Abstract

Thrips pests are plant pest organisms (OPT) that disturb chili plants in Sukowiryo Village, Jelbuk District which can cause damage to plants, especially on the leaves. Overcoming this problem, PPK ORMAWA HIMASETA held a training on making vegetable pesticides on 22 July 2024 at the AKSATANI secretariat which was attended by 20 young farmers. The training activity aims to improve the ability of young farmers to make and use vegetable pesticides, as well as their impact on plants. The method used the counselling method regarding vegetable pesticides as an alternative effort for control of thrips pests, training in the production of vegetable pesticides, and application on chilli fields. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure knowledge and skills of young farmers. Results of the training showed that the training successful improved the knowledge and skills of young farmers in the production and use of plant-based pesticides.

Abstract

Taman Gading Asri Agrotourism is a horticultural agricultural object packaged with a tourism concept located in Jember Regency, but currently it has not been developed optimally. Study carried out aimed at managers of horticultural plant cultivation at Taman Gading Asri Agrotourism. Research design used is qualitative with case study research techniques. Analysis plan The data used is qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. From the results of the research that has been carried out it is known that Taman Gading Asri agrotourism activities start from education regarding the production process of horticultural crops by applying welfare rules for tourist attractions to culinary tourism. The strategy that has been implemented by Taman Gading Asri Agrotourism in Agrotourism development is making plans to improve facilities on location, improving customer service, and carrying out promotion of agrotourism through social media. The most appropriate strategy and The priority in developing Taman Gading Asri agrotourism is an aggressive strategy with increasing the various agrotourism attractions of Taman Gading Asri and expanding marketing.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti “Pengaruh Periklanan dan Promosi Penjualan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada Hypermart Palembang Square Extention Palembang". Pengukuran sampel diambil sebanyak 400 responden dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling, purposive sampling dengan kriteria pernah melakukan pembelian di Hypermart PSx Palembang. Pengambilan data yang dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hipotesis dengan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa periklanan dan promosi penjualan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Hypermart PSx Palembang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan dan saran bagi Hypermart Palembang Square Extention di Kota Palembang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Hypermart Palembang Square Extention perlu fokus pada peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas periklanan dan promosi penjualan untuk mempertahankan efektivitas pengaruh terhadap Keputusan Pembelian oleh calon konsumen, dimana promosi penjualan sebagai variabel yang paling mempengaruhi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian sebaiknya menambah media sebagai perantara penghubung dalam menjangkau calon konsumen dan harapannya semakin meningkatkan keputusan pembelian Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine “The Effect of Advertising and Sales Promotion on Purchasing Decisions at Hypermart Palembang Square Extention Palembang”. Sample measurements were taken as many as 400 respondents using non-probability sampling method, purposive sampling with the criteria of having made a purchase at Hypermart PSx Palembang. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis with data processing using SPSS version 26. Based on the results of the study, it shows that advertising and sales promotion have a significant and positive effect partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions at Hypermart PSx Palembang. The results of this study indicate that Hypermart Palembang Square Extension needs to focus on improving the quality and quantity of advertising and sales promotion to maintain the effectiveness of the influence on Purchasing Decisions by potential consumers, where sales promotion as the most influential variable on Purchasing Decisions should add media as a connecting intermediary in reaching potential consumers and hopefully further increase purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Early childhood is a crucial stage for children's growth and development. Through play, various aspects cognitive, social-emotional, physical-motor, language, moral, and spiritual develop significantly. Appropriate stimulation and attention can positively influence these developments. This study aims to explore the implementation of play-based methods to improve children's learning concentration at TKIP Ummul Mukminin, Katapang District, Bandung Regency. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and direct field observations. The research focuses on how the play method is applied, along with its strengths and limitations in enhancing concentration. The findings reveal that children's concentration levels vary according to individual characteristics. However, after implementing the play method, most children showed improved concentration during learning activities. The establishment of classroom agreements and rules also contributed to a more conducive learning environment. Strengths observed include increased curiosity and enthusiasm, leading to optimal learning outcomes. On the other hand, challenges remain, such as classroom layout issues (minimal partitions causing distractions) and inconsistent parental discipline at home, which hinders the reinforcement of structured behavior in school

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh cash flow, leverage, dan net working capital terhadap cash holding pada perusahaan sub sektor barang industri yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2021. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ada, didapatkan 21 perusahaan sub sektor barang industri yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia periode 2017-2012 yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan yang dipublikasikan di situs Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linear berganda dalam pengujian variabelnya. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa cash flow berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap cash holding, sedangkan leverage dan net working capital tidak berpengaruh terhadap cash holding.

Abstract

AbstractLearning is one of the obstacles experienced or experienced by a student in thelearning process to be able to achieve good learning outcomes. As for the causesexperienced by students who become believers into 2, namely internal factors(intellectual, etc.) and external (social environment, etc.). This study aims to beable to identify the factors of student learning difficulties during the covid-19pandemic in economics class XI SMAN 11 PONTIANAK. The informants in thisstudy were to find 20 students of class XI as many as 20 people. This type ofresearch is a qualitative description that identifies the factors of studentdifficulties during the covid-19 pandemic. Data collection techniques used in thisstudy added 3 namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results ofthe research and discussion showed that the factors of learning difficulties forstudents during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI economic subjects wereinternal factors such as lack of interest in learning and understanding of studentsduring learning. Abstract

Agriculture plays a crucial role in the economy and social life in Indonesia, especially in rural areas where the majority of the population relies on this sector for livelihood and food security. However, challenges such as climate change and plant diseases, particularly Fusarium wilt in chili peppers, threaten the sustainability of the agricultural sector. This study represents the implementation of the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK ORMAWA) by the Student Association of Agricultural Social Economics (HIMASETA) to establish a Youth Farming Center in Sukowiryo Village, Jelbuk District, Jember Regency, as an innovative solution to local issues. This community service aims to enhance agricultural productivity in Sukowiryo Village through the use of Trichoderma as a biofungicide. The primary focus of the activity is training on the use of Trichoderma as a biological agent to combat Fusarium wilt, and educating young farmers on its benefits and application techniques. The program includes outreach, training in the production of Trichoderma using corn as a medium, and knowledge evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. Results show a significant increase in participants' knowledge about Trichoderma, from 21% in the pre-test to 90% in the post-test, with a deep understanding of its benefits and application techniques. Regular use of Trichoderma effectively reduced Fusarium wilt incidence by 50% and increased average chili pepper yields by 15%. The program is expected to promote environmentally friendly agricultural practices and support food security in rural areas.

Abstract

The digital era has introduced new forms of child violence, which necessitate an evaluation of Indonesia's Child Protection Law (UU Perlindungan Anak). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Child Protection Law in preventing and addressing child violence in the digital age, with a focus on the roles of government, law enforcement, society, families, and digital platform providers. A key contribution of this research is its holistic approach to the entire spectrum of child violence, thereby bridging the often-separated aspects of conventional law and the dynamics of cybercrime. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, focus group discussions, surveys, and document analysis, and subsequently analyzed within the framework of Legal Effectiveness Theory. Findings reveal significant challenges in implementing the Child Protection Law, including slow regulatory adaptation, inadequate law enforcement capacity, low digital literacy, and insufficient proactive commitment from digital platform providers. Case handling, from reporting to victim recovery, faces substantial obstacles, such as jurisdictional complexities and the provision of holistic support. This research has significant social implications for enhancing public awareness and promoting active community participation, while also informing policy reforms and institutional capacity building to foster a safer digital ecosystem for Indonesian children. Recommendations call for responsive legal reforms, strengthened capacities among actors, integrated cross-sector collaboration, and widespread digital literacy.
