Abstract

Abstract School Operational Assistance (BOS) allocation at the school to be right on target that the government declared the policy should not the rest of it in improving the quality of education. But the realization of policy dysfunction BOS fund use should conform to the rules set so that it can be said BOS less on target. Documenting the school performed in assessing socio-economic conditions of students families are less able to just look at it subjectively. The method used in this research is quantitative research by the survey method. Samples were taken at two schools respectively were 70 respondents. The end result in this paper is to assess the school's policy that students are not able to do the school still not 100% on target. Because schools do not perform data collection using concrete indicators of poverty such as data collection conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) resulting latent dysfunction in BOS funds allocated for poor students. Abstract

One’s habit in language use is influenced by daily social life structures thereby creating different interaction patterns both individually or as a group. Sociology of language critically analyzes the use of language as a symbol of power which dominates the arena in a multicultural school. This research utilizes mixed methods as it is considered capable of finding and answering the issues and problems under examination. The location of research was Sultan Iskandar Muda High School which is the only multicultural education curriculum based pilot school in the city of Medan. The informants in this study were the principal, teachers, and students while the respondents were samples of high school students totaling 86 individuals. Research results show that one’s power in language use is determined by one’s interest in using language. School power and individual power has different portions when positioning one’s self during interactions. Although power is coercive in nature, the community must submit to rules of the school. The power of the school in determining language emphasizes values of nationalism, which is different to individual or group power which adjusts the language to the situation at hand so that relations of language use has its own portion of interaction in the multicultural school.

Abstract

Moderasi beragama Hindu direalisasikan sebagai bentuk kerukunan antar umat beragama. Ajaran agama Hindu berbasis kearifan lokal “menyama braya” dimanfaatkan sebagai modal dasar pembentuk kohesi sosial ditengah masyarakat beragama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat proses interaksi sosial sebagai pembentuk kohesi sosial dan mendeskripsikan cara mengimplementasikan moderasi beragama Hindu Bali berbasis kearifan lokal di Kampung Bali Kabupaten Langkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam kepada 5 informan terkait dengan implementasi moderasi beragama Hindu berbasis kearifan lokal dengan menggunakan analisis kajian teori sosiologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi moderasi beragama masyarakat Hindu Bali menggunakan konsep ajaran “menyama braya” sebagai pembentuk kohesi sosial ternyata mampu beradaptasi, mempertahankan ajaran agama, menjaga tradisi simbolis kebudayaan serta mampu menunjukkan sikap toleransi yang tinggi antar umat beragama diperantauan meskipun terjadi pergeseran nilai kebudayaan yang disebabkan oleh pembauran di arena sosialnya.

Abstract

The fight in the globalization field between Eastern business people and Western industrialists shows strength for both. This article examines the improvement of Islamic financial matters in light of the contemplations of Muhammad Baqir Ash-Sadr, Karl Marx, and Max Weber in the humanistic perspective by taking a gander at the standards of worldwide Islamic financial matters in helping out a few non-Muslim nations. This research method uses library research, namely, taking information from books and scientific articles relevant to the problem to be answered. The consequences of this study show that the reasoning of Marx and Weber about the Islamic monetary framework encountering a decay was gone against by Muhammad Baiqr Sadr. That's what sadr censures if Marxism denies things connected with a powerful way of thinking; without anyone else, Marxism has isolated itself from things not related to science. The standards of Islamic lessons as the principal reason for making progress in business are demonstrated to have the option to contend worldwide. For instance, Saudi Aramco organizations, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Qatar National Bank (QNB), Ooredoo, and the Fly Emirad Company are clear confirmations that they are huge organizations and impact financial backers in Western nations.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Communication ethics is currently often underestimated by many people, especially in online media communicators and communicants do not meet each other directly. This can be a concern for people, especially the ethics of buying and selling communication in online media. Knowing and implementing the existing rules correctly, it is very possible if various obstacles to shopping in online media can be overcome. For this reason, this study discusses whether the ethics of buying and selling communication in online media can affect consumers, as well as what obstacles are in the ethics of buying and selling communication in online media. Some important points in the ethics of communicating buying and selling in online media include creating existing moral values, creating honesty in every human being, the public has the right to as much information as possible regarding the reliability of the source, then do not provide information if it is known that it is inaccurate, and create a harmonious relationship. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method where the researcher must describe the results of each finding. The number of informants is 10 people consisting of 5 people as online sellers and 5 people as online consumers. The research technique uses interviews, observation and documentation. Seeing from the number of people who use this online media to make buying and selling transactions, it is necessary to encourage all levels of society to have ethics on how to communicate well in online media.

Abstract

Abstract: This study will discuss how the representation of sincere’s meaning was shown in the animation film named Nussa. Representation in a film is a depicition of something that is poured through the story in a film. “Nussa ad Rarra” is an Indonesian animated film produced by The Little Giantz which is shown on the official Youtube platform Nussa Official Chanel. This film comes against the background of the decline in the character of the nation’s children. Instilling a sincere attitude, especially to children, requires extra patience, because children’s souls are easily influenced by things that can damage their righteous intetions. This episode of “Learning of  Sincere” illustrates how Nussa teaches her sister Rarra to always act sincerely. Nussa, who is a person with a disability, told how she accepted her situationn which had been decreed by Allah SWT. This tudy aims to describe the sincere representation contained in the Nussa animation by analyzing the sign in each scene based on the meaning of conotation, denotation, and myth. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis, it was found that the sincere meaning contained in Nussa’s animation is not to feel disappointed if the good deeds we have done didn’t get an appreciation, accept God’s decree with pleasure, and do not expect anything in return in everythig. Keywords: Representation, Sincere’s Meaning, Animated Film

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana hasil dari perubahan perilaku penggemar BTS secara verbal maupun non verbal dan dampak positif dan negatif yang terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perubahan perilaku penggemar BTS secara verbal maupun non verbal dan apakah ada dampak positif dan negatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori uses an effect dan teori budaya populer (popular culture theory). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu wawancara mendalam dan observasi dengan penggemar BTS yaitu anggota Komunitas Army Medan Borahae yang terdiri dari 6 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efek K-Pop terjadi pada perilaku penggemar BTS yaitu lebih mencintai diri sendiri, lebih percaya diri, tidak mudah menyerah dan lebih berani mengambil keputusan. Dan dampak yang terjadi dari menyukai K-Pop BTS ini adalah dampak positif seperti kehidupan lebih banyak berubah setelah kenal BTS, pola hidup lebih sehat karena sering melihat gaya hidup dari idolanya. Adapun dampak negatif nya yaitu ada yang lebih menyukai musik k-pop dibanding musik Indoensia dan para penggemar mengaku sudah cukup banyak menghabiskan uang untuk membeli barang official BTS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Representasi Pubertas pada Remaja Perempuan dalam Film Animasi Turning Red (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes)”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan representasi pubertas pada remaja perempuan dalam film Turning Red. Pubertas merupakan titik kritis yang terjadi pada remaja perempuan di seluruh dunia. Film adalah media penyampai pesan yang cermat dan merupakan media paling efektif untuk menyampaikan maksud tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Representasi pubertas pada remaja perempuan dalam film Turning Red dianalisis dengan mengambil beberapa sejumlah adegan (Scene) dan menganalisis tanda-tanda yang ada berdasarkan makna konotasi, denotasi dan mitos. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa secara denotasi remaja yang memasuki fase pubertas memiliki keterbatasan ruang sosial. Secara konotasi pubertas juga mendorong remaja perempuan mengalami ketertarikan pada remaja laki-laki, pemikiran labil , emosional, dan bisa mengambil keputusan. Panda merah menggambarkan mitos kerapuhan, dan menurut nenek moyang panda merah dapat melindungi keluarganya. Makna mitos digambarkan dengan kehadiran “Panda Merah” yang kuat, marah jika diusik, tapi mampu berperan sebagai pelindung keluarga sesuai kepercayaan dalam budaya China. Pada akhirnya pubertas adalah fase yang sulit pada remaja perempuan dimana dia akan mengalami storm and stress, overthinking, insecure. Namun remaja perempuan dapat melewati fase ini dengan dukungan maksimal dari seorang ibu atau keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how people perceive the use of social media applications in adolescents in Pasar Ujung Batu Village, Sosa District, Padang Lawas Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the various perceptions of parents of teenagers in Pasar Ujung Batu Village range from positive, negative and neutral. There are positive and negative impacts on adolescent users of social media, while the positive impacts obtained by adolescents using social media are: strengthening friendships, increasing friends, being easy to get along with, increasing knowledge, a place for discussion, a place to pour out one's heart, a place for storing personal data. While the negative impacts on young social media users are: Imitation behavior, offense, reduced relationship with the surrounding environment, lack of attention to family, forgetting time, and reduced study time. Teenagers of Pasar Ujung Batu Village, Sosa District, Padang Lawas Regency use social media not only to seek entertainment by watching videos and chats that are presented there, but also to act as content creators. However, there are impacts that many parents complain about, such as their children tend to often make dance content that is considered bad and even neglect what is required of them.
