Abstract

In today's competitive business era, fast, data-driven decision-making is critical to the success of organizations. Companies in the Event Contractor sector face challenges in managing complex data, as spreadsheet-based reporting systems are prone to input errors, outdated information, and manual calculation errors, leading to decreased profits and lost business opportunities. This research aims to design and implement a Business Intelligence Dashboard visualization for project performance monitoring to support strategic decision-making. The research applied a system design and development methodology that includes analysis of user needs and integration of data from various sources, using the Vercellis framework as a development approach. The designed dashboard displays key metrics such as project costs, profit and loss, and sales performance in an easy-to-understand visual format, allowing management to conduct evaluations faster and more accurately. The results show that the implementation of the Business Intelligence Dashboard reduces decision-making time from 7-14 working days to less than 7 working days, while increasing profit margins from 28% to 36.4% through better cost control and project evaluation. Integration of multiple data sources and interactive visualization features, including drill-down and filtering functions, allows for more in-depth data analysis and assessment. This research contributes to the development of an effective Business Intelligence Dashboard visualization design to improve project performance monitoring and strategic decision-making, as well as demonstrate how interactive visualizations can improve operational efficiency and business growth.

Abstract

Long-duration  and high-volume use of earphones can lead to chronic noise exposure that has the potential to cause hearing loss, including tinnitus. Tinnitus is the perception of sound without external stimuli and can have an impact on the quality of life of the sufferer. This study aims to find out the description of the use  of earphones on the occurrence of tinnitus in students of the Medical Education Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, YARSI University Class of 2023 and its review according to an Islamic perspective. This study is a quantitative descriptive research with a cross-sectional design. The research sample amounted to 100 respondents who were included in the inclusion criteria. Data was collected through an earphone  usage pattern questionnaire as well as  a Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) questionnaire to assess the level of tinnitus complaints. Data analysis was carried out in a univariate descriptive manner using frequency and percentage distributions. The majority of respondents use earphones regularly with varying durations and frequency of use. An assessment using the THI questionnaire showed that as many as 21% of respondents experienced tinnitus complaints, with the highest severity in the mild category. The use  of earphones is a common habit among respondents and some of them experience complaints of tinnitus with mild degrees. Earphone usage patterns  that do not meet safe limits have the potential to increase the risk of tinnitus.

Abstract

The notion of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) has become increasingly significant in global corporate strategies, particularly in addressing sustainability and climate change issues. This study analyzes the impact of differences between ESG scores and ESG controversies on Firm Value in publicly traded firms across Southeast Asia between 2018 and 2022, and family ownership serving as a moderating variable. This study provided a different perspective from previous research, which measured the difference between ESG Scores and ESG Controversies using ESG True Value and ESG Combined. The analysis used two regression models: Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and Random Effects Model (REM). The results of this research showed that true value data tested using OLS and ESG Combined data using the REM model, the difference between ESG Score and ESG Controversies was proven to adversely impact corporate value. The adverse effect was determined to be stronger in family enterprises. This significant negative effect on family firms was influenced by factors including firm orientation, internal information dissemination in family firms, and their ESG disclosures.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of digital literacy, digital behavior, and perceived usefulness on green finance awareness, with green behavioral intention acting as a mediating variable within Indonesia’s multifinance sector. As sustainable finance initiatives expand under regulatory encouragement, awareness among financial employees remains uneven, particularly in emerging markets where digital readiness varies. Drawing upon the Technology Acceptance Model and the Theory of Planned Behavior, this research adopts a quantitative explanatory approach using survey data collected from 270 employees of multifinance institutions in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate direct and indirect relationships among constructs. The findings reveal that digital literacy, digital behavior, and perceived usefulness significantly influence green behavioral intention, which in turn exerts a strong positive effect on green finance awareness. Although the direct effects of digital factors on awareness remain significant, their impacts are partially mediated by green behavioral intention. These results highlight the importance of strengthening digital competencies and fostering pro-environmental behavioral intentions to enhance sustainable finance awareness. The study contributes to the integration of digital transformation and sustainability frameworks while offering practical implications for regulators and multifinance institutions seeking to accelerate green finance adoption in Indonesia

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of ecological remediation through bioaugmentation techniques to remediate crude oil-contaminated soil and its social and economic implications in Siak Regency, Riau Province. Oil contamination caused by leakage due to illegal tapping of oil pipelines has become a serious environmental issue requiring effective and sustainable remediation methods. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of bioaugmentation in reducing long-chain petroleum hydrocarbons (C10–C36) to meet environmental quality standards while also assessing the social and economic impacts of its implementation. A mixed-methods approach was applied, combining quantitative analysis of laboratory test results and environmental monitoring with qualitative surveys and interviews involving communities, government agencies, and companies. The results show that bioaugmentation using indigenous bacteria significantly reduced petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations from 8.4%–9.4% to below the environmental quality standard (≤0.1%) within 5–6 weeks. The most efficient dosage was found to be 1 liter/m³ of contaminated soil, as it achieved degradation rates comparable to those of 2 liters/m³ but with lower operational costs. Environmental conditions during remediation remained optimal for microbial activity, with a pH of 6.0–6.9, a temperature of 26–36 °C, and humidity of around 70%. Socially and economically, the implementation received positive responses, although community satisfaction was slightly lower than that of government agencies and companies. Overall, bioaugmentation was proven to be an effective, economical, and environmentally friendly remediation technology for the sustainable recovery of crude oil-contaminated soil.

Abstract

Regional data integration is a crucial element in the digital transformation of bureaucracy, but its implementation is often faced with structural tensions between technical regulatory demands and strong sectoral egos. In South Sumatra Province, the One Data Information System (SIMATA) was initiated as a form of public innovation to break the information fragmentation impasse between Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs). This study aims to examine the implementation of SIMATA policies using the analytical framework of Public Innovation Governance. Through a qualitative method with a policy analysis approach, this study dissects strategic documents, regulatory instruments managed by the South Sumatra Provincial Diskominfo, and data governance practices at the regional level. The results of the analysis show that the effectiveness of SIMATA implementation is not solely determined by technological determination, but is highly dependent on the capacity of actor orchestration and administrative regularization. It was found that there is a contradiction between the formal data integration mandate and the institutional readiness of OPDs in the field. In this context, the Public Innovation Governance model serves as a bridging instrument capable of shifting passive bureaucratic compliance patterns into proactive network collaboration. This study concludes that the sustainability of SIMATA requires governance adaptation that goes beyond traditional hierarchical approaches, leading to a more adaptive innovation ecosystem. This study makes a theoretical contribution to the digital governance policy literature and offers practical recommendations for strengthening the One Data governance architecture at the local government level.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the application of metaheuristic algorithms in hyperparameter tuning for deep learning-based image classification models. Selecting an appropriate hyperparameter configuration is a crucial factor that determines model performance, however, the hyperparameter selection process is often time consuming and inefficient when performed manually or through conventional approaches such as Grid Search and Random Search. Therefore, metaheuristic algorithms have emerged as a promising alternative, as they are capable of adaptively exploring and exploiting the search space in complex optimization problems. This research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA protocol, supported by the Zotero reference management tool. The PRISMA protocol ensures a transparent and structured process for identification, selection, and data extraction. A total of 41 scientific articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed based on publication year, application domain, classification models used, metaheuristic algorithms applied, datasets employed, and the performance evaluation results. The findings show that the application of metaheuristic algorithms significantly improves the performance of image classification tasks. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and their variants are the most widely used architectures, while common datasets such as MNIST and CIFAR-10 are frequently employed in experiments. This study provides an overview of current research trends, demonstrates the effectiveness of metaheuristic based hyperparameter optimization, and highlights opportunities for developing more efficient optimization strategies. The results are expected to serve as a valuable reference for future research in image classification using metaheuristic optimization within deep learning frameworks.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Natural Environment Teaching (NET) in improving early numeracy skills among children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in inclusive elementary school settings. Early numeracy is a fundamental academic prerequisite that is often impaired in children with ASD due to core deficits in communication, cognitive flexibility, and generalization. This study employed a quantitative approach using a Single Subject Research (SSR) design with a multiple baseline across participants. Three children with ASD (DSM-5 Level 1–2), aged 6–8 years and enrolled in inclusive elementary schools, participated in the study. The intervention was conducted over 12 sessions (approximately 30–45 minutes each), integrating numeracy learning into natural classroom activities. Data were collected through direct observation and frequency recording and analyzed using visual analysis and the Percentage of Non-Overlapping Data (PND) method. Interobserver agreement (IOA) averaged 92.3%, while implementation fidelity averaged 91.7%. The results revealed consistent improvement across all participants, from baseline phases (mean 21.7%–31.7%) to intervention phases (57.5%–63.8%), with PND scores ranging from 90%–100%, indicating a highly effective intervention. Skill maintenance was observed at 72.5%–82.5%, demonstrating strong learning retention. These findings confirm that NET is an effective and ecologically valid naturalistic instructional approach for improving numeracy skills in children with ASD in inclusive educational settings.
