Abstract

This paper aims to know the type errors that happened in speaking daily activities of eight grade of SMP Islam Pancor Kopong. This research used qualitative design. This study was focused on analyzing the type of errors that’s produce by students in simple present tense that have been collected from 15 students of eight grade of SMP Islam Pancor Kopong. The data can be found by spoken test. The researcher ask the student to tell about daily activities. This test should be completed by subjects in order to find out the errors in their speaking. The risults of this research. The researcher found some  type of errors such as omission, addition, misformation and misodering. Omission (29 errors = 39.19%), followed by misformation (20 errors = 27.03%), addition (14 errors = 18.92%) and misodering (11 erros = 14.86%).

Abstract

This research is about the effect of forum group discussion method towards student’s speaking skill at the tenth grade student’s. This research aimed to know whether or not the effect of forum group discussion method towards the students’ speaking skill effectively at the tenth grade of MTs NW MONTONG MAS. This research applied Pre-Assessment, Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. The population of this research was students in the 11th grade and the sample of this research consists of 25 students of MTs NW MONTONG MAS. The Researcher collected the data by giving the pre-assessment, cycle 1 and cycle 2, formulated in an oral test containing the speaking test. The data collected through pre-assessment, cycle 1 and cycle 2 were firstly tabulated and analyzed in percentage. The result could see that the percentages of students’ speaking skill were improved in each cycle. The result of students’ speaking wasalways positive and increased well, the improvement of students’ speaking skill occurred from pre-assessment until last cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan teknik dan metode penerjemahan, serta melihat dampaknya terhadap kualitas terjemahan dari segi keakuratan, keberterimaan serta keterbacaan terjemahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 jenis sumber data. terdiri dari 2 jenis sumber data, yaitu buku sumber dan terjemahannya sebagai sumber data objektif. Sumber data kedua adalah kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 12 macam teknik penerjemahan dari 149 data adalah kalke 32, peminjaman murni 27, amflipikasi 20, transposisi 19, modulasi 16, peminjaman naturalisasi13, deskripsi 6, terjemah harfiah 6, partikularisasi 4, generalisasi 3, reduksi 2, padanan lazim 1. Ada empat teknik yang menekankan pada bahasa sumber yaitu kalke, peminjaman murni, peminjaman naturalisasi dan penerjemahan harfiah. Sisa data lainnya menekankan pada bahasa sasaran yaitu amplifikasi, transposisi, modulasi, deskripsi, partikularisasi dan generalisasi. Dari segi keakuratan, 144 data diterjemahkan secara akurat, 5 data diterjemahkan dengan tidak akurat. Dalam hal keberterimaan, sebanyak 136 berterima, kurang berterima dan tidak berterima sebanyak sebelas data. Dari aspek keterbacaan 129 data memiliki tingkat keterbacaan tinggi dan 20 data dengan tingkat keterbacaan rendah.
