results from design experts, materials, and linguists obtained are an average of 93.61% with very valid criteria.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Modules, Ethnopedagogic, Thematic

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Students' Learning Outcomes and Critical Thinking Skills Through Application of Problem-Based Learning Strategies in Class Xi Mipa 4 Sma Negeri 1 Lubukpakam 2018/2019 Academic Year. This action research aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills in Biology subjects with the implementation of problem-based learning strategies in class XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubukpakam in the 2018/2019 school year. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubukpakam for the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 36 people. The implementation of this research was carried out in two cycles, with stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data obtained in the form of learning outcomes, critical thinking skills and observation sheets of learning activities. From the results of research in cycles I and II, it shows that: (1) the average value of student learning outcomes in Biology subjects has increased in each cycle, namely: cycle I = 74.44, cycle II = 81.67, and learning mastery has an increase in each cycle, namely the first cycle = 75.00% (27 people), the second cycle = 88.89% (32 people); (2) the average value of students' critical thinking skills increased in each cycle, namely: cycle I = 73.06, cycle II = 80.00, and the completeness of students' critical thinking skills increased in each cycle, namely cycle I = 72.22 % (26 people) and cycle II = 86.11% (31 people). The conclusion of this study is that problem-based learning strategies have a positive effect on improving student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills in Biology subjects in class XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubukpakam 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

Abstract: The Impact of Educational Reform in the 21st Century. The ongoing educational reform is to restore the role of education because everyone should not miss episodes of the education system that can elevate the high and noble dignity of life. With the will of various parties will certainly be able to realize the ideals and hopes of human life. Those expectations include; In politics, reform, which is believed to be rolling in the desired direction, not only stops reform but also continues these ideals and hopes. To advance the concept of education in Indonesia, several changes must be made, such as: 1) revamping the concept of conventional education; 2) Understanding education as an important part of efforts to create change for the better management of the life of the nation and state; 3) Creating education that can adapt to the changing nature of globalization; 4) Responding positively to the current globalization changes and then directing them to the concept of sustainable management, and 5) Creating the concept of sustainable education. Keywords: Reform, Education Abstrak: Dampak Reformasi Pendidikan di Abad 21. Reformasi pendidikan yang sedang berlangsung adalah mengembalikan peran pendidikan karena setiap orang tidak boleh melewatkan episode-episode sistem pendidikan yang dapat mengangkat harkat dan martabat kehidupan yang tinggi dan agung. Dengan kemauan berbagai pihak tentunya akan mampu mewujudkan cita-cita dan harapan hidup manusia. Harapan itu meliputi; politik, reformasi, yang diyakini akan bergulir ke arah yang diinginkan, tidak hanya menghentikan reformasi tetapi juga melanjutkan cita-cita dan harapan tersebut. Untuk memajukan konsep pendidikan di Indonesia, beberapa perubahan harus dilakukan, seperti: 1) pembenahan konsep pendidikan konvensional; 2) Memahami pendidikan sebagai bagian penting dari upaya menciptakan perubahan untuk pengelolaan kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara yang lebih baik; 3) Menciptakan pendidikan yang dapat menyesuaikan dengan perubahan sifat globalisasi; 4) Merespon perubahan globalisasi yang terjadi saat ini secara positif dan selanjutnya mengarahkannya pada konsep pengelolaan berkelanjutan (sustainability management), dan 5) Menciptakan konsep pendidikan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Reformasi, Pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract : Principal's Leadership Style on Teacher Performance in Teaching. The purpose of this study is to find out in writing whether the principal's leadership style can make a significant contribution to teacher performance in teaching. This type of research is a literature study, with five stages, namely (1) collecting literature and then reviewing several important terms in research, (2) collecting relevant research literature, (3) conducting in-depth analysis based on all the literature that has been obtained using compiling a discussion, (4) drawing conclusions based on the results of the analysis, (5) making suggestions based on the findings obtained. The conclusion of this study is that the principal's leadership style in writing can have a significant impact on teacher performance in teaching. Keywords: Principal's Leadership Style, Teacher Performance Abstrak : Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru Dalam Mengajar. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara tertulis, apakah gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dalam mengajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, dengan lima tahapan, yaitu (1) mengumpulkan literatur kemudian melakukan review terhadap beberapa istilah  penting  dalam penelitian, (2) mengumpulkan literatur hasil penelitian relevan, (3) melakukan analisis secara mendalam berdasarkan semua literatur yang telah diperoleh dengan menyusun pembahasan, (4) menyusun kesimpulan berdasarkan hasil analisis, (5) mengajukan saran berdasarkan temuan-temuan yang diperoleh. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah secara tertulis gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dalam mengajar. Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Guru

Abstract

Abstract: Curriculum Development of PGMI UINSU Medan Study Program Refers to KKNI with a Transdisciplinary approach. Islamic education is a system in order to create an idealized Muslim figure, namely a master of thought and remembrance (ūlul al-Bāb). Thus, the theory of education that is built must be derived from Islamic teachings as a reference to develop science and values that will be transistorized in educational practice. In realizing quality education, standardization is needed and well-systematized. For this reason, higher education institutions must refer to the curriculum that has been regulated by the government, namely the National curriculum based on KKNI. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) is one of the Study Programs (Study Programs) that organizes learning activities that refer to KKNI. In addition to implementing KKNI, PGMI also implements a Transdisciplinary curriculum that is characteristic of UIN North Sumatra Medan. This idea of transdisciplinary was born from the change of IAIN to UIN which manages diverse disciplines, namely general sciences and religious sciences. Transdisciplinary is a cross-disciplinary study for the study of one object of study that will produce synthesis, through cooperative efforts, so as to give birth to new knowledge, understanding, and perspectives. This research is development research that aims to produce: (1). Formulation of the KKNI curriculum in the PGMI FITK UIN SU Medan Study Program for the 2018/2019 academic year. (2). Formulation of Transdisciplinary approach in PGMI FITK UIN SU Medan Study Program for the academic year 2018/2019. (3). The results of curriculum development of PGMI study program refer to KKNI with transdisciplinary approach in semester learning plan (RPS) academic year 2018/2019.Keywords: PGMI, Curriculum, KKNI, Transdiscipline.Abstrak: Pengembangan Kurikulum Prodi PGMI UINSU Medan Merujuk KKNI dengan pendekatan Transdisiplin. Pendidikan Islam adalah sebuah sistem dalam rangka  mewujudkan sosok Muslim yang diidealkan yakni seorang yang ahli fikir dan zikir (ūlul al-Bāb). Dengan demikian, teori pendidikan yang dibangun harus bersumber dari ajaran Islam sebagai acuan untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai yang akan ditransinternalisasikan dalam praktek pendidikan. Dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas, dibutuhkan adanya standarisasi dan tersistematisasi dengan baik. Untuk itu lembaga pendidikan tinggi harus mengacu kepada kurikulum yang sudah diatur oleh pemerintah, yaitu kurikulum Nasional yang berbasis KKNI. Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) adalah salah satu Program Studi (Prodi) yang menyelenggarakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang mengacu kepada KKNI. Disamping menerapkan KKNI, PGMI juga  menerapkan kurikulum Transdisipliner yang menjadi ciri khas UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Gagasan Transdisiplin ini terlahir dari perubahan IAIN menjadi UIN yang mengelola disiplin ilmu yang beragam, yaitu ilmu-ilmu umum dan ilmu ilmu agama. Transdisipliner adalah kajian lintas disiplin ilmu untuk kajian satu objek kajian yang akan menghasilkan sintesa, melalui upaya kooperatif, sehingga dapat melahirkan ilmu pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan perspektif baru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (development research) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan: (1). Rumusan kurikulum KKNI di Program Studi PGMI FITK UIN SU Medan tahun akademik 2018/2019. (2). Rumusan pendekatan Transdisiplin di Program Studi PGMI FITK UIN SU Medan tahun akademik 2018/2019. (3). Hasil Pengembangan kurikulum Program Studi PGMI merujuk KKNI dengan pendekatan Transdisiplin dalam Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) tahun akademik 2018/2019.Kata Kunci: PGMI, Kurikulum, KKNI, Transdisiplin.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi COVID-19 sangat berpengaruh terhadap tatanan kehidupan masyarakat khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan. Dimana sebelum masa pandemi COVID-19 pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara tatap muka namun pada masa pandemi COVID-19 dilakukan dengan online, Hal ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran. Pendidikan sangat penting bagi suatu bangsa untuk mendidik dan membina siswa sebagai generasi penerus bangsa. Selain pendidikan formal dibutuhkan pendidikan non formal untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas dan inovasi siswa dalam menghadapi pandemi COVID-19 melalui pelatihan. Namun terkadang terkendala biaya untuk mengikuti pelatihan. Melihat usia siswa yang masih muda, merupakan peluang besar untuk dapat membimbing mereka  , Politeknik Penerbangan Medan hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat memberikan pelatihan karya seni akrilik.Dalam Pelatihan ini mereka dilatih dan dibimbing untuk mampu menghasilkan suatu karya seni akrilik yang kreatif dan inovatif sehingga mampu bersaing di pasaran. Dengan harapan dengan mereka memiliki keahlian untuk menghasilkan karya seni akrilik mereka mempunyai penghasilan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian mereka. Kata kunci: Pelatihan , Karya Seni Akrilik, Pandemi COVID-19 During the COVID-19 pandemic, it greatly affected the order of people's lives, especially in the field of education. Where before the COVID-19 pandemic, learning was done face-to-face but during the COVID-19 pandemic it was done online, this greatly affects learning outcomes. Education is very important for a nation to educate and nurture students as the nation's next generation. In addition to formal education, non-formal education is needed to increase students' creativity and innovation in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic through training. However, sometimes there are costs involved in participating in the training. Seeing the young age of students, it is a great opportunity to be able to guide them, Medan Aviation Polytechnic is present in the midst of the community through community service programs providing acrylic art training. creative and innovative so that they can compete in the market. Abstract

Differences in Learning Outcomes and Student Activities Using PBL and IL Models with Media Handouts on Chemical Equilibrium Materials. The purpose of this study is to determine: differences in learning outcomes and student activities with Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Inquiry Learning (IL) models with handout media on chemical equilibrium material. This research is conducted using the Pretest-Postest, Nonequivalent Multiple Group Design method which was carried out at Ar-Raudhatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School. The selected sample used a purposive sampling technique. Data is collected by using pretest and posttest to determine the increase in student learning outcomes and activities, observation sheets to observe student learning activities. Hypothesis I and II are tested using the independent sample t-test technique. Result of research indicate that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes and activities with PBL and IL models with handout media on chemical equilibrium material.

Abstract

Abstract: Teacher’s Role and Strategies in Enhancing Students’ Active Participation. Pupils’ active engagement in the classroom is important as implementing student-centered learning and increase students’ critical thinking. Dornyei (2007) claimed that the teacher is one of the factors that can influence students’ willingness to communicate. This study aimed to investigate teachers’ role and strategies in enhancing EFL learners’ tendency to talk. The researcher started to explore teacher’s contribution in supporting students’ self-confidence and effective strategies that could be applied in the classroom. This research used literature research methodology to explore the roles and approaches. The findings showed that the roles of the educators are as facilitator, and teacher’s attitude such as teacher’s wait time and techniques in delivering the message, influence students’ participation significantly during the learning process. Also, there are three techniques to reduce students’ reticence namely teacher-fronted strategy, facilitator-oriented strategy, and learner-oriented strategy. Finally, some suggestions have been remarked in the last chapter of this research. Keywords: Teacher’s role, Strategies, Active learners, participation Abstrak: Peran Guru dan Strategi Meningkatkan Partisipasi Siswa. Peran aktif siswa dikelas sangat penting dalam mengaplikasikan pembelajaran berbasis siswa dan juga untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis. Dornyei (2007) menyatakan bahwa guru adalah salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keinginan siswa untuk berbicara dikelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah peran serta strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Kontribusi guru dalam menumbuhkan motivasi siswa serta strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan siswa akan dibahas secara terperinci. Metode yang digunakan dalam meneliti kedua komponen tersebut adalah studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga peran penting guru, yaitu guru sebagai fasilitator, penggunaan waktu tunggu dikelas oleh guru dan juga teknik dalam penyampaian umpan balik. Juga, terdapat tiga strategi yang dapat digunakan yaitu strategi teacher’fronted, facilitator oriented dan juga learner oriented. Selain itu, saran untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa berbicara dikelas akan diuraikan pada bagian akhir penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, Strategi, Siswa, partisipasi
