Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged government institutions to implement digital transformation in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public services. In the context of regional regulation enforcement, the Civil Service Police Unit (Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja / Satpol PP) plays a strategic role in maintaining public order and ensuring legal compliance within regional governance. However, the utilization of information technology within Satpol PP institutions is still influenced by several factors, including digital transformation, employee knowledge, and organizational readiness. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital transformation, knowledge, and organizational readiness on the utilization of information technology in supporting the enforcement of regional regulations within the East Java Provincial Satpol PP. The research employed a quantitative approach using survey methods. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 66 Satpol PP employees selected using random sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results show that digital transformation and organizational readiness have a significant positive influence on the utilization of information technology. Meanwhile, knowledge does not significantly affect the adoption of information technology. Organizational readiness was found to be the most dominant factor influencing technology utilization within the institution. This study concludes that strengthening digital transformation strategies and improving organizational readiness are essential for optimizing the use of information technology in supporting effective and responsive enforcement of regional regulations.

Abstract

In the knowledge-based economy, organizations increasingly rely on effective knowledge management to enhance innovation and maintain competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge management on innovative work behavior among employees in technology companies. The research adopts a mixed approach by utilizing quantitative data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees and supported by qualitative insights from interviews and observations. The respondents consisted of 30 participants, including managerial staff and employees involved in knowledge-sharing and innovation-related activities. The findings indicate that knowledge management practices, particularly knowledge sharing, knowledge accessibility, organizational learning, and knowledge documentation, have a positive influence on employees’ innovative work behavior. Employees who actively participate in knowledge exchange activities demonstrate a higher tendency to generate, promote, and implement innovative ideas within their work environment. The results also highlight that leadership support and organizational culture play a significant role in strengthening the effectiveness of knowledge management practices. Organizations that foster collaborative learning environments and provide access to knowledge resources are more likely to encourage innovation among employees. These findings suggest that effective knowledge management systems can enhance both individual creativity and organizational innovation capacity. Therefore, technology companies are encouraged to develop structured knowledge management strategies and promote a knowledge-sharing culture to support sustainable innovation and improve organizational competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Corporate financial performance evaluation is essential for guiding strategic decision-making by managers, investors, and stakeholders, yet raw financial data alone provides limited insight without a structured interpretive framework. This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of PT Dunia Virtual Online Tbk by applying four profitability ratios Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) simultaneously within a unified analytical framework. A descriptive quantitative research design was employed, with data sourced from the company's audited financial statements for the period ending 31 March 2025. Each ratio was calculated using standardized formulas derived from the income statement and balance sheet, encompassing net sales of IDR 14,567,561,590, cost of goods sold of IDR 6,917,131,209, net income of IDR 2,028,267,985, total assets of IDR 301,240,237,537, and total equity of IDR 234,410,798,865. The results show that GPM reached 52.52%, reflecting strong production cost efficiency; NPM was recorded at 13.92%, indicating effective overall cost management; while ROA and ROE were notably low at 0.67% and 0.87% respectively, suggesting that the company's substantial asset and equity base has not yet been fully optimized to generate proportional returns. These findings reveal a dual performance profile: high operational efficiency at the production and cost management level, contrasted with low capital utilization efficiency—consistent with characteristics of a company in an active investment and asset accumulation phase. This study concludes that an integrated multi-ratio approach yields a more comprehensive and diagnostically precise assessment of corporate financial health than single-indicator analysis, offering actionable insights for both internal management and external investors.

Abstract

Work flexibility has become an increasingly important element of modern human resource management, particularly in response to rapid technological change and shifting workforce expectations. Flexible work arrangements, including schedule, location, and task flexibility, are believed to influence important employee outcomes such as well-being and organizational commitment. However, empirical evidence regarding these relationships in emerging economies such as Indonesia remains limited. This study aims to examine the effect of work flexibility on employee well-being and organizational commitment, as well as to explore the mediating role of employee well-being in the relationship between work flexibility and organizational commitment. A quantitative approach with a descriptive–verification design was employed. Data were collected from 378 private sector employees in Bandung, Indonesia, using a structured questionnaire distributed both online and offline. The measurement instruments included the Work Flexibility Scale, the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS), and the Three-Component Model of Organizational Commitment. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24.0. The results indicate that work flexibility has a significant positive effect on employee well-being (? = 0.541, p < 0.001) and organizational commitment (? = 0.312, p < 0.001). Employee well-being also significantly influences organizational commitment (? = 0.489, p < 0.001) and partially mediates the relationship between work flexibility and organizational commitment. These findings highlight the strategic importance of implementing flexible work arrangements to enhance employee well-being and strengthen organizational commitment in Indonesian organizations.

Abstract

Indonesia's national artificial intelligence (AI) education roadmap (2025–2045) positions teacher AI competency as foundational to its Golden Generation vision, yet the long-term effectiveness of AI upskilling programs for Indonesian educators remains empirically unexamined. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which AI-related competencies are retained over time, identify key factors influencing sustained AI integration among teachers, and compare the effectiveness of different upskilling programs across regional contexts. This longitudinal mixed-methods study measured the durability of AI competency gains among 347 in-service K–12 teachers across urban, peri-urban, and remote regional strata over four measurement waves: pre-intervention, immediate post-intervention, six-month follow-up, and twelve-month follow-up. Participants were drawn from two nationally deployed AI upskilling programs  Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) and Microsoft Elevate   and assessed using a validated four-subscale questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, and structured classroom observation checklists. Results revealed a consistent "spike-and-decay" trajectory across all groups, with teachers retaining an average of only 63.5% of post-intervention competency gains at the twelve-month wave. Microsoft Elevate participants demonstrated significantly superior retention compared to PMM participants, and remote-stratum teachers experienced the steepest decay. Post-intervention AI self-efficacy, peer collaboration frequency, and perceived program relevance emerged as the strongest predictors of sustained behavioral integration. Qualitative findings identified infrastructure deficits, institutional isolation, curricular misalignment, and confidence erosion as primary disinvestment mechanisms. The study concludes that sustainable AI teacher competency requires a systems-level response encompassing mandatory post-training support, differentiated regional resourcing, and curriculum-embedded AI learning communities.

Abstract

The transformation of the digital economy has become one of the main drivers of economic growth in various developing countries, including Indonesia, where Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the national economic structure. However, many MSMEs still face limited access to formal financial services and digital technology that can support the business transformation process. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital financial inclusion strategies on the transformation of the MSME digital economy in Indonesia and identify the role of digital financial literacy, regulatory quality, and digital infrastructure in strengthening these relationships. This study uses a mixed-method approach by combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data was obtained through a survey of 398 MSMEs in five provinces in Indonesia, while qualitative data was obtained through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) with MSME actors and fintech stakeholders. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and thematic analysis to strengthen the interpretation of the research results. The results of the study show that the digital financial inclusion strategy has a positive and significant influence on the transformation of the digital economy of MSMEs, especially through the adoption of digital payments and fintech-based credit access. In addition, digital financial literacy has been proven to play a role as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship, while the quality of regulation and digital infrastructure serves as a moderation factor that magnifies the impact of digital financial inclusion on the transformation of MSMEs. The implications of this study show that integrated policies between increasing access to digital financial services, strengthening digital financial literacy, and developing supporting infrastructure and regulations are essential to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs. This research makes an original contribution by offering an integrated analytical framework that connects digital financial inclusion, digital financial literacy, and institutional factors as the main drivers of the transformation of the MSME digital economy in developing countries.

Abstract

Digital transformation has pushed Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to reorient their business models toward digital platforms to address technological disruption and increasingly complex market dynamics. However, this change requires not only technology adoption but also strengthened organizational capabilities and adaptive strategies. This study aims to analyze how SOEs build and integrate dynamic capabilities ( sensing, seizing, transforming ) and implementing ambidextrous strategy in an effort to reorient business models towards a digital ecosystem. The study used a qualitative case study approach with five strategic state-owned enterprises as the objects, involving in-depth interviews, internal document studies, and observations of digital strategy implementation. The results show that sensing and seizing capabilities are fundamental in responding to digital opportunities, but the transformation phase faces significant challenges related to bureaucratic structures and organizational culture. Furthermore, an ambidextrous strategy proved crucial in maintaining a balance between exploring digital innovation and exploiting core competencies. State-owned enterprises that are able to implement this strategy in a structured manner demonstrated higher success in building an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable platform ecosystem. This study provides a conceptual contribution to the public sector digital transformation literature and offers practical guidance for stakeholders in managing the business transition towards a digital ecosystem-based model.
