Abstract

This study aims to develop flipbook electronic teaching materials based on the group investigation cooperative model to improve students' higher-order thinking skills. The type of research used is research and development (Research & Development) 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The research data was obtained through expert validation sheets and high-order thinking skills question sheets. The validated aspects include the feasibility of the material, language, and media. The validators (raters) involved to validate were six people consisting of experts and practitioners. Data on the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials were obtained from the results of the higher-order thinking skills test given to twenty-eight fifth-grade elementary school students. Based on the results of the research and development, it was concluded that flipbook electronic teaching materials based on the group investigation type cooperative model to improve students' higher-order thinking skills were very feasible and effective for learning science content on the sixth theme "Heat and Its Transfer" in the fifth grade of elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine feasibilitymaterial, language, media, and student responses, as well as product effectiveness resulting from the development of interactive multimedia with environment-based prezi applications to improve cognitive learning outcomes in elementary school science learning. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The model used in development is the ADDIE model.The subjects in the study were studentsSDN 78 Bengkulu Selatan, which amounted to 20 students of class V as the control class, and 20 students of class V SDN 73 Bengkulu Selatan as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were interview guides, questionnaires, and tests of understanding this concept in the form of multiple choice questions through pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique in this study was validation analysis using Aiken's V andreliabilityInterrater Reliability, teacher and student responses, as well as quantitative analysis using N-gain. From the research results it is known that the results of material, language, and media validation, as well as students' responses tointeractive multimedia with the prezi applicationvery feasible and well used in learning so that students are happy and interested in learning. effectiveness resultsinteractive multimedia with the prezi applicationeffectively influence students' understanding of science concepts. Based ongain-score test ofinteractive multimediagives the results of a moderate gain score of 62%. So that students understand the concept of science using interactive multimediawith the prezi appenvironment-based to improve cognitive learning outcomes is higher than students who only use textbooks from schools so that it is declared effective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of science learning with a scientific approach using interactive PowerPoint media on the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students.This research is a quantitative research. The method used is Quasi Experimental Design (pseudo-experimental research). Quasi Experimental Designaims to determine the differences between two variables or more groups that are the subject of research, because the sample is not randomly selected but has been formed in the form of classes. Therefore, the research sample was divided into two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. As an experimental class in this study were 20 grade IV students at SDN 2 Sungai Pinang and as a control class were 20 grade IV students at SDN 1 Sungai Pinang. Data collection technique is done by test pretest andposttest. The instrument given was essay questions consisting of 10 questions, consisting of 5 questions on the induction aspect and 5 questions on the deduction aspect. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the induction aspect variable between the experimental class and the control class has an increase difference of 44.00%. While the average value of the deduction aspect variable has an increase difference of 39.40%. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effectscience learning with a scientific approach using interactive powerpoint media.to critical thinking skills of grade IV students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of science learning with cooperative type model Group Investigation assisted by Student Worksheets on understanding concepts and science process skills in fifth grade students. This research is a quantitative research. The method used is Quasi Experimental Design (pseudo-experimental research). The research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research samples were 25 students in class V at SDN Trans Pendingan as an experimental class and 24 students in class V at SDN Anyar as a control class. The data collection technique is done by testing pretest and posttest. The instruments given were 20 questions consisting of aspects of understanding concepts totaling 15 multiple choice questions and aspects of science process skills totaling 5 Essay questions. The results showed that the average value of the concept understanding variable between the experimental class and the control class had an increase difference of 20.72%. While the average value of the science process skills variable has an increase difference of 4.63%. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on science learning with the type cooperative model Group Investigation assisted by Student Worksheets on understanding concepts and science process skills in fifth grade students.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of interactive PowerPoint media in project-based science learning on the dimensions of the ability to think fluently, think flexibly, think original and the relationship between the ability to think fluently, flexibly and original in project-based science learning with interactive PowerPoint media. The type of research is quasi-experimental research using a pretest-posttest control group design. The instruments used are question instruments and expert validation sheets. Based on the Asymp sig value. 2 tailed is 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of interactive PowerPoint media in project-based science learning on the dimensions of the ability to think fluently, flexibly and originally. then the sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) sperman rank correlation. 0.05. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between the dimensions of the ability to think fluency, flexicibility and originality using PowerPoint media in project-based science learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop, describe the level of feasibility, determine user responses and determine the effectiveness of developing audio-visual-based Sacred Riak Folklore Teaching Materials in Indonesian Language Learning to Improve Class IV Student Learning Outcomes at SDN 56 Bengkulu City. The type of research used is research and development. The research model in developing teaching materials is the ADDIE model. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, questions, expert validation sheets and user response questionnaires. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the teaching materials that have been developed are suitable for use as teaching materials in class IV Indonesian language content. The expert validation results were 0.95 from material expert validation, 0.93 from design validation, and 0.94 from language expert validation. The user response was very good because the results of the analysis of the class IV teacher questionnaire showed a percentage of 90.8% with very good criteria. Meanwhile, the response from students obtained a percentage of 93.8% with very good criteria. The teaching materials developed are effective in improving the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 56 Bengkulu City. This is based on the results of the average score for the experimental class which used audiovisual based teaching materials which obtained a score of 80 while the control class obtained a score of 70.56 so there was a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence and relationship of science learning with the PBL model assisted by digital comic media on critical thinking skills in the concluding dimension and further explanation dimension. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research using a pretest-posttest control group design. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, question instruments and expert validation sheets. Based on the research results, it was found that the use of the PBL model assisted by digital comic media had a significant effect on the concluding dimensions. This is shown by the posttest average of the concluding dimension in the control class being 72, while the posttest average in the experimental class is 85. The use of the PBL model assisted by digital comic media has a significant effect on the further explanation dimension. This is shown by the average posttest of the concluding dimension in the control class being 75, while the posttest average for the experimental class is 88. Furthermore, there is a relationship between the critical thinking ability of the concluding dimension and further explanation in science learning using the PBL model assisted by digital comic media. This is indicated by a significance value of 0.004 and has a fairly strong relationship with a correlation coefficient of 0.595.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop, describe the level of feasibility, determine user responses and determine the effectiveness of developing a Miniature Solar System Package in Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning to Improve Science Cognitive Learning Outcomes for Class VI Elementary School Students. The type of research used is research and development. The research model in developing teaching materials is the ADDIE model. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of Pre-research Phase Interview Sheets, Media Expert Validation Instruments, materials and language, Student Response Questionnaire Instruments, Observation Guide Sheets, Question Validation Instruments, test sheets. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the teaching materials that have been developed are suitable for use as teaching materials in class IV Indonesian language content. The expert validation results were 0.824 from material expert validation, 0.88 from design validation, and 0.874 from language expert validation. The response from students obtained a percentage of 94.5% with very good criteria. The teaching materials developed are effective in improving the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDIT UMMI Elementary School, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research aims to produce, describe and analyze the development of STM-based science LKPD to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students. In science learning, students are only given verbal explanations, resulting in abstract material. Problems arise because schools use LKPD which do not meet the scope of the learning objectives, because the weakness of the LKPD used so far, specifically natural resource material, is not in accordance with the demands of KD. 3.5 and KD 4.5. The research used in this study used research and development (R&D) data collection techniques in this study interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The research instruments in this study were validation sheets, interview guidelines and document analysis sheets, questionnaires, test sheets, data analysis techniques in this study were qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. The STM-based LKPD teaching materials that were developed were printed teaching materials that were made systematically according to the needs of students at school. The LKPD developed has a title, study instructions, basic competencies (pkok material), supporting information as well as tasks and work steps. The use of STM-based LKPD teaching materials is quite effective because the results obtained from the control class are 0.1600 or 15.9979% moderate. Meanwhile, the N-gain score for the experimental class is 0.3376 or 33.7569%, including the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyzed the influence of Powtoon media in problem based natural sciences learning on the critical thinking abilities of fifth grade elementary school students in the aspects of interpretation, analysis and inference. The research design used was Quasi-Experimental research with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The type used is quantitative data non-test instruments in the form of expert validation sheets and tests in the form of critical thinking ability tests. Based on the results of the studied, it can be concluded that powtoon media in problem based natural sciences learned can improve critical thinking skills in aspects of interpretation. The average posttest in the control class was (76.36), the experimental class was (87.00). The percentage of N-Gain calculation is (81%) with large categories. The average posttest in the control class was (73.64), the experimental class was (85.00). The percentage of N-Gain value is (81%) with large categories. The used of powtoon media in problem based natural sciences learned has a significant effect on critical thinking skills in inferential aspects. The average posttest in the control class was (74.55), the experimental class was (86.00). The N-Gain value is (0.91) if the percentage is (81%) with a large category. The relationship between critical thinking skills in aspects of interpretation and analysis together with inference has a positive relationship with a very strong level of relationship with coefficiency (0.92). Aspects of analysis and inference with coefficient (0.59). Aspects of interpretation and analysis have coefficient (0.80). The used of powtoon media in problem based natural science learned can improve critical thinking skills in aspects of interpretation, analysis, and interpretation in large categories and has a positive relationship with a very strong level of relationship.
