Abstract

Every woman wants her birth process to run smoothly and normally. The birth process can be normal (normal parturition), but there are also birth processes that have problems so that an operation called a caesarean section is required. In the past and to this day, sectio caerasea is a scary procedure. But currently the number of cesarean sections is increasing and there are even pregnant women who want to give birth by surgery. The aim of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the increase in the choice of caesarean section delivery at Permata Hati Kisaran Hospital in 2024. Quantitative type of research and cross-sectional design. The sample for this study was 83 women giving birth at Permata Hati Kisaran Hospital using the chi square test and multiple logistic regression analysis. The results of this study show that the most dominant variable is complications during pregnancy (p= 0.00; Exp(B)=31.3). It is recommended that women giving birth with pregnancy complications for both mother and baby should decide on caesarean section because caesarean section be a decision taken immediately due to an emergency situation. So that pregnant women can avoid complications during pregnancy and childbirth later and it is recommended that midwifery staff carry out more precise anamnesis and examinations of pregnant women because this will have an impact on the type of delivery.

Abstract

This research explores the use of synthetic data in Length Recency Frequency Monetary (LRFM) analysis and K-Means clustering for customer segmentation. It is challenging to access accurate and comprehensive customer data, this study generates synthetic data using Time-series Generative Adversarial Networks (TimeGAN) to supplement or replace original data. LRFM analysis is used to measure customer characteristics based on the dimensions of Length, Recency, Frequency, and Monetary, which are then applied to clustering using the K-Means algorithm. The quality of clustering is evaluated using the Silhouette Coefficient and Davies-Bouldin Index. The results show that the Silhouette Coefficient for synthetic data is 0.42, slightly higher compared to the original data which has a value of 0.41. Meanwhile, the Davies-Bouldin Index for synthetic data is 0.90, slightly higher than the original data which has a value of 0.89. This indicates that synthetic data can mimic the characteristics of real data without compromising the accuracy and quality of clustering. By combining synthetic data, LRFM analysis, and K-Means clustering, this research provides in-depth insights into customer segmentation. The findings are expected to help companies develop more effective marketing strategies, enhance customer retention, and optimize overall customer experience. This study asserts that synthetic data is a valid alternative to real data in customer analysis.

System validation is done through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with a Likert scale to assess aspects of design, usability, efficiency, and reliability. The test results show an average score of 81.67%, which is classified as very good, indicating the system meets the needs of information-based performance appraisal with accurate results and supports the implementation of talent management as a whole.

Abstract

Prudential Indonesia's crisis communication strategy in dealing with customer lawsuits against unilateral claim cancellation is categorized as a preventable crisis. Using the Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) and Image Restoration Theory frameworks, this study evaluates Prudential Indonesia's steps in responding to crises, managing reputation, and restoring public trust. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach, involving the analysis of online media news content, social media, and related documents. The results of the analysis show that Prudential Indonesia took good steps through a quick and appropriate response to comply with the Constitutional Court's decision and improve policies related to claims management and procedural transparency. However, weaknesses in the form of a lack of transparency and protection for customers still risk raising public dissatisfaction with Prudential Indonesia's response which is still too general. The recommendations of this study include increasing the transparency of the claims process, strengthening insurance agent training, adopting the Ex Gratia claims policy, reviewing and adjusting policy terms, improving customer complaint services, and proactively communicating with the public. By implementing this strategy, Telkomsel is expected to mitigate the impact of similar crises in the future and maintain its reputation as a trusted telecommunications service provider in Indonesia.
