The term community service refers to activities that utilize relevant science and technology to advance the welfare of the community and educate the nations life. This journal publishes articles with topics such as theoretical innovations or methods or strategies for implementing community service activities, community service management innovations, university-community partnership strengthening programs, as well as other topics related to the impact and best practices in the implementation of community service to society. Praxis accepts article submissions from all over the world. All accepted articles will be published for payment of an article processing fee, and will be available free of charge to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage. Praxis accepts article manuscripts with the following types Research Article: contains a quantitative, qualitative, or combination method study that shows the impact of community service projects on local communities, students, lecturers, or institutions. Reflective Essays contain sharp reflections on current issues or ideas related to community service based on literature. Projects with Prospects contains a description of the early stages of a community service project with an initial indication of its impact long-term evaluation plan a plan for how the project will remain sustainable; and best practices for readers to emulate. Book Reviews contains reviews of books related to community service which are more than just content descriptions, in order to analyze and extract their implications for theory and practice.

Abstract

Global warming is currently a natural problem by all levels of society in the world. One sign of global warming is a rise in temperature in the air. The cause of global warming is from humans themselves such as the use of fossil fuels. One of the efforts to save the earth from global warming can be by reforestation. Through reforestation activities can restore the function of forests, namely as the lungs of the world. In order to protect the natural environment on Mount Giyanti located in Balesari Village, Windusari District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. Through UNNES GIAT 5 KKN (Real Work Lecture) activities, the author carried out one of the work programs, namely reforestation on Mount Giyanti. This is also a manifestation of community service, especially in Balesari Village. The method used is first preparation and then second implementation of activities. Through reforestation activities, it is expected to help global warming that hit the world.

Abstract

This research proposes efforts to enhance digital literacy in the rural community of Rancabungur Village through the utilization of IPUSNAS technology. Digital literacy is key in addressing global digitalization challenges, and rural areas should not be left behind. Through this approach, we investigate how IPUSNAS can be used as a tool to improve digital understanding and skills within the village community. The research involves surveys, training, and the implementation of IPUSNAS to assist the people of Rancabungur Village in coping with the digital age. The results indicate a significant improvement in the digital literacy of the community, bringing substantial benefits to sustainable development in the village.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet using letter stick media at RA Qurrata'ayun. The research methods used are demonstration and training methods which make the atmosphere of the learning process more fun, interesting and efficient. The results of this community service show that there is an increase in the ability to recognize alphabet letters in RA Qurrata'ayun students after learning to know letters using alphabet sticks. Therefore, alphabet stick media can be used as an alternative to improve the ability to understand letters in early childhood.

Abstract

This community service is to describe the implementation of learning assistance using flashcard media as an effort to increase the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters at TKIT Akasia Rancabungur Village. The subjects of this research were group A students at TKIT Akasia Rancabungur Village for the academic year 2023/2024. The number of participants were 13 children. This community is carried out to determine the development of young children in knowing hijaiyah letters, especially using flashcard media. Learning is carried out using the demonstration method which will increase understanding and communication skills which can spur and stimulate increased activity and in students’ understanding.

Abstract

QRIS is a digital payment method for the people of Rancabungur Village. In this research, researchers have interviewed 20 MSMEs about non-cash payment systems in their shops. In this research, researchers conducted outreach and registered QRIS barcodes for MSMEs. The research location was carried out in the Rancabungur Village area RW 09, 10 and 11. In collecting primary data, the researcher provided a list of questions to ask the informants. Apart from data collection techniques using interviews, researchers also used literature studies from books, journals and relevant reading sources to support this journal. Based on the results of socialization and implementation carried out by students to MSMEs. The use of QRIS for MSMEs in Rancabungur Village can change people's mindset. The use of QRIS is to emphasize the role of QRIS as a cashless payment method using only a smartphone which can make payment transactions more practical and faster.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious problem in the growth and development of early childhood which can have an impact on their health and quality of life. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out effective outreach and intervention to prevent stunting. The KKN (Real Work Lecture) program in Karangrowo Undaan Village is a forum for implementing this effort. In this context, PMT (Extension and Socialization of the Supplemental Food Program) is the main instrument in educating mothers of toddlers about stunting and the importance of balanced nutrition. This abstract describes the stages of the KKN program which involves counseling, discussion, measuring children's height and weight, as well as the practice of preparing a healthy, nutritious lunch menu. Through the "learning by doing" method, participants are actively involved in this activity to increase their understanding of stunting and how to prevent it. This program has great potential to increase public awareness and knowledge regarding stunting and improve early childhood health through PMT.

Abstract

Gadgets in various forms and functions have become a crucial part of life everyday Indonesian society. Over time, gadgets have become an integral part inseparable from their lives. The kids from before may be more familiar traditional games in the open air now tend to be more time consuming them with gadgets. However, behind the comfort and practicality offered by This technology has increasingly disturbing negative impacts, one of which is gadget addiction. Apart from that, gadgets also have a psychological impact, such as An anxiety disorder known as no mobile phone phobia or nomophobia. This activity took the form of psychoeducation which was carried out at SDN Bojong 02 Kemang Bogor. The method used is interactive lectures and discussions and is processed descriptively, with one group pretest and posttest as well as FGD. This psychoeducation aims to provide insight to students regarding the impact of excessive gadget use. The results of this research show that psychoeducation has influence and is capable increase insight into gadgets.

Abstract

The LGBT phenomenon, which is considered deviant behavior, is currently prevalent in society, causing concerns from various parties. Additionally, parents of students are also worried that the behavior of LGBT individuals may have negative consequences, similar to other contagious diseases, through the interaction of children, whether within the school environment or in social circles. The purpose of this community service activity is a preventive measure against deviant behavior threats like LGBT and to examine it from the perspectives of Islamic Law and Psychology. The method of implementing this activity is through sharing sessions. The outcome of this activity is an increased understanding and knowledge regarding the impact and threats of the dangers in the LGBT phenomenon in society from both Islamic Law and psychological standpoints.

Abstract

Bojong Village has great economic potential, although the economic conditions of the Bojong Village community are not the same. This is influenced by the geographical location of Bojong village, most of the Bojong village area is agricultural land. Although the majority of people in Bojong Village depend on the agricultural sector for their livelihoods, there are also people who work in other sectors such as livestock, trade, shops and MSMEs. Bojong Village is included in the category of developing villages that have a lot of potential that must be introduced or exported. The problem faced by Bojong Village, Kemang District, is that the village website is still managed by the Kemang District, so it cannot be optimal in managing and introducing all the potential that exists in Bojong Village via the website effectively, coupled with the absence of social media from Bojong Village to introduce various things. the potential that exists in digital media. Utilization of media and information systems in the form of web framework development and also improving the skills of Bojong village youth through graphic design training. The aim of implementing this program is to develop a village information system to introduce the village's potential and superior products and improve the skills of the youth of Bojong village, Kemang District, based on a web framework to the maximum. This service activity is carried out using regional observation, identification, targeting, implementation and evaluation methods.

Abstract

Drugs and corruption are serious problems that affect many aspects of life, so early preventive measures are needed to prevent the impact from widening. Implementing the socialization of anti-drug and anti-corruption education aimed at the younger generation is one of the preventive measures to avert the negative impact of drugs and corruption from spreading widely among students. The socialization activity is used the sharing session method in which the facilitators provide information about the effect of drugs and the characteristics of corruption on students. This community service activity aimed to give an understanding of anti-drug and anti-corruption education to the young generations. The result of the community has been to raise awareness of the young especially among students in case of the dangers of drugs and corruption.
