Abstract

This research aims to analyze raw material inventory at UD. Mie Steven. This research was conducted for four months from January to April 2017. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through interviews with the company, while secondary data obtained from data that has been compiled in the form of documents from the company, data from BPS, previous research or from the internet. The data is processed using EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. The result of the research is known that the policy of raw material inventory control is done by UD. Mie Steven is not efficient yet. This is shown by the company's inventory cost is bigger than the result of analysis using EOQ method is 6,693 Kg with total cost of economical inventory Rp.11.325.500.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of management function in Asi Endo Farmer Group in Tewasen Village, Amurang Barat Subdistrict, South Minahasa Regency. The study was conducted from April to June 2017. The data used were primary data obtained from direct interviews with the management and members of farmer groups based on prepared questions list and direct observation or survey in the research site. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis, presented in tabular form, then the resultant data is analyzed by using likert scale. The results showed that the implementation of Asi Endo farmer group management function in Tewasen Village, Amurang Barat subdistrict of South Minahasa Regency covering the function of planning, organizing function, movement function, supervisory function and assessment function, as a whole is in the Very Good category with 82.8% . This means that group members together with group administrators are very good at implementing management functions within the Asi Endo farmer group.*jrm*

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to know the Knowledge Management of “Karya Bersama” farmers group at Tombasian Atas Village, Kawangkoan West, Minahasa District. This research was conducted from April to July 2016. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The variables measured were knowledge identification, knowledge creation, knowledge presentation and knowledge distribution. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis by using content analysis. The results showed that the identification of group knowledge through cultivation, mass media, experience, TV media, newspapers and books, the presence of extension workers and among group members. Knowledge creation occurs through regular meetings among farmer groups. Knowledge presentation is carried out by exploiting technology utilization, demonstrating farming tools and distributing the knowledge gained.*lrr*

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of growth and production of red spinach plants on Bayfolan fertilizer, and to obtain the appropriate dose of Bayfolan fertilizer for the growth and production of red spinach plants. The study was conducted from May to July 2017, in the beautiful Canaan Village VI, RT 02 Wanea District, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. This research uses RAL Complete RAL Design with six treatment levels that is: R0 = 0 without treatment of Bayfolan fertilizer as control, R1 = 1 cc of Bayfolan / l water fertilizer, R2 = 2 cc of Bayfolan / l water fertilizer, R3 = 3 cc of Bayfolan / l water R4 = 4 cc of Bayfolan / l water fertilizer, R5-5 cc of Bayfolan / l water fertilizer, repeated four times. The dose of Bayfolan fertilizer does not affect the plant height, the number of leaves, the weight of the fresh vegetable tree. Fresh weight of leaves, root weight, and Root length. The results showed that the best Bayfolan fertilizer dose was 4 cc of Bayfolan / l water fertilizer.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know the effectiveness of plant insecticides plant extracts Tiger Grass, Nutmeg Seeds and Bitung Fruits against cabbage caterpillar Plutella xylostella L. on cabbage plants? (2) Analyzed the mortality of the cabbage of Plutella xylostella L. cabbage on cabbage plants in Minahasa Regency on the administration of plant insecticide plant extracts of Nutmeg, Tiger Grass and Bitung Fruit. This research was conducted from July to November 2017 using a Completely Randomized Design (RAL), consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replicates. Field sampling of cabbage plants was conducted on 12 sub-plots. Every 7 days the number of P. xylostella larvae is observed. Observations were performed before spraying, and 1 day after spraying, as well as on week II to week V observations, for the collection of P. xylostella pupa done on 1 day after spraying, the number of pupa collected per sub-plot was 5 pupa so that 15 pupa collected, the total number of pupa 60 pupa. Then the pupa collected was placed in the prepared container and then observed the development. The results showed that: (1) The test result from Seed Nut extract, Tiger Grass extract and Bitung Fruit at concentration of 15% to mortality of Plutella xylostella larvae showed the significant difference of each treatment with the highest mortality rate of Plutella xylostella larvae 87,07% on Fruit extract treatment Bitung, Tiger Grass extract 78.09 percent, on Seed Nut extract 74.44 percent and 22.55 percent on control. (2) The test result from Seed Extract of Nutmeg, Bitung and Tiger Grass on the mortality of Plutella xylostella larvae showed significant difference of each treatment with higher concentration of extract treatment, the higher the mortality of Plutella xylostella larvae.

Abstract

The research aims to see how the implementation of management function in Cempaka farmer group in Meras Urban Village of Bunaken Sub-district of Manado City, by using Likert Scale concept to describe the implementation of management function which includes four functions (planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation). This research was conducted from February to June 2017. Data collection was primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews to 15 respondents using questionnaires and secondary data obtained from Meras Kelurahan Office. The sampling technique is Purposive Sampling that respondents are all members and managers of farmer group Cempaka. The resulting data is presented in tabular form and analyzed by Likert scale then described or describes the management function expectation in Cempaka farmer group. The results showed that the percentage of implementation of management function in Cempaka farmer group is 84,49% meaning the implementation of management functions that begin with planning work, finance or division of tasks in of each field to carry out what the work plan and evaluate the work of the group is in accordance with the function of management.*eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors are the cause of drop out of the children of farmers and non-farmers and whether there are differences in factors that cause drop out of the children of farmers and non-farmers. The analysis used in this research is by using descriptive analysis. This study was conducted from April to June 2017. This study used primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected by direct interviews based on list of questions that have been prepared to the total respondents as many as 28 respondents. Method of sampling in this research use purposive sampling methods, they are children of farmer and not farmer with their parents. The results of this study indicate that the factors causing drop out of the children of farmers and non-farmers are: internal factors consisting of the will of the child itself and because children do not like school. External factors consisting of the economic condition of parents (unable to finance) and the social environment because affected with children who have dropped out of school first. At the parent level, both farmers and non-farmers, there is no difference in the reasons for dropping out. While at the level of children, both farmers and non-farmers children, there are different reasons for dropping out of school. Non-farmer children are because of internal factors: the willingness of children themselves while the child farmers are because of external factors are because the social environment.*eprm*

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the total income of sap frompalm sugar (nira) product is income from brown sugar processing and traditional beverage (captikus) in Lolah Village, East Tombariri Subdistrict, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for two months, from June to July 2017. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews to 20 entrepreneurs of palm sugar consisting of 2 brown sugar businessmen and 18 traditional beverage(captikus) entrepreneurs and secondary data obtained from Lolah Village Office. The analysis used is income analysis. The results showed that the production of palm juice in Lolah Village was processed into brown sugar and captikus with average monthly income from brown sugar business Rp.2.724.446 and from captikus production amounted to Rp.3.572.751. The total income per month of the production of sap from palm sugar can be obtained by adding the income of brown sugar and captikus which is Rp.6.297.197.-

Abstract

This research aims to (1) identify and review strategic priority issues of tourism in Bolaang Mongondow Regency, (2) identify, assess and analyze the impact of RTRW Program of tourism designation in BolaangMongondow Regency on the environment, (3) review efforts to minimize the negative impact that will occur as a result of the implementation of the Program in the area of tourism designation in Bolaang Mongondow District. The research was conducted in Bolaang Mongondow Regency of North Sulawesi Province, from September to October 2017. This research uses purposive sampling method with semi-detailed method based on field observation and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and key informant interview. Sources of data obtained are: primary data through interviews with key informants and implementation of Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Research results show that 1) The priority strategic issues of the tourism designation area in Bolaang Mongondow District are biodiversity,waste, distruption of security and comfort, Increasing prosperity, Damage of mangrove and coral reefs. (2) The positive impact is the increase of people's welfare with the business opportunities around the tourism area. Negative impacts caused by the implementation of the tourism area programming program in Bolaang Mongondow District are biodiversity, waste, disruption of security and comfort, mangrove damage and coral reefs. (3) Mitigation efforts to minimize negative impacts are making local regulations on the protection of biodiversity around the tourism area, preparing shelters and processing solid and liquid waste from tourism activities, preparing security officers and disaster management team teams around the tourism area, local regulations as a limiting factor of diving and coastal tourism activities to minimize mangrove and coral reef damage.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the benefits received by the palm sugar household industry is in one time production process. This research was conducted in Pandu Village, Bunaken Subdistrict,Manado City. This study was conducted for 3 months from June to August 2017. The data obtained is the primary data obtained from three farmer craftsmen of palm sugar. Based on the result ofthe research, it can be concluded that the business of oil palm agroindustry in Pandu Urban Village, Bunaken Sub-district, Manado City is very profitable and get value R / C = 2, 29 which means theindustry is profitable and feasible to be developed.
