Abstract

As the only electricity provider in Indonesia, PLN is required to be reliable in distributing electrical energy to customers, this is greatly influenced by several PLN assets in the form of distribution substations. The function of this distribution substation is quite crucial in carrying out PLN's business processes to distribute electrical energy. In this study, efforts were made to improve the reliability of distribution substations by knowing the health index in accordance with EDIR PLN No. 017 concerning Distribution Transformer Maintenance Methods Based on Asset Management Principles as the Basis of the Health Index. By knowing the health level of the transformer at the distribution substation, the substation that has substandard criteria can be prioritized for maintenance. The research carried out was to take a sample in 1 month, namely March 2024, from a total of 239 substations, which were then classified using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method which was compiled in the Python programming language which had been labeled with criteria on each substation. The criteria used in accordance with PLN EDIR No. 017 PLN are Good, Sufficient, Less and Poor. By using Machine Learning according to the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method with Supervised Learning, after the data samples were labeled, then from 239 sample data, it was divided into 2 data, namely training data and test data. In this study, the experiment was carried out with changes in training data by 60%, 70%, 80% and 90% which were then evaluated for accuracy using libary from Python.

Abstract

In the competitive cement industry landscape, PT SMPD faces significant challenges in ensuring competent successors for key positions. This research proposes a comprehensive career management strategy to address this issue, focusing on leadership development and succession planning, competency management, cultural transformation, and strategic alignment. Using a qualitative methodology, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analyses over three months at PT SMPD. The findings indicated considerable gaps in recruitment, competency development, and leadership training. The proposed strategy includes a 24-month phased implementation plan starting with succession planning and leadership development, followed by competency assessment, performance management, and HR technology integration. The strategy emphasised strong executive support, dedicated cross-functional teams, effective communication, and prioritising data and analysis. The results show that a structured approach to career management can significantly improve leadership pathways, employee engagement, and organisational performance. By implementing this strategy, PT SMPD can develop a future-ready workforce, achieve strategic goals, and emerge as an industry leader in career management practices.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which the training provided to the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) facilitators can improve their performance, as well as how the motivation possessed by PKH facilitators affects their performance. Additionally, this study also evaluates the role of remuneration in mediating the relationship between training, motivation, and the performance of PKH facilitators. This study uses simple random sampling technique with the population of PKH facilitators. Each member of the population has an equal chance of being selected as a sample. The approach used in this study is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with measurement model using Smart PLS version 3.2.9. The results of the study indicate that motivation and remuneration are important factors influencing the performance of PKH facilitators. However, training does not have a significant impact on performance, either directly or indirectly through remuneration. These findings suggest that to improve the performance of PKH facilitators, greater attention should be given to enhancing motivation and remuneration.

Abstract

The development of studies in a scientific field is often not accompanied by equal progress in ethical and moral aspects, which causes the practice of theory to not integrate with spiritual values. This condition causes the implementation of human intellectual disharmony with the expected morality in society. As a foothold in the development of science, philosophy of science must be used as a basis for reformulating the moral content and spiritual values of modern science in order to redefine the foundations of science and technology, both at the levels of epistemology, ontology and axiology. Accounting as part of the object of study of science and knowledge must be directed at reformulating spiritual values that alienate ethics and morals. Modern accounting science which precipitates free material and values makes accounting towards materialistic, egoistic, secularistic and atheistic. Coupled with the assumption that humans are homo economicus, who are opportunistic, greedy and risk themselves, increasingly color the cases that occur. Restructuring the accounting conceptual framework that leads to Islamic spiritual values based on truth and justice is very important to do. Because, in the context of modern accounting science which precipitates material and is free of value it will bring accounting science to capitalist thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the satisfaction level of road users on Jalan Boulevard Barat Raya and the Kelapa Gading - Pulo Gebang Toll Road. Evaluating user satisfaction is crucial for assessing transportation infrastructure performance and prioritizing road maintenance and development. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to drivers and passengers of private and online four-wheeled vehicles. The research applied the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods, focusing on nine indicators from the Indonesian Ministerial Regulation No. 14 of 2017, including requirements, procedures, completion time, costs, service specifications, implementer competence, behavior, complaint handling, and facilities. The CSI results revealed that road users are "Very Satisfied" with both roads, with Jalan Boulevard Barat Raya scoring 90.7% and the Kelapa Gading - Pulo Gebang Toll Road scoring 90.85%. However, IPA analysis identified several variables in quadrant 1, indicating high importance but low performance. These variables include: (B1) reasonable tariffs without additional costs, (PP1) friendly and polite officers handling complaints, (SM1) availability of complaint forums, and (SP1) adequate supporting facilities. These findings highlight areas needing improvement to enhance user satisfaction further. Overall, the study underscores the importance of addressing specific service gaps to maintain high satisfaction levels among road users.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of technological advancements on the behavior of seventh-grade students at SMP MBS Zam-Zam Cilongok. The research aims to determine the extent to which technological developments influence student behavior, providing insights into both the positive and negative effects of technology use in educational settings. To achieve this, the study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving seventh-grade students, caregivers, and teachers. Findings reveal that technology offers positive effects, such as easier access to information and support for learning, but also poses challenges, including addiction, concentration issues, and potential exposure to negative content. The pesantren has implemented various policies to mitigate these negative effects, such as limiting gadget usage, providing digital literacy education, and strict supervision. Technology is also selectively utilized to enhance learning quality without neglecting the pesantren's traditional values. However, the implementation of these policies faces challenges, including limited resources, inconsistent adherence by students, and insufficient human resource readiness. This study underscores the importance of synergy between pesantren administrators, parents, and the community to optimize the wise use of technology in accordance with Islamic values. Furthermore, more comprehensive research is needed to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other pesantren administrators in formulating relevant policies in the digital era while supporting the pesantren's vision of shaping students who are faithful, pious, and possess noble character

Abstract

The protection of children's digital privacy has become an increasingly critical issue in the modern digital age, as children are more connected to the internet than ever before. This study conducts a comparative analysis of child privacy protection frameworks in Indonesia, Europe, and the United States, focusing on legislative approaches, enforcement mechanisms, and parental in-volvement. While the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe provides a com-prehensive and flexible framework, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States takes a more targeted approach, focusing on children under 13. Indonesia’s Per-sonal Data Protection Law (PDP Law), still in development, offers potential but lacks specific child-focused provisions. Key findings highlight the strengths and weaknesses of these frame-works, particularly in age thresholds for consent, parental involvement mechanisms, and penal-ties for violations. This study underscores the need for Indonesia to harmonize its legal frame-work with international best practices by incorporating child-specific protections, fostering digital literacy, and strengthening enforcement mechanisms. By leveraging lessons from global stand-ards, Indonesia can ensure a safer and more empowering digital environment for its younger generation. The research provides actionable insights for policymakers, educators, and technol-ogy providers to collaboratively address the complexities of safeguarding children’s digital privacy.
