Abstract

Direction Finder Triangulation is a method used to track the position of a radio signal source by utilizing a receiver equipped with directional antenna, requiring at least two refence sites. This method can assist radio communities such as The Indonesian Amateur Radio Organization (ORARI) in locationg radio signals, particularly during Fox Hunting activities. This paper aims to understand how the Direction Finder Triangulation method is use and to identify the parameters that influence the accuracy. The research applies the Direction Finder Triangulation method using several tools, including two Handy Talky as transmitter-receiver, 3 element Yagi Antenna for signal tracking, and Avenza Maps for measurement and mapping of angle points at each reference location. The research was conducted around Tanjungpura University area and involved 10 trials at distances ranging from an initial 100 meters to final 1000 meters. The results show that the accuracy of the Direction Finder Triangulation method exceeds 90%, with the lowest accuracy recorded at 91.30% and the highest at 99.72%. The farther the distance between transmitter and receiver, the weaker received signal strength becomes, and weaker signal strength leads to reduced accuracy. Direction Finder Triangulation method can facilitate radio communities in tracking radio signal positions and can also be used to locate illegaly operating transmitters.

Abstract

Sungai Jawi Drainage is one of the drainages in Pontianak City. This drainage has a function as an estuary for the surrounding ditches. In addition, Sungai Jawi drainage also has a function as a recreational facility for the surrounding community. Previous research that has been conducted shows that the discharge in the Sungai Jawi drainage is no more than 5 m3 /second. However, measurements were only taken at certain times. In this study, discharge measurements will be carried out for 26 hours or during one period of high and low tide. The discharge measurement method refers to SNI 8066:2015. The measurement results will be loaded into a graph to analyze how the dynamics of the discharge change over a measurement time interval of two hours.

Abstract

The persistent decline in students' academic performance in physics has become a major concern in secondary education systems across developing countries, including Nigeria. Conventional teaching methods, characterized by teacher-centered instruction and limited instructional resources, have been identified as key contributors to this challenge. This study examined the influence of technology-enhanced physics instruction on the academic performance of high school students in Anambra State, Nigeria. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design was adopted. A total of 180 senior secondary school II students were selected using a multistage sampling technique and assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group was taught selected physics concepts using technology-enhanced instructional strategies, including computer simulations, multimedia presentations, and virtual experiments, while the control group received conventional lecture-based instruction. Data were collected using a validated Physics Achievement Test (PAT), and analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results revealed a statistically significant difference in academic performance between students exposed to technology-enhanced instruction and those taught using traditional methods (p < 0.05). Students in the experimental group demonstrated superior achievement scores, indicating that technology-enhanced physics instruction significantly improved learning outcomes. The findings highlight the pedagogical value of integrating digital technologies into physics classrooms to enhance student engagement and academic achievement. The study concludes that technology-enhanced instruction is an effective approach for improving physics education in Nigerian secondary schools and recommends sustained investment in digital infrastructure and teacher professional development.

Abstract

Adolescence is a critical developmental period in which social interactions play a fundamental role in shaping emotional well-being. This study investigates the relationship between interpersonal communication, empathy, and happiness among secondary school students in Villavicencio, Chile. Drawing on a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from students enrolled in public and private high schools using validated self-report questionnaires measuring interpersonal communication skills, empathy, and subjective happiness. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression were employed to examine the relationships among variables. The findings reveal that interpersonal communication and empathy are positively and significantly correlated with students’ happiness. Interpersonal communication showed a strong association with empathy, indicating that effective communication skills facilitate greater emotional understanding and responsiveness toward others. Regression analysis further demonstrated that both interpersonal communication and empathy significantly predicted happiness, with empathy partially mediating the relationship between communication and well-being. These results suggest that adolescents’ happiness is closely linked to their capacity to communicate effectively and to engage empathetically within their social environment. The study contributes to the growing body of literature on social-emotional development in education by providing empirical evidence from a Latin American context, which remains underrepresented in existing research. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of integrating social-emotional learning programs into secondary education to foster communication skills and empathy as key determinants of student well-being. Despite its contributions, the study is limited by its cross-sectional design and reliance on self-report measures. Future research is encouraged to employ longitudinal and intervention-based approaches to further explore causal mechanisms and practical applications in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of cyber threats targeting critical infrastructures highlights the limitations of traditional centralized security systems, which suffer from latency, scalability constraints, and single points of failure. This study addresses this problem by examining how the integration of Blockchain and Machine Learning (ML) can strengthen predictive cyber defense and enhance real-time anomaly detection. The purpose of the research is to synthesize current evidence on the security, efficiency, and operational benefits of Blockchain–ML frameworks through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Following PRISMA guidelines, a structured search was conducted across four major databases IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Web of Science covering peer-reviewed literature published between 2020 and 2025. Using a four-category keyword strategy, the review initially identified 1100 records, ultimately narrowing the final dataset to 25 studies that met all inclusion criteria. The results indicate that Blockchain significantly enhances data integrity, auditability, and threat-intelligence reliability, while ML improves predictive accuracy and supports real-time detection. Together, these technologies outperform conventional centralized systems in terms of transparency, resilience, and operational efficiency. The study concludes that Blockchain–ML integration provides a robust foundation for next-generation, decentralized cybersecurity architectures, offering measurable improvements in security and system performance.

Abstract

UMKM pangan lokal memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah, namun menghadapi kendala inovasi, digitalisasi, dan efektivitas kemitraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan arah dan pola riset global mengenai inovasi produk dan kemitraan strategis serta menganalisis keterkaitannya bagi penguatan UMKM pangan lokal di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Pendekatan bibliometrik dan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) digunakan dengan publikasi tahun 2021–2025 dari ScienceDirect, dianalisis melalui VOSviewer dan pedoman PRISMA 2020. Hasil bibliometrik menunjukkan peningkatan penelitian global dengan tema dominan digital transformation, circular economy, green innovation, dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. SLR terhadap 21 artikel menunjukkan bahwa inovasi produk dan kemitraan strategis merupakan faktor kunci peningkatan daya saing yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal (kapasitas organisasi, literasi digital) dan faktor eksternal (dukungan kebijakan, transfer teknologi, jejaring). Gap penelitian terletak pada minimnya model integratif inovasi dengan kemitraan dan kurangnya kajian kontekstual untuk wilayah seperti NTB. Penelitian ini menghasilkan pemetaan struktur pengetahuan dan kerangka konseptual yang dapat menjadi dasar strategi penguatan UMKM pangan lokal melalui peningkatan inovasi produk dan pengembangan kemitraan strategis yang lebih terarah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri 42 Kota Ternate. Perkembangan teknologi digital memberikan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis teknologi digital yang digunakan, menganalisis implementasinya dalam proses pembelajaran, serta mengevaluasi efektivitasnya terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket yang disebarkan kepada 4 orang guru bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi digital menunjukkan hasil sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata persentase 96%. Seluruh responden menyatakan bahwa sekolah memiliki fasilitas teknologi digital (100%), siswa lebih mudah memahami materi (100%), minat belajar siswa meningkat (100%), dan akses sumber belajar semakin luas (100%). Namun, akses internet masih menunjukkan angka 80% yang mengindikasikan adanya tantangan yang perlu mendapat perhatian untuk optimalisasi integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Role of Christian Education: Strengthening the Christian Identity of Teenagers in the Midst of the Influence of Social Media. Social media has become an integral part of teenagers' daily lives and affects the way they interact, think, and shape self-identity. In this context, the Christian identity of teenagers faces increasingly complex challenges due to various digital content that is not always in line with the values of the Christian faith. Although there is a lot of research on Christian education, empirical studies that specifically examine the role of Christian Education in strengthening the Christian identity of teenagers in the digital era are still limited. This research aims to describe the influence of social media on Christian teenagers and examine the role of Christian Religious Education in strengthening their Christian identity. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with the survey method. The data was collected through a Likert scale questionnaire given to 120 Christian teenagers in Mojokerto Regency and analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of a percentage. Research results show that social media has a positive and negative influence on the formation of adolescent Christian identity. In addition, Christian Religious Education plays an important role as a protective mechanism in strengthening the identity of youth's faith through the formation of faith awareness, critical attitude, and moral steadfastness in facing the challenges of the digital world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesadaran halal, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), dan kepercayaan merek terhadap minat beli ulang produk kosmetik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kepada 120 responden yang telah membeli dan menggunakan produk kosmetik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-WOM dan kepercayaan merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli ulang, sedangkan kesadaran halal tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial. Namun, secara simultan kesadaran halal, e-WOM, dan kepercayaan merek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli ulang produk kosmetik.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool with the potential to advance education, empowerment, and entrepreneurship for marginalized populations. This study examines the role of AI technologies in enhancing educational access, social empowerment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for Afghan women, who have historically faced sociopolitical and cultural constraints. Using a quantitative descriptive research design, data were collected from 150 students across four faculties at Vision Online University. Findings reveal that the majority of participants are at least somewhat familiar with AI technologies, with 77% perceiving AI as significantly improving learning opportunities for women. AI is recognized not only as a facilitator of personalized education and digital skills acquisition but also as an enabler of financial independence and entrepreneurial engagement. Participants identified key barriers, including limited access to devices and the internet, low digital literacy, and societal restrictions, which impede effective adoption. The study highlights AI’s multidimensional impact in fostering knowledge, autonomy, and economic participation, while emphasizing the need for inclusive implementation strategies. By addressing infrastructural and cultural challenges, AI can serve as a sustainable mechanism for promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and economic development in Afghanistan. These insights underscore the potential of AI to empower Afghan women as active contributors to national progress.
