Abstract

The digital era has introduced new forms of child violence, which necessitate an evaluation of Indonesia's Child Protection Law (UU Perlindungan Anak). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Child Protection Law in preventing and addressing child violence in the digital age, with a focus on the roles of government, law enforcement, society, families, and digital platform providers. A key contribution of this research is its holistic approach to the entire spectrum of child violence, thereby bridging the often-separated aspects of conventional law and the dynamics of cybercrime. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, focus group discussions, surveys, and document analysis, and subsequently analyzed within the framework of Legal Effectiveness Theory. Findings reveal significant challenges in implementing the Child Protection Law, including slow regulatory adaptation, inadequate law enforcement capacity, low digital literacy, and insufficient proactive commitment from digital platform providers. Case handling, from reporting to victim recovery, faces substantial obstacles, such as jurisdictional complexities and the provision of holistic support. This research has significant social implications for enhancing public awareness and promoting active community participation, while also informing policy reforms and institutional capacity building to foster a safer digital ecosystem for Indonesian children. Recommendations call for responsive legal reforms, strengthened capacities among actors, integrated cross-sector collaboration, and widespread digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of youth participation in the 2024 Regent Election in Hutaraja Tinggi District, Padang Lawas Regency, and to identify the factors influencing their involvement in local political processes. The research employed a qualitative approach, utilizing field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation gathered from young voters, community leaders, and local election organizers. Findings indicate that while youth participation is relatively high, it is uneven across villages. Greater involvement was observed in areas with better access to political information and education, as opposed to regions with limited political socialization. Interviews revealed that politically literate youth were motivated to participate by their desire for social change and regional development. In contrast, some first-time voters remained apathetic or were primarily influenced by family preferences. Social media played a significant role in enhancing political awareness among youth by disseminating information and digital campaign materials; however, it also posed risks of misinformation. Moreover, community leaders and local role models substantially influenced political behavior, particularly in rural areas. The study identified both encouraging and inhibiting factors: political awareness, social media influence, and community support fostered participation, whereas limited political education, apathy, and distrust toward the political system impeded it. The study concludes that increased access to education, information, and social support correlates with greater youth participation, underscoring the need for collaborative efforts among local governments, the election commission, educational institutions, and youth organizations to strengthen continuous political education and build trust in local democratic systems.

Abstract

The growth of the tourism industry in Central Java, bolstered by product development and hospitality infrastructure, is highly dependent on the quality of its human resources. This research aims to investigate the impact of quality education in the hospitality industry on the sustainability of tourism in Central Java. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive integration of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) for hospitality with the pillars of sustainable tourism (economic, social, environmental) within an analytical framework that focuses on the regional characteristics of Central Java. The findings indicate that CBC significantly enhances graduate employability through the mastery of technical skills, while also equipping them with the mindset and capacity to implement eco-friendly practices (green hospitality), preserve local culture, and manage economic impacts sustainably. Furthermore, factors such as the application of corporate image practices, social media development, and government program support also contribute to industry growth. This study concludes that strategic investment in adaptive and high-quality vocational hospitality education, supported by multi-sectoral partnerships, is an essential catalyst. This is crucial not only for improving graduate readiness for work and competitiveness but also for supporting responsible, inclusive, and long-term tourism growth in Central Java, aligning with the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal Target 4.4 (SDG 4.4) and promoting social justice.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the functions and roles of Masjid As-Sakinah in strengthening the social and religious life of the surrounding community. As a religious institution, the mosque holds a strategic position not only as a place of worship but also as a center of education, guidance, and community empowerment. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the mosque administrators and active congregants. The findings reveal that Masjid As-Sakinah plays an effective role in spiritual development through regular activities such as Sunday Qur’an studies and the Qur’anic Education Center (TPA), which enhance religious understanding and practice among the community. In the social sphere, the mosque supports community welfare through initiatives such as the sacrificial savings program and a digital donation system using QRIS, promoting transparency and engagement. The innovative “English Massive” program illustrates the integration of education and da’wah to nurture a religious and competitive generation. Key supporting factors include visionary leadership and strong community participation, while major obstacles involve limited financial resources and the lack of youth regeneration among administrators. Overall, Masjid As-Sakinah significantly contributes to strengthening Islamic brotherhood and fostering a socially empowered and spiritually grounded community.

Abstract

The emergence of Society 5.0 represents a paradigm shift that integrates technology deeply into daily life while posing challenges such as social character degradation and digital individualism. This study qualitatively examines the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in fostering humanistic character and spirituality among learners in response to these changes. Through systematic literature review with descriptive-analytical design, findings reveal that digital-humanistic pedagogy, which positively integrates technology with ethical values, effectively internalizes social values in PAI. The implementation of blended learning and the "Kurikulum Merdeka" curriculum facilitates the transformation of abstract values into concrete social actions via project-based learning. Moreover, this research reconceptualizes PAI educators as mediators of digital ethics ("uswah hasanah digital"), transcending their traditional role as knowledge transmitters. In conclusion, adaptive and contextualized PAI serves as a crucial moral foundation in shaping devout individuals who are also responsible digital citizens. This underscores the importance of synergy between technology and value-based education to preserve humanity amid modernization pressures.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the policy formulation processes undertaken by school principals, evaluate the quality of education, and explore the implications of educator quality through a SWOT analysis framework. Employing a qualitative descriptive research design, data were collected via observations, structured interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis involved systematic data reduction and presentation techniques. Findings reveal that the quality education policy process is characterized by the development of comprehensive program planning in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders within the school context, followed by effective program implementation. The assessment of educational quality is guided by adherence to the eight National Education Standards established by government regulations. The principal's strategies for enhancing educational quality include the formulation of targeted activity programs. The implications of the implemented strategies indicate that educators are equipped to deliver content effectively, utilizing technological and computational tools. Additionally, educators demonstrate proficiency in Quranic recitation and employ innovative and engaging pedagogical methods. This study is anticipated to yield significant contributions to educational practice. The benefits of this research are twofold: theoretically, it enriches the existing literature, and practically, it serves the interests of schools, principals, teachers, students, and all stakeholders involved in the educational ecosystem. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses kebijakan kepala sekolah, mengetahui mutu pendidikan, mengetahuiImplikasi mutu pendidik berbasis analisis SWOT.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis reduksi data, penyajian data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses kebijakan mutu pendidikan dengan membuat suatu perencanaan /perumusan program kemudian berkerjasama dengan seluruh stkeholder yang ada di sekolah tersebut menjalankan (implementasi program). Mutu pendidikan-nya adalah dengan menggunakan 8 Standar Nasional Pendidikan yang sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah, kebijakannya kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah dengan membuat program kegiatan.Implikasi dari strategi yang telah diupayakan oleh sekolah ialah pendidik dapat mengajar sesaui dengan materi dan mengaplikasikan dengan alat teknologi dan komputer, pendidik dapat membaca Al-Quran dengan tartil serta dapat menngunakan metode pembelajaran yang kreatif dan aktif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberi manfaat yang berarti. Manfaat dapat dilihat dari sifat dan sasarannya. Dari segi sifat, manfaat penelitian dapat berupa manfaat teoritis dan manfaat praktis. Dari sisi sasaran, manfaat dapat ditujukan kepada Sekolah, Kepala Sekolah, guru , murid dan semua lapisan ozon yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to analyze and find a model of digital literacy development in Islamic boarding schools. The research uses a qualitative paradigm with descriptive survey techniques. Data were obtained from interview results, documentation, and observation. The data were then processed with reduction techniques and analyzed using data triangulation. The study's findings indicate that the digital literacy development carried out by Dayah Perbatasan Darul Amin focuses on the understanding of students and teachers, both implicitly and explicitly. Attention is also directed towards the formation of an information ecosystem in the boarding school related to software (ethics and morals) and hardware (improvement of facilities and infrastructure). The development of literacy is also carried out through the establishment of the boarding school's organizational culture and the expansion of cooperation. Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan sebuah model pengembangan literasi digital di pesantren. Penelitian menggunakan paradigma kualitatif dengan teknik survei deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dokumentasi dan observasi. Data kemudian diolah dengan teknik reduksi dan dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pengembangan literasi digital yang dilaksanakan oleh Dayah Perbatasan Darul Amin terfokus kepada pemahaman literasi santri dan guru baik secara implisit maupun eksplisit. Perhatian juga mengarah kepada pembentukan ekosistem informasi di dayah berkaitan dengan software (etika dan moral) dan hardware (peningkatan sarana prasarana). Pengembangan literasi juga dilaksanakan melalui pembentukan budaya organisasi pesantren dan perluasan kerjasama.

Abstract

Abstract: In the context of Islamic law, waqf is defined as a legal act involving the dedication of property by an individual to a person or institution, whereby the property is to be used for charitable purposes, with the core asset being permanent in nature. This concept offers greater flexibility compared to zakat, allowing waqf to evolve in response to contemporary needs while adhering to sharia principles. It is essential that the development of waqf remains within the bounds of sharia to uphold the values of ubudiyah (servitude to God) and iqtishadiyah (economic welfare). Indonesia possesses significant potential for waqf land; however, a considerable portion remains unproductive due to challenges related to funding and management. In response, the Indonesian government introduced sukuk-based waqf innovations in early 2017 to optimize the utilization of waqf land. Nevertheless, the legal framework surrounding sukuk remains a subject of scholarly debate and is characterized by differing opinions within Islamic jurisprudence. To effectively implement sukuk-based waqf, it is crucial to establish clear regulatory frameworks this financial innovation. Additionally, attention must be given to the proper administration of waqf assets, including land and building certificates, as well as waqf certificates. Ensuring compliance with sharia legality is paramount, as it allows the fundamental objectives of waqf to serve the community and enhance social welfare to be achieved without compromising the integrity or value of the waqf assets.

Abstract

This scientific analysis critically examines the polemic surrounding the rejection of Rohingya refugees in Aceh, Indonesia. Drawing from the fields of human rights and public policy, the study explores the reasons behind the rejection, including concerns about the behaviour and attitudes of Rohingya people in refugee camps. The analysis provides a comprehensive examination of the issue, considering the ethical implications and socioeconomic considerations from a scientific standpoint. This study aims to Aceh's policy on refugees and asylum seekers, focusing on the legal framework and the country's approach as a transit nation. The analysis includes an exploration of Indonesia's handling of refugees, provisions for interception and rescue, and the absence of long-term resettlement options. The article also discusses the implications of Indonesia's stance on the Rohingya crisis and the sustainability of Aceh's hospitality towards refugees. The article raises questions about the future prospects for greater hospitality and the granting of rights to refugees in Indonesia and neighbouring countries. The research results also show Approaching the rejection of Rohingya refugees in Aceh through a scientific lens allows policymakers to navigate this issue effectively. By integrating human rights principles, ethical considerations, and socioeconomic factors, policies can be formulated to protect refugees' rights while promoting the well-being of the host community

Abstract

Transformasi digital secara fundamental mengubah lanskap pendidikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di lingkungan pesantren dan lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi pembelajaran PAI berimplikasi terhadap karakter religius-sosial santri. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi terhadap buku teks, jurnal ilmiah bereputasi, dan dokumen kebijakan terkait pendidikan Islam di era digital. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi dan interpretasi tematik untuk mensintesis berbagai pemikiran mengenai transformasi pedagogi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi digital, seperti media audiovisual dan aplikasi Islami, berhasil memperluas akses pengetahuan keagamaan serta mendorong pola pembelajaran yang lebih kolaboratif dan mandiri. Namun, transformasi ini juga menghadirkan tantangan berupa potensi degradasi moral dan masuknya nilai-nilai yang tidak sejalan dengan ajaran Islam, sehingga menuntut penguatan literasi digital berbasis etika Islam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa karakter religius-sosial santri terbentuk secara lebih kontekstual ketika pembelajaran digital disintesiskan dengan pembiasaan nilai dan penguatan budaya pesantren yang moderat. Implikasi penelitian ini terletak pada perumusan kerangka integratif antara pedagogi digital dan internalisasi nilai religius sebagai model penguatan karakter santri di era disrupsi teknologi. Melalui analisis ini, diharapkan tercipta sinergi yang mampu melahirkan generasi dengan keseimbangan antara kecakapan teknologi dan kedalaman spiritualitas.
