Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage in digital marketing on Generation Z consumers' decision-making. In the rapidly growing digital era, the implementation of AI in marketing strategies has become crucial in attracting attention and influencing consumer behavior. This research employs a modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to analyze the factors affecting Generation Z's purchase intention, with independent variables including ad personalization, Chatbots, AI-based recommendations, and AI-supported Augmented Reality (AR). Additionally, the study examines mediating variables such as trust in AI technology and moderating variables such as loyalty toward platforms using AI. The research employs a quantitative approach using a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The respondents are 384 Generation Z consumers who actively shop online and interact with AI technology. Data analysis techniques include PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling) to test relationships between variables and IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) to assess the performance and importance of variables related to purchase intention. The analysis results indicate that the use of AI technology in digital marketing has a significant positive impact on Generation Z consumers' decision-making, with trust in AI technology serving as a significant mediating variables. Moreover, loyalty to brands using AI plays a moderating role in this influence.

Abstract

This study explores a community empowerment initiative undertaken by PT Borneo Indobara, a coal mining company operating in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, focusing on the development of an integrated poultry farming center. The research examines the strategic framework adopted by the company to align with the concept of a future-fit society, one that is resilient, inclusive, and economically sustainable beyond the lifespan of extractive industries. Through a qualitative case study approach, the paper investigates how PT Borneo Indobara integrates local potentials, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building in establishing a long-term productive economic unit for the surrounding community. The study finds that the establishment of the integrated poultry center is already underway, beginning with the implementation of a poultry farming program as an entry-point strategy for market creation. This initiative primarily aims to lay the foundation for the eventual development of a local livestock feed factory. The overall strategy envisions a self-sustaining and integrated value chain, spanning feed production, poultry farming, and product marketing, where each component supports the others, fostering local economic independence. Particular emphasis is placed on the company’s exit strategy, designed to ensure program continuity, community ownership, and institutional sustainability after the closure of mining operations.

Abstract

Millennial workers, who make up a significant portion of Jakarta’s corporate workforce, increasingly prioritize career success, growth, and support in their work. This research explores the impact of Perceived Opportunities for Competency Development (POCD) and Organizational Support for Career Development (OSCD) on Organizational Commitment (OC), with Subjective Career Success (SCS) acting as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected from Millennial corporate employees in Jakarta with at least three years of work experience who have experienced some form of subjective career success. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was employed to examine the relationships among the variables. The findings indicate OSCD and SCS have a significant and positive impact on the organizational commitment of Millennial Corporate Workers in Jakarta, while POCD was found to have the opposite effect. However, SCS acts as a partial mediator for OSCD and OC and also exhibits a competitive mediation effect on the relationship between POCD and OC. These findings provide critical implications for organizations in developing effective HR strategies to retain Millennial talent, optimize career development programs, and enhance organizational commitment through strategic career support mechanisms.

Abstract

Body image concerns and social anxiety represent significant mental health challenges among adolescent populations worldwide, with emerging evidence suggesting that these phenomena may be particularly pronounced in specific cultural contexts. Understanding the relationship between body perception and social anxiety in culturally distinct populations is crucial for developing culturally sensitive interventions. This study aims to examine the relationship between body image and social anxiety among late adolescent girls of Toraja ethnicity. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The participants consisted of 122 female adolescents aged 18–22 years, selected using accidental sampling. The instruments used were the Multidimensional Body Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS) and the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (SAS-A). Data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results showed a significant negative correlation between body image and social anxiety, with a correlation coefficient of -0.617 and a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). This indicates that the more positive the body image, the lower the level of social anxiety experienced by adolescents. Body image contributed 38.06% to the variance in social anxiety. These findings suggest that perceptions of physical appearance play an important role in influencing social anxiety among late adolescent girls. The results further imply that psychological interventions should emphasize self-acceptance and the development of a positive body image to help reduce social anxiety, especially among young females from specific cultural backgrounds.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Sukabumi Selatan 07 in West Jakarta, where participation of students with special needs continues to increase. Despite this positive development, the school’s education report, particularly in terms of inclusivity climate has not shown corresponding improvement. Using a qualitative approach, the research draws on interviews, observations, and supporting secondary data, guided by Van Meter and Van Horn’s policy implementation theory. The findings reveal that the implementation of inclusive education remains suboptimal, largely due to limitations in resources and the technical capacity of implementers, both in terms of the characteristics of implementing agents and their tendencies or dispositions. Key resource challenges include the unavailability of Special Education Support Teachers, lack of targeted budget allocations, and insufficient accessible infrastructure. In addition, gaps in teacher’s understanding and technical ability to apply differentiated and adaptive teaching methods hinder effective inclusion. These issues hinder the development of a supportive school environment for maximizing the potential, interests, and talents of these students with special needs. To address these issues, the study recommends a series of strategic actions: optimizing the allocation and use of BOP and BOSP funding to support inclusive services, expand collaboration networks with higher education institutions through internship programs for pre-service teachers, and enhance the utilization of the resource room to function as a Learning and Intervention Center for students with special needs.

Abstract

Peritonitis due to perforation of hollow organs is a surgical emergency condition with high mortality and morbidity rates. The Mannheim Peritonitis Index (MPI) has been developed as a clinical prediction tool for the risk of complications, but has not been widely evaluated locally in the context of regional health care facilities. Assessing the effectiveness of the Mannheim Peritonitis Index (MPI) as a predictor of mortality and morbidity of peritonitis patients due to perforation of hollow organs at Kediri Baptist Hospital. This retrospective study analyzed 104 cases of peritonitis due to perforation of hollow organs who underwent exploratory laparotomy between January 2021 and February 2025. Data were collected from electronic medical records and analyzed using the Chi-Square test, Odds Ratio, and Mann-Whitney U Test. MPI was classified into low–medium (<27) and high (≥27) risk, and was analyzed for its relationship with age, sex, morbidity, and mortality. The majority of patients were 30–60 years old, with an average age of 40.13 years. Age >50 years and female sex were significantly associated with high MPI (p=0.010 and p=0.045). Generalisata peritonitis increased the risk of morbidity (p=0.009), and renal failure correlated with mortality (p=0.012). The MPI threshold value ≥15.50 had a sensitivity of 65.22% and a specificity of 59.26% for morbidity, as well as a sensitivity of 50% and a specificity of 53.92% for mortality. The AUC value indicates that the predictability of MPI is moderate (morbidity: 0.610; mortality: 0.554).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Real-Time CCTV System, Announcer, Safety Leadership Program 4.0, and the work environment on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture, as well as their impact on accident prevention in construction projects. The research adopts a quantitative approach using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents at construction sites and analyzed to test the validity, reliability, and relationships among variables in the structural model. The results indicate that the Safety Leadership Program 4.0 and the work environment have a significant influence on the development of an OHS culture. Meanwhile, the Real-Time CCTV System showed a near-significant influence, and the Announcer had no significant impact on OHS culture. Regarding accident prevention, the Real-Time CCTV System and Announcer demonstrated a direct and significant effect, while OHS culture, Safety Leadership Program 4.0, and the work environment did not show a significant direct influence. These findings suggest that technological approaches are more effective in providing immediate responses to potential hazards, whereas cultural development and leadership require more time and integrated strategies. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of integrating technology, safety leadership, and a supportive work environment to build a strong OHS culture and sustainably reduce the risk of workplace accidents in construction projects.

Abstract

Background: The National Health Insurance (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional/JKN) managed by BPJS Kesehatan aims to provide equal access for the entire communities accross nation. However, its implementation faces various challenges related to ethical and medicolegal aspects, including service limitations, patient rights, and medical personnel responsibilities. Objective: The study aims to analyze the ethical and legal aspects within The National Health Insurance in Indonesia. Methods: This study uses the scoping review method with the PRISMA-ScR approach. Literature searches were conducted through the PubMed and Garuda databases using the keywords National Health Insurance, BPJS Health, Medical Ethics, and Medicolegal. Included articles were those published in the last 10 years and relevant to the topic of study. Results: Our result shows that some major challenges in health care services in Indonesia include limited health facilities, ease of access for communities in remote areas, and administrative challenges in BPJS claims. From an ethical standpoint, the principle of justice is often debated due to the uneven distribution of services. From a legal perspective, there is still ambiguity in the medicolegal responsibilities of health workers within the health insurance system, especially regarding medical disputes and legal obligations in BPJS-based services. Conclusion: The implementation of BPJS Kesehatan faces ethical, legal, administrative, and service quality challenges. Thus, policy evaluation, strengthened oversight, and improved legal protection and service quality are needed to strengthen the system

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of strategic management by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jayawijaya Regency and to analyze the internal and external factors affecting their competitiveness. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that most MSME actors do not formally apply strategic management but tend to adopt informal strategies based on experience and intuition. Internal factors affecting competitiveness include low managerial capacity, limited capital, and lack of innovation. External factors include inadequate infrastructure, restricted access to digital markets, and insufficient business mentoring. Strategies to improve competitiveness involve entrepreneurship training, utilizing local potential, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and applying simple technologies. This study provides recommendations for local governments, business actors, and supporting institutions to design contextual and sustainable MSME development strategies in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) regions such as Jayawijaya.

Abstract

The geographical condition of Kalimantan Island, which has many rivers, indirectly influences the formation of the city’s character. This condition led to the formation of river culture or defined as a civilization based around rivers. This led to the presence of lanting houses as an architectural product resulting from river culture. The issue that is currently developing is maintaining the architectural products of lanting houses, which are the identity of the City of Palangka Raya and must be preserved. The problem that occurs is that residents of lanting houses have challenges, namely limited space. Limited space makes residents of lanting houses use the space in lanting houses as efficiently as possible. Lanting house residents adapt to complex and varied activities by adjusting the space in the lanting house. This research examines the form of an individual’s ability to adapt to limited space through spatial flexibility in a lanting house. This research uses a mixed method to review phenomena based on experiences with architecture. The phenomenon referred to in this research is the experience of the residents of the lanting house regarding limited space. It is hoped that this research can provide an overview of the forms of spatial flexibility that occur in limited spaces in buildings on water or lanting houses in Palangka Raya City. The research implications contribute to sustainable housing development strategies for riverine communities, inform cultural preservation policies for traditional architecture, and provide design guidelines for space-efficient dwelling solutions in water-based settlements.
