Abstract

Toll roads play a crucial role in supporting national economic mobility and growth. Quality risks such as grain leakage, crocodile skin cracks, curls, grooves, removal of asphalt layers, and collapses frequently occur on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, specifically in the Balaraja-Cikupa section. This study aims to integrate the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method with the ISO 9001:2015 standard to enhance risk management within the quality management system of toll road projects. It also evaluates the model’s effectiveness in reducing potential failures, improving quality, and aiding decision-making. The study focuses on selected clauses from the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, including planning and controlling operations, product and service requirements, control of externally provisioned processes, and involvement of production and service providers. The Risk Priority Number (RPN) is used to analyze potential failure modes, measured by severity, occurrence, and detection. At the study site, the highest RPN value was 294, linked to an asphalt mixture that was insufficiently liquid. The failure modes most strongly related to quality degradation were cracks and deformations undetected during initial inspections (X2-9), with a correlation of 0.922 and a significance value of 0.000. The combined effect of all free variables (X1, X2, X3, X4) on the decrease in work quality at the site (Y) accounted for 70.7%. This integration of FMEA and ISO 9001:2015 provides a valuable framework for improving risk management and quality assurance in toll road projects.

Abstract

Generation Z has emerged as a significant force in capital markets, with their investment participation growing substantially in recent years. However, understanding the factors influencing their investment decisions remains limited, particularly in emerging markets such as Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the influence of capital market knowledge, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and locus of control on stock investment decisions among Generation Z investors in Jambi Province, Indonesia. The study employed a quantitative approach using purposive sampling with 220 respondents aged 18–30 years who are active stock investors. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 22. The results indicate that all three independent variables—fundamental analysis (β = 0.163, p < 0.05), technical analysis (β = 0.361, p < 0.05), and locus of control (β = 0.205, p < 0.05)—have significant and positive influences on investment decisions. Technical analysis demonstrates the strongest effect, followed by locus of control and fundamental analysis. These findings reveal that Generation Z's investment decisions are shaped by both analytical capabilities (fundamental and technical analysis) and psychological factors (locus of control). The research contributes to financial literacy development by providing insights for the Indonesia Stock Exchange and securities companies to design more effective educational programs tailored to Generation Z’s characteristics, ultimately promoting more informed and rational investment decision-making among young investors.

In the competitive era of globalization, employee performance plays a crucial role in maintaining the sustainability and productivity of a company. This study aims to analyze the effect of job insecurity and work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT Chang Jui Fang Indonesia. The issue arises from a decline in employee performance achievements, which are suspected to be influenced by job insecurity and suboptimal work environment conditions. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 326 production employees, selected using simple random sampling. Data analysis is performed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach through SmartPLS 4 software. The independent variables in this study are job insecurity (X1) and work environment (X2), the mediating variable is job satisfaction (Z), and the dependent variable is employee performance (Y). The results of the study show that job insecurity negatively and significantly affects job satisfaction and performance. On the other hand, the work environment positively and significantly affects job satisfaction and performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction was found to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The analysis of indirect effects indicates that job satisfaction significantly mediates the effect of job insecurity and work environment on performance. Thus, companies need to pay attention to psychological factors, particularly in reducing job insecurity and creating a conducive work environment to improve job satisfaction and ultimately lead to better employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of millennial leadership style on employee loyalty in the Production Operations Division of PT XYZ, an energy company in the oil and gas sector. Employing a quantitative approach through simple linear regression, the study involved 68 respondents, including production operators and laboratory technicians. The millennial leadership style was measured using six key indicators, while employee loyalty was assessed through f indicators reflecting affective commitment and organizational attachment. The statistical analysis reveals that millennial leadership style has a strong and significant effect on employee loyalty, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.765. This means that 76.5% of the variation in loyalty is explained by leadership factors. The most influential indicators are decision-making ability and emotional control, both correlating at 0.66. Open communication and a sense of responsibility were also highly valued by employees. Workers expressed strong loyalty when led by empathetic, supportive, and communicative leaders. Conversely, the absence of such leadership increased the risk of turnover intentions. This study concludes that effective millennial leadership significantly enhances employee loyalty and offers protective effects against workforce turnover. Thus, a leadership approach rooted in empathy, collaboration, and participative management is essential for fostering emotional bonds and long-term organizational sustainability.
