Abstract

This study aims to find out how people perceive the use of social media applications in adolescents in Pasar Ujung Batu Village, Sosa District, Padang Lawas Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the various perceptions of parents of teenagers in Pasar Ujung Batu Village range from positive, negative and neutral. There are positive and negative impacts on adolescent users of social media, while the positive impacts obtained by adolescents using social media are: strengthening friendships, increasing friends, being easy to get along with, increasing knowledge, a place for discussion, a place to pour out one's heart, a place for storing personal data. While the negative impacts on young social media users are: Imitation behavior, offense, reduced relationship with the surrounding environment, lack of attention to family, forgetting time, and reduced study time. Teenagers of Pasar Ujung Batu Village, Sosa District, Padang Lawas Regency use social media not only to seek entertainment by watching videos and chats that are presented there, but also to act as content creators. However, there are impacts that many parents complain about, such as their children tend to often make dance content that is considered bad and even neglect what is required of them.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the motivational messages in the film "Range of Stories" are formed from the perspective of Abraham Maslow's Theory. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach and Abraham Maslow's motivational theory approach. The data collection technique is by observing, documenting and studying the literature. The primary data source is film video recordings. The findings from this study are that there are five forms of motivation strata described by expert Abraham Maslow contained in the film "Range of Stories". 1) The first level of physiological needs there are five elements in the film that describe physiological needs; 2) The second stratum, there are two elements in this film that describe the need for a sense of security in the film; 3) The third stratum, there are two elements in this film that describe social needs (a feeling of affection or being loved); 4) The fourth stratum, there are two elements in this film which describe the need for recognition from others (ego); 5) In the fifth strata, there are two elements in this film that describe a form of self-actualization.

Abstract

Indonesia, which is a democratic country, elections are an instrument to exercise people's sovereignty. In order to produce a quality election, a professional institution that manages elections is needed. Election organizers recruit staffAd Hock for Elections 2024. At least there is a AgencyAd Hock at the sub-district, village and sub-district levels of 28 sub-districts scattered in Konawe Regency. Like a pyramid, the further down a row, then it gets bigger and wider. While the knowledge and skills of implementation are mandatory equalized. The standard of governance for the implementation and supervision of elections must be owned by everyone election administrators at all levels. This is the main key to realizing elections with integrity future. However, it cannot be denied, the capacity building of election organizers is especially important levelAd Hock, namely sub-districts to polling stations, are very limited. Amount technical guidance and outreach are determined by budget availability and implementation schedule. In the end, the limited amount and time were not followed by all stakeholders. Even the simultaneousness of the upcoming elections is increasingly narrowing the space for capacity building. So appointed, election administratorAd Hock directly implement and supervise the due stages its formation was carried out very close to the work that immediately had to be done, By therefore, the recruitment of election organizersAd Hock be the key to the realization of the organizers who are truly qualified and have integrity and adequate capacity. Selection is really carried out to attract candidates who have the appropriate knowledge and skills with the provisions of the law, have a personality with integrity and have a soul strong service to all parties with diverse backgrounds. That is full attention to integral fulfillment of requirements, openness and massive outreach during the recruitment process and the involvement of all parties to recruit the best sons and daughters in carrying out and supervising the electoral process. As for the conditions have the ability and expertise related to the administration of elections, state administration, party and election supervision is confirmed through a written test that concentrates on authorities, obligations, main tasks and functions as an ad hoc organizer. Abstract

Engine lubricating oil or better known as engine oil is a substance that serves to lubricate the engine. All types of oil are basically the same. Namely as a lubricant so that the engine runs smoothly and hassle free. It also functions as a cooler and insulator. Oil contains fine layers, serves to prevent the occurrence of collisions between metal and metal engine components to a minimum, preventing scratches or wear. Breakdown is an event when the magnetic field is increased (voltage is continuously increased), the atoms will ionized and up to the limit of the insulator's ability to withstand the voltage, the insulator will turn into a conductor. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of temperature changes on the breakdown voltage value of engine oil when heating occurs in synthetic and non-synthetic engine oil. The method used is the experimental method. The research subjects that will be studied are synthetic and non-synthetic type 15w-40 oil in new condition. In data collection, 15w-40 mineral and synthetic oil samples were taken and then tested at normal temperature three times then the oil was heated and samples were taken at every 120℃, 90℃, 60℃ and at the initial temperature after being heated and each sample was carried out three times. The test is carried out based on the SPLN Test Standard 49-1 with the IEC 156 test method, a transformer oil as an insulating material must have a minimum breakdown voltage of 30kV/2.5mm.

Abstract

Pump is a device used to increase pressure to flow fluid or something in the form of liquid from one place to another or from a low surface to a high surface. High pressure is exerted through the medium by imparting energy to the displaced fluid, converting mechanical energy to kinetic energy. The mechanical energy of the pump is used to increase the speed, pressure or height of the fluid. Therefore making a pump prototype by making different impeller lengths, whether it can affect the resulting flow discharge output or not. So that in the future we can conduct experiments to make an impeller which is more effective in producing a larger water discharge.

Abstract

This research is conducted to determine the correlation and implementation of big data towards public health, which can then become a solution in Indonesia that is currently facing the triple burden. This study will review previous literature to find and gather information that can fulfill the research objectives. The results of this research show that big data combined with other disciplines such as AI, IoT, and machine learning have their own benefits and challenges. The challenges include data privacy, accuracy of results, and validation of information spread. On the other hand, the benefits are used to assist in public service activities and government in achieving goals and solving problems regarding public health, through disease surveillance and signal detection, predicting public health risks leading to opportunities to implement prevention interventions, identifying and understanding more about diseases, developing more accurate drugs, and providing more precise care with existing drugs.

Abstract

In this study, the aim is to find out how parents view the use of social media applications in adolescents in the city of Surabaya. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which is done by collecting data through interviews and observation. The results of this research show that various views of parents of teenagers in the city of Surabaya range from positive, negative, and neutral. There are many positive and negative impacts on teenagers in using social media; there are positive impacts obtained from teenagers, namely: being able to strengthen friendships with friends, being able to add friends, easy to interact with friends, being easy to get along with, broadening knowledge, make social media as a discussion suggestion, a place to pour out your heart, a place to store personal data. Meanwhile, the negative impacts that occur on adolescents in using social media are: imitation behavior, offense, reduced relationship with the surrounding environment, forgetting time from study time and other activity times, and the most important negative impact is lack of attention to family. Teenagers in the city of Surabaya use social media not only to chat and watch videos but also to act as content creators. but there is an impact that parents complain about, like teenagers, they often create content such as content that is considered bad and can forget about their own obligations.

Abstract

BUMDes are regulated in Article 1 paragraph (6) of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 39 of 2010, which states that BUMDes are village businesses formed or established by the village government where capital ownership and management are carried out by the village government and the community. The problem faced by the Taringgul Tonggoh Village BUMDes management is the weekly and monthly financial recording or bookkeeping process, BUMDes is still done manually. This Financial Recording Information System can help and facilitate BUMDes administrators in recording or financial bookkeeping. The process of recording or bookkeeping carried out by the management will be more effective and efficient. In this study using the waterfall method as a method of system development and modeling using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). While making this program using the programming language Hypertext Preprocessor or Personal Home Page (PHP). The results of this study are to produce an information system that makes it easier for BUMDes administrators to carry out the process of recording or financial accounting using the Mobile Web-Based Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Financial Recording Information System in Taringgul Tonggoh Village, Wanayasa District. PHP is a programming language that is commonly used in creating and developing a website. The function of PHP in general is to change static page sites into dynamic pages. So web pages can adjust the appearance of content based on the situation so it doesn't just look like that. The advantages of using the PHP programming language include: Easy to learn, many uses, cost-effective, Integrated with databases.

Abstract

Mount Agung is one of the active mountains in the Bali region which is in the north of Bali and is about 75 kilometers from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport which is in the southwest of Mount Agung. Mount Agung has an eruption record from early October to late December 2017 with Level 3 to Level 4. By using 4 methods, namely Himawari-8 satellite imagery, trajectory and dispersion hysplit and Streamline models, a pattern of volcanic ash distribution was produced that directed towards the South to Southwest due to the influence of wind patterns and cyclones with wind speeds reaching 10 to 100 knots at altitudes of 400, 500, 600, 700 and 850 hPa and the minimum particle concentration value in volcanic ash eruption of Mount Agung reaches 〖3,8〗^(-21) mass/m³ and the maximum particle concentration value reaches 〖1,0〗^(-11) mass/m³. In addition, the distribution of volcanic ash leading to I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport also has an impact on the safety of flight activities both during take-off and landing, so that on November 27 to 30, 2017 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was officially closed and canceled flights to and from Bali.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of self-control in adolescents in using the TikTok application in Timbangan Village. This type of research is descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, observation and literature study. The sample of this study amounted to 61 people who were teenagers aged 11-13 years who used the TikTok application in Timbangan Village, the determination of this sample was carried out by calculating the slovin formula and specified by purposive sampling technique. The results show that the level of self-control of adolescents in using the TikTok application in Timbangan Village is 74.19% with a high category of behavior control indicators and control decisions because most adolescents are able to set limits on themselves and make good decisions for themselves in using the TikTok application. In the cognitive control indicator, it is quite high because a small proportion of teenagers who use the TikTok application in Timbangan Village still often make negative comments on TikTok and do not check content that is not yet clear the truth.
