Abstract

This study discusses in depth the dynamics of philosophical Sufism with a focus on the concepts of hulul, ittihad, and wahdatul wujud as the pinnacle of human ontological awareness of God. These three concepts represent the highest phase of spiritual journey where the boundaries between the divine and the human merge into a unity of existence. This study uses a qualitative-philosophical approach with a Sufi hermeneutic model to interpret the inner meaning of classical Sufi texts such as the works of al-Hallaj and Ibn 'Arabi. The data were analysed through three stages of interpretation: exoteric (textual), esoteric (symbolic), and transcendental (ontological). The results show that philosophical Sufism not only contains metaphysical aspects, but also epistemological and spiritual values that build a dynamic relationship between reason and intuition. Through an understanding of hulul, ittihad, and wahdatul wujud, humans are guided to realise that their existence is a reflection of divine reality. Thus, this study affirms that the unity of existence is not the loss of human existence, but rather the unification of consciousness in the presence of an absolute and comprehensive God.

Abstract

This article explores the relationship between the concept of limits in mathematics and the verse (QS. Yusuf: 76), which emphasizes that above every knowledgeable person there is one who is more All-Knowing. The limit in calculus describes an endless process of approximation, where a function approaches a certain value without ever actually reaching it. This concept has a philosophical correlation with the teachings of the Qur'an that emphasize intellectual humility and the awareness that human knowledge is always limited compared to God's knowledge. Through a textual and contextual analysis approach, this article examines how the verse is understood by classical and contemporary commentators and interprets it within the framework of modern mathematical epistemology. The analysis finds that both the concept of the limit and the content of the verse teach that the pursuit of knowledge is a continuously evolving process without an endpoint. Thus, the collaboration between science and sacred texts can open a new paradigm in understanding the relationship between mathematical rationality and divine spirituality.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of key factors on overall student satisfaction in private universities in Balkh Province, Afghanistan. Five primary factors teaching quality, educational facilities, administrative management, social environment, and costs were examined as independent variables. Data were collected from 350 students using a standardized questionnaire and analyzed through multivariate linear regression in SPSS. The statistical analysis revealed that the model explains 97.7% of the variance in overall student satisfaction, indicating high explanatory power. Findings suggest that teaching quality, educational facilities, and administrative management have a significant positive impact on student satisfaction, while social environment and costs showed no significant effect. Among these, teaching quality emerged as the strongest predictor, playing a pivotal role in enhancing students’ academic experience and motivation. These results align with prior research and underscore the importance of improving educational processes and efficient management to elevate student satisfaction. Given the local context of Afghanistan and post-COVID-19 challenges, this study introduces novelty by exploring the influence of digital technology on satisfaction factors. Based on the findings, it is recommended that universities prioritize faculty development, upgrade educational facilities, and streamline administrative systems to enhance educational quality and student experience. Future research should adopt a broader approach to examine the role of costs, financial equity in education, and digital factors in student satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concept and implementation of Islamic diplomacy as an alternative paradigm in global conflict resolution. Islamic diplomacy departs from the ethical principles of the Qur'an such as 'adl (justice), sulḥ (peace), ṣidq (honesty), and rahmah (compassion) which place morality at the core of relations between countries. Through a library research approach, this study examines classical and contemporary literature on international relations theory, Islamic political thought, and the diplomatic practices of Islamic world institutions such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League. The results of the study show that Islamic diplomacy is not just a political instrument, but a value system that serves to build global justice and sustainable peace. In the modern context, Islamic diplomacy can be actualized through a model  of clean diplomacy that is free from narrow interests, political manipulation, and power hegemony. This reactualization includes the integration of Islamic values in foreign policy, strengthening the role of Islamic multilateral institutions, and ethics-based digital diplomacy. In conclusion, Islamic diplomacy offers a moral and spiritual paradigm that is able to correct the ethical void in conventional diplomacy and become the foundation for a peaceful, just, and civilized world order

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning interest in Mathematics through the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in Grade III of SDN 101/II Muara Bungo. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design using the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, which was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages. The participants were 35 elementary students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using descriptive techniques. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ learning interest across three indicators—attention, active participation, and positive attitude toward learning activities. The average percentage of learning interest increased from 40.37% in the pre-cycle, to 53.80% in Cycle I, and reached 73.84% in Cycle II. These results indicate that the STAD model successfully created an engaging, collaborative, and student-centered learning environment. The use of “mystery card” learning media during the STAD process also enhanced students’ motivation and engagement. Therefore, the STAD model proved effective in increasing students’ interest in learning Mathematics at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Drylands are areas that are vulnerable to environmental degradation due to low rainfall, soil erosion, and limited water resources. The book Managing Dryland Resources – An Extension Manual for Eastern and Southern Africa (IIRR, 2002) presents a variety of practical approaches to managing these challenges. This article reviews Chapter 4: Soils and Water, which focuses on soil and water conservation strategies, pit composting, irrigation and drip irrigation utilization, rainwater harvesting, and sandy river water utilization innovations. The results of the review show that this chapter is strong in presenting field experience and local wisdom combined with modern technology, although it is still limited in quantitative data and socio-economic analysis. These findings confirm that the chapter is relevant as a practical guide for smallholders, extension workers, and stakeholders in sustainable agricultural management in arid regions, both in Africa and in similar regions such as West and East Nusa Tenggara in Indonesia.

Abstract

The continuous development of electronic systems has made the analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits more sophisticated, thus posing great difficulties to the existing fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) methods. Traditional methods are mostly non-scalable, cannot be adapted to different situations and cannot even sometimes recognize the same fault among various conditions. The present work is to compare the fault diagnosing performance of various models based on neural networks (NNs) in electronic circuits and to point out the NN architectures, optimizations and hybrid learning techniques that the FDD performance of the NN models. A thorough literature review study was done for 28 papers attesting the use of NNs in the circuit fault diagnosis written between the years 2016 and 2025 published in the scientific journals of IEEE Xplore, Springer, Elsevier, and MDPI. The types of neural network architectures, fault classification accuracy, noise and dynamics robustness, and benefits from optimization and feature extraction methods were the main aspects of the papers under review. The findings show that multi-valued neuron networks, conditional variational NNs, convolutional neural networks, denoising autoencoders, and optimized backpropagation models continuously outperform the traditional methods by acquiring higher accuracy, faster convergence and robust fault detection even in the most complex and demanding real-time environments. In addition, the training process is made easier and fault identification is made wider by optimization and hybrid learning approaches through improved training efficiency and multi-fault classification. Generally, neural network-based FDD offers an intelligent, adaptive, and resilient solution that has the power to revolutionize the development of future electronic systems with the characteristic of being smart and robust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of local wisdom as a strategic approach to improving financial literacy and independence among students at Islamic Junior High Schools (MTs) in East Lombok. Amidst the challenges of low national financial literacy, local wisdoms such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), begawe (joint work), begibung (joint work), family social gatherings (arisan keluarga), and traditional crafts hold significant potential as contextual and accessible learning resources for students. This study employed descriptive qualitative methods through literature review, contextual observation, and thematic analysis to explore cultural values relevant to financial learning. The results indicate that integrating local wisdom into learning improves students' understanding of money management, financial planning, risk management, and entrepreneurial skills through hands-on, experiential activities. Furthermore, this approach contributes to the development of financial character traits such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as a lack of culture-based modules, limited supporting facilities, and inadequate teacher training. This study recommends strengthening collaboration between madrasas, local governments, and the community to develop a sustainable, locally based financial literacy model.
