Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of granting visas and residence permits in the adaptation period of new habits at the Manado Class I TPI Immigration Office. This research was conducted from August 2022 to March 2023. The selection of information was done intentionally and purposefully. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected through interviews, interview guidelines to the Class I TPI Manado immigration office as the implementer of the policy of granting visas and residence permits during the adaptation period of new habits and also to foreign nationals who get these services. Secondary data was obtained from relevant agencies, namely through the Manado Class I TPI Immigration Office, Sam Ratulangi International Airport and the local government of North Sulawesi Province. Secondary data was also obtained through books obtained from local bookstores and the internet through google scholar in the form of books, journal articles, and theses/theses related to the topic of this research, namely the implementation of granting residence permits and visas during the adaptation period of new habits. The results showed that the implementation of the policy of granting visas and residence permits during the adaptation period of new habits by the Manado class I TPI immigration office was running well at that time with the support of the local government and the central government, despite experiencing several changes in rules due to situations and conditions, but the policy could be carried out well.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the participation of election monitoring institutions by looking at issues in monitoring. The research was conducted from March to October 2022. This research is located in North Sulawesi Province, to see the extent of the problems that exist in the monitoring process of general election institutions in 2019. The research took a qualitative descriptive method in order to provide a detailed description of the phenomenon, especially the participation of election monitors in the 2019 elections in North Sulawesi Province. This research focuses on how the participation of election monitors in the 2019 elections in North Sulawesi Province by looking at issues in monitoring. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research used qualitative research data analysis techniques that are commonly used. The results showed that based on the aspects of Money Politics, Campaign, Quiet Period, Voting Day, Recapitulation Process, Election Accessibility Arrangements, and Voters List that they were able to carry out their duties as they should and still needed to maintain coordination in order to create a good form of communication.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Pure Partisipation Rate of SD/MI and Gross Regional Domestic Product which affect the Education Dimension (Expected Years of Schooling) in North Sulawesi Province and to analyze the number of poor people and the open unemployment rate which affect the Expenditure Dimension (Decent Standard of Living) in North Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted from March to May 2023. The type of data used is secondary data from published reports produced by the North Sulawesi Central Statistics Agency for 2021. The objects in this study were 15 districts/cities in North Sulawesi province. The results of the study show that the Pure Partisipation Rate of SD/MI and Gross Regional Domestic Product simultaneously have an influence on the Old School Expectancy. The influence exerted by PPR SD/MI is 37.7% and GRDP is 25.8%. The number of poor people and the open unemployment rate simultaneously have an influence on per capita spending. The influence given by the number of poor people is 39.9% and the open unemployment rate is 45.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the carrying capacity of residential land in Manado City by using the Building Coverage concept according to Muta'ali (2012) and based on the Regulation of the State Minister for Public Housing Number 11 of 2008 (PERMEN No.11 Tahun 2008). This research was conducted in Manado City North Sulawesi Province, which was carried out from March to May 2023. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method was carried out using the Field Research Method, Institutional Survey and Literature Survey. The data analysis method used in this study is using two formulas, namely based on the Building Coverage concept and the Regulation of the State Minister for public Housing Number 11 of 2008 (PERMEN No. 11 Tahun 2008). The results of the study show that the carrying capacity of residential land in Manado City by using the Building Coverage concept (Liputan Bangunan) is 35%. This means that the availability of space in Manado City is generally good or there is still a lot of space that can be used for settlements. While sub-district that has the largest percentage of carrying capacity of residential land using the Building Coverage formula is Sario District at 94.81%, whereas the lowest percentage is in Mapanget District at 6.15%. The value of the Carrying Capacity of Residential Land (DDPm) in Manado citybased on the classification of the Regulation of the State Minister for Public Housing Number 11 of 2008 (PERMEN No. 11 Tahun 2008) is 10.51, which indicated that the DDPm value is > 1. This can be concluded that the carrying capacity of Residential land in Manado City is high and still able to accommodate people for living.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sub-district which is the center of growth and the sub-district that is the Hinterland area to the growth center in the city of Samarinda. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The type of data from this research is secondary data in 2021 in 10 sub-districts in Samarinda City. The variables used in this study are the number of available educational facilities, health facilities, economic facilities, facilities for places of worship, transportation facilities, population and distance from each sub-district in Samarinda City. This study also accommodates the adequacy of facilities in each sub-district in Samarinda City to see the interaction factors between regions. The analytical tools used in this research are scalogram analysis, centrality index analysis and gravity analysis. The data was processed using Microsoft Excel 2016. The results of this study indicate that the Samarinda Kota, Sungai Pinang and North Samarinda sub-districts are the sub-districts that are the center of growth in Samarinda City. Samarinda Ulu District, Samarinda Ilir District and Sungai Pinang District are hinterland areas that have the highest interaction value with sub-districts that are growth centers in Samarinda City.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to identify internal and external factors in strengthening agricultural extension to the marketing of cayenne pepper and to formulate a strategy to strengthen agricultural extension to marketing cayenne pepper products in Paguyaman Pantai District, Boalemo Regency. The research method used is quantitative research in the form of a survey method. This research was conducted in Paguyaman Pantai District, Boalemo Regency in December 2022 to January 2023. The data analysis used was quantitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) Internal and external factors that influence the strategy of strengthening agricultural extension to the marketing of cayenne pepper in Paguyaman Pantai District, Boalemo Regency consist of: internal factors, namely the land that is owned by themselves, the experience of farmers in developing cayenne pepper farming, the existence of directives from extension agents to farmers in developing cayenne pepper farming, cayenne pepper is included in the leading commodity and there are suitable soil conditions, cayenne pepper production is not optimal, selling price for cayenne pepper is unstable, cayenne pepper marketing is uncertain, cayenne pepper commodity is easily damaged and rotten, external factors, namely the support of the local government regarding cayenne pepper farming, the exhibition of horticultural agricultural products, the availability of seeds and fertilizers, the the existence of supporting facilities and infrastructure, the existence of b road cayenne pepper distribution channels, the increasing demand for cayenne pepper, Unstable weather conditions, prices for seeds and fertilizers that are increasingly difficult to reach by farmers, pests and diseases that attack, cayenne pepper prices fluctuate, competitors, limited land. 2) Strategy for strengthening agricultural extension to marketing cayenne pepper products in Paguyaman Pantai District, Boalemo Regency, which is in quadrant I supporting an aggressive strategy or SO (Strength-Opportunities) by using the strengths and opportunities they have to minimize existing weaknesses and threats so as to achieve improvement.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the potential of biophysical civil-forest clearances, analyze economic, institutional, social and cultural conditions, and track stakeholders in determining civil-forest development strategies in the region of Lembean Mountain Reserves. The study was conducted for three months, ranging from March to May 2023. The data used is primary and secondary data. Primary data is collected through interviews, based on questionnaires. The number of respondents to the weight of four respondents with both expert and experienced levels of people's empowerment around the forest region. The number of respondents to give a twenty-first rate to those of a forest-farm group with a permit to use a community forest. The data collected in primary data concern economic conditions, institutional, social and cultural conditions, and stakeholder in determining development strategies. The turnaround strategy is a research strategy developed for the development of community forests in the Lembean Mountain Forest Area. The strategy is to facilitate the establishment and strengthening of group institutions, facilitate businesses wishing to invest with community groups through mutually beneficial cooperation, and develop patterns of agroforestry systems that have products and economic value.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to develop a site design for planning the development and management of natural tourism environmental services that are harmonious and harmonious with the natural environmental conditions in the Mount Mahawu Protection Forest by describing the potential, potential distribution and site analysis of each potential natural tourist attraction object. This research began in March to May 2023. The data used in this study were secondary data and primary data. Survey methods namely observation and inventory are used to obtain primary data in the form of biophysical data on research locations, types of potential natural tourist attraction objects as well as information on flora and fauna obtained at potential ODTW points determined by purposive sampling. Secondary data was obtained from a literature study as well as data from related institutions, namely the Forest Management Unit V of the Regional Forestry Service of North Sulawesi Province. The results showed that there were 6 forms of Land Mapping Unit (LMU) and 7 Land Utilization Types (LUT). The level of feasibility of developing ODTW potential consists of low to high categories. The high potential category is in LMU V and VI. LMU II is in the medium category class, LMU I, III and IV are in the medium and low categories. Alternatives to developing management space consist of business space covering an area of 522.663 Ha and public space of 53.265 Ha or 9.25% of the total site area by considering ecological, policy, technical and socio-cultural aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of community participation in handling beach cleanliness around Bersehati Market, as well as analyzing the obstacles and challenges of waste management on the beach around Bersehati Market by the relevant government, in this case Calaca Village. The research was conducted from March to April 2022. The research was conducted on the beach of Pasar Bersehati Jl.Nusantara No.17, Calaca, Kec. Wenang, Manado City, North Sulawesi. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data derived from internal government data in this case the Calaca Village Office. Data collection carried out in this research is through literature study and interviews, both of these techniques are carried out in terms of obtaining information relevant to the research. Sampling using nonprobability sampling technique purposive sampling type, namely by selecting sample members who know the problem and agree to provide the information needed, as long as the information can be used as a sample in this study if the respondent is suitable as a data source. Research data analysis is with data reduction activities, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results showed that community participation in waste management is good enough but cooperation must be further enhanced between the relevant government and the community so that waste management can run optimally, and community participation still needs to be improved.
